It’s such a tremendous vehicle that offers so much for the money. I don’t think a better interior exists. It’s bigger than what I need but it’s surely a winner.
A lot of people, myself included, hates having piano black all over the interior. It's just a dust magnet and almost impossible to keep clean. Now Hyundai decided to cover large areas of the exterior with it. Beside dirt and dust, nicks and scratches will appear and be hard to fix.
My wife found pearl white covering at a HUGE discount and we're going with that very soon in my Hybrid. The black interior I have is so dark I have to use a flashlight to see anything. She has red outside and light grey inside in her Hyundai.
We have the same model and like everything about it. We foot race to see who gets to drive. We (meaning my wife) was going too fast on the freeway, the car said, “ caution speed trap ahead “ . Yup, saved her/us a ticket. Lol
My 2024 Santa Fe 2.5 gas turbo just had its transmission malfunction, and it may take three months or longer to get replaced. The vehicle had 5,000km or just over 3,000 miles on it, and now there is a recall for all Santa Fe's regarding the vehicle's wiring harness that may cause the airbags to inflate. Hyundi is paying for my rental, but now it might not ever buy another Hyundi going forward.
I have a Honda that had airbag recalls, millions recalled and part was backordered for years. This was specific to the Takada airbag manufacturer if I recall. Still, good to know.
Co worker bought a 25 hybrid, 2 weeks later he came to work with a loaner, he said his car started smoking from under the hood pulled over on the side of the fwy had to get it towed. 😢
@@nicholasdidesidero2336 I assume most are working correctly, but compared to their tried and true 6 speed, it’s had way too many issue for a tranny that been around several years now.
The non-hybrid model has only one exhaust tip that makes the back look imbalanced, on top of the back looking odd overall. The hybrid model without the exhaust tip looks much better from the back. The stitching on the upholstery also looks lumpy in places; needs better quality control there. Nonetheless, this SUV offers so much for the price.
@@jeffk5142 that’s been a minor personal complaint about Hyundai for years. Most other manufacturers balance the look by place exhausts on both sides. Even Genesis does a wonderful job, but not even the top of the line Kia or Hyundai does. I’d preferred the no exhaust look of the Hybrid than just a single tip.
Most seem to not talk about it. It's been on the Genesis for a while but doesn't seem that popular, in part some people don't want someplace somewhere storing their fingerprint and ID.

Nobody ever does a review on the sunroof and especially with it open while driving.
I like the lights

What was the tranny doing or how was it behaving when the problem
Started??
@@tonesmith909 The DCT has some issues it seems (not super uncommon across brands, but the Hybrid does not use the DCT)
How do the shocks absorb bad road surfaces?

Hope the hybrids do better than what im hearing from the turbos
Both are turbos
The transmission is the issue not the engine
I have the 2021 with the DCT with 35000 miles with no issues, very quick and as smooth as the day I bought it

Need more terracotta orange ones in the hybrid calligraphy. Very Hard to find
Hello from Chattanooga, Tennessee. It's a great looking suv. I wished that it had more engine options like a turbo v6 or a turbo diesel. 😁😉 17:56

I love it 😍 😊
I love how the back looks! The low tail lights sets it apart from all the cookie cutters
What about the finger print scanner?

The Calligraphy does have the finger print scanner.
Still waiting for my hybrid calligraphy. Inventory is hard to come by with Hybrids still.
FYI I was able to get one at MSRP through the Costco buying program. Waited 2 months.
1.6 L engine with a big body. Hard pass!
2.5L turbos here in the states is the only offering. Its adequate but not impressive.
I would wait till they fix their transmission issues and have a stable transmission.
Transmission issues seem to be on the standard gas model. I haven’t heard any issues with the hybrid model since they use different displays.
@@ob1spyker Correct, the hybrid uses the 6 speed transmission, not the 8 speed DCT that the ICE models have. A big deciding factor for me.
