I watched the series much later-on, during the 60's, but never saw it in color until the advent of RUclips. I've read a few of the origiinal O. Henry short-stories featuring Cisco, including the first. They're very different from the films but that's Hollywood for you. This was a very interesting history of the character, thanks!
