Listen y'all, Point Break is a masterpiece. Straight up. I love the direction of it for real. Call the plot silly if you want, but I disagree. I think the execution makes it work. I was hoping for a 4k and I can't wait.
Last Man Standing is a very underrated Bruce Willis / Walter Hill movie in my mind... and while I do love Last Boy Scout (which does have a single disc rel here in Denmark) Last Man Standing have been on my wanted list for quite some time as a single disc rel.
I am so excited about Clue. I saw this movie a few months ago for the first time in my 45 years of life. It was an instant classic and a Day 1 pre-order.
Nice video. I'm the artist that designed the outside art for the Point Break 4k steelbook. I'm a huge fan of the film and wanted to do something that other fans would appreciate. And yes, the best on foot chase scene ever to be on film and so many other great moments and dialogue! Love everything about Point Break and I hope you enjoy the steelbook.
@@4K_Kings Possibly. In the last few years I've created art for some Shout Collector Editions titles. Drag Me to Hell, The Oh, God! Collection, Brewster's Millions. So great to see that physical media still has some great fans out there!
I pre ordered both the steelbook and standard edition for Point Break, one of my all time favorites. You can certainly laugh at Keanu’s terrible acting, but that’s true of all his movies and doesn’t detract from the charm of this film. My memory of JFK is my mom falling asleep in the theater and snoring throughout most of it. Haven’t seen it since…
Last Boy Scout, is head and shoulders better than any other movie he's ever made. I'll die on that hill. My copy is a stand alone dvd so old it has a plastic back and the front cover is fold over cardboard.
He being Bruce Willis? He's one of my top 20 favorite actors. I love The Last Boy Scout, but I still think his best acting performance has to be Unbreakable! He undoubtedly has one of the best runs/streaks of films ever in the late 80s 90s. One right after the other: brilliant. And yes, I'm including Mortal Thoughts, Striking Distance and Color of Night. 😆 I do think Die Hard is his penultimate but I kind of want to agree with you about Boy Scout. 😈 Talk about range, though he played the most epic toxic masc here and followed it up with the wimpy doctor in Death Becomes Her. He's great! In case you mean Tony Scott, agreed though Man on Fire is a near (neglected) mini-masterpiece.
@@madrouter I was referring to Bruce. Tony Scott is a whole other conversation of great movies. Man on fire with Denzel is a masterpiece. No arguments at all on that one.
@@box510motorcycles3 I love both you guys and own that snapper case Last Boy Scout DVD also... Agree wholeheartedly about Scott and Man on Fire also, I'll even go more controversial and say I prefer Tony over Ridley... Great call on Death Becomes Her also, Willis was always game and that's one reason he was great. He didn't HAVE to do Pulp, Sixth Sense, 12 Monkeys and a bunch of others yet he did, and him committing is what got them made. Bruce is a legend.
They pushed The Ring Collection out to March 2024 because it sounds like Gore Verbinski wanted to be more involved with the treatment, which is super exciting to me (and for fans of the original).
Last Man Standing is a semi decent Walter Hill flick and a remake of Akira Kurosawa's Yojimbo. That being said I too would much rather have The Last Boy Scout as a stand alone 4K release. I've always loved that movie as well as The Long Kiss Goodnight.
I grabbed the ring bluray last year. I couldn't say no to that sweet vhs slip. I'm glad i did, because it's a good-looking blu on my oled, and having to buy those sequels is horse shit.
If this included an Anthony Kiedis commentary it would have saved physical media permanently. "In this scene, Kathryn Bigelow sloppa-loppa-kibba-loppa-don-don-danged and I just wanted to return to my trailer and do heroin..."
I like JFK... I believe Matt would also, maybe more than me... I don't think it's as good as Platoon, Born on the 4th, or Natural Born Killers off the top of my head. I'd also put The Doors above it, but I'm biased as that was my favorite band as a kid.

Yup Point Break is one of the best Bigelow directed movies
Another great video. Had me cracking up. And Russ, show Road House some love, man.
fan of JFK right here!

100% Utah
Shout is headed for a nice little run here. I gotta pick up Fargo, Point Break, Clue, and JFK
Clue is a stone cold classic, brilliant ensemble and Tim Curry is just glorious as always. Day 1 get for me.
I love Clue. I pre-ordered it. The second ending is probably my favorite.
Tons of excitement for Clue in 4K. I just pre-ordered it as I had not heard it was coming until I watched this. All the Clue content PLEASE!
Glad to see so many Clue fans!

@jlam715 Those are great titles. Any hint on what studio Killer Klowns is for?

L.A.W. is so great in the masterpiece LIFE STINKS.... wet keanu is worthy of purchase day 1
She's underrated... A Night in Heaven is so goddamn good also, maybe not as it was intended to be, but damn is it fun.

Already pre-ordered Point Break, never owned it on any format. I will get Clue too, even though I have never seen it.
You won't be disappointed!
I pre ordered Clue as soon as it was available
F yeah, Stuart!
Honestly, I love the ring 2 and I like most trash so I'm excited to get all three Ring movies!

Point Break over Roadhouse any day.
I thought The Dead Zone was really good. The last boy scout was sooo good crazy over the top and funny.

Up through Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, you really can't go wrong with Shane Black... I'm a fan of Long Kiss as well.
I also enjoyed the Nice Guys@@russceasetheruss5360

Yea if only the jfk wasn't purely propaganda right. Hence why it's loaded.
I think I get what you're saying, but I don't view it as propaganda... more conspiracy theorist if anything.
