No need to switch hand to make the left side for holds fast. All you have to do is twist the second part of the chain before you dangle it in your left finger and that will give you left side holds fast. Try it and see.
For those that needed to know how to have BOTH LOOPS be winners, here's how it was done. (Thanks to a few replays): David Davison I just reversed engineered the solution. Instead of the chain hanging straight down at the start and then lifting and placing the other end on the finger without twists, you place it on your left finger and then take the bottom end with your right hand and TWIST it 180 degrees BEFORE it goes on your finger with the first end. THEN proceeded to perform the twist with his FINGER through the top as before with the "one of each" outcome only this time because of the extra twist at the BOTTOM of the chain as well as the top, you will have TWO WINNING LOOPS! NOTE: 12/27/2020 edited and a clarification: One loop will hold fast the traditional way while the other loop will hold fast with a bulky link within the catch.
Hey, I figured out an easier way for the BOTH LOOPS: No transfer needed. It’s not necessary. Like I mentioned before place the chain on your finger and then take the bottom and twist it 180 degrees before it also gets placed on your finger as well. Now just perform the twist of the chain at the TOP as shown in this video, before you place the chain on the table. The chain will hold fast with either loop but if you look at the chain before you pull it, you’ll see there is a LINK in the chain instead of it running smooth throughout. Watch the video when the chain catches the man’s finger. You’ll see a link in the chain that wasn’t there the other times that were played. Does that help?
There's another way you can arrange it with this hold: When you're first hanging the loops on the finger, put a half-twist in one of them. Then put the other finger straight through, like you would if you wanted both sides to be loose. The result is that one side is fast, the other is loose, but the sides are switched: If you were holding the chain in your right hand, the right side will be fast. I think it's a good way to mix it up so the pattern is harder to catch. For one, you're putting the other finger through the same way as when you're cheating. And also, you're switching which side is fast when you're doing it fair.

@lypsoh. I've moved on to another chain pattern. It's in bob farmers book flim flam conglomeration, and johnny Thompson mentions it in his video. I think it's better because I can control wins and losses a hundred percent of the time. And if you study this pattern, don't listen to the pros who say there's no convincers for this pattern because there certainly are. I've held a crowd for 20 to 30 minutes with this, there was that much interest in it

A setup was shown to have both sides be loose, and one for each side to be fast. However, is there a setup you can do to make both sides hold fast as well to guarantee they win no matter which side they pick? Or was there some other trick he had up his non-existent sleeves to force a win for that last round?

I made up my own trick kinda i'm sure someone else has done something similar but I figured it out on my own. the trick is I show them that the deck is in no specific order and give them half the deck and tell them to shuffle it a bit then take out a card and memorize it then they keep the card but you switch the halfs of the deck and have them put their card in then shuffle it. Then you take back their half and put them together and go through and pull out their card. The way it works is before hand the deck is set so the top half has all the red cards with sharp topped numbers and black cards with round topped numbers. Unless they know how it is set before hand they won't be able to see it. then doing the trick first you show them the cards are not in order and doing this you find the split between the 2 halfs of the deck then they take their red sharp or black round out of the top half and put it into your red round and black sharp bottom half. then you look through and find their card. I find it helps to keep saying in your head when you see a red card say red round when you see a black one say black sharp and when you find the one that doesn't match you pull it out and because of the way it is split they can't tell it is sorted.

I don’t agree with the last “I guarantee ur gonna win” phase because ur just letting them know it’s not a fair choice and ur in control the entire time. It’s kinda like doing a bunch of card tricks for the same person and forcing the same card on them for every trick. At that point they know that their card selection isn’t random and ur gonna kill the magic

This other guy is right but there is a way to do it better and it will look very similar to the other setups with having to primp it like he does in the video. Took me a couple minutes to learn it myself and now I'm able to use it to scam people.
