Have you guys considered doing a commentary track version of this detailing the writing, shooting, and effects choices you make in this movie? I'm really fascinated by these kinds of projects and I really wanna know more about it

If you need confirmation on how close this is to the original, I was watching this in my computer room and my gf came in and asked why I was watching Harry Potter again after watching it last night.
I have no idea how to properly express how much my family loves this project and movie but gosh darn it i'm going to try my best Somehow this movie came up on my feed and instantly i knew i would have to show my siblings. We have spent the entirety of our preholiday celebrations watching this to completion. And then rewatching our favorite clips. We find it absolutely hilarious. We spent the last few days running around, quoting our favorite lines. Making ourselves laugh over and over again by shouting things like "lyrical spherical FUCKING yellow." Over one of our dinners we ended up having a full blown discussion over how it is crazy they didnt get expelled at the end of the first movie and how much production value and care went into this remake project bc omg we keep losing it over the gags and details we notice I have no idea what sparked you guys into deciding to undergo this project but thank you! Its the best thing that we have seen all year and we absolutely love it. We are going to be adding Harry Potter and the Stone into our holiday Harry Potter movie marathons from now on
I love how the music throughout the movie is absolutely beautifully made, faithful recreations of the original soundtrack, and then the rest of it is just college students messing around in wigs for two hours
I remember always trying to get my friends to do stuff like this. Anytime we did we always had a blast and everyone agreed it was so fun, but then we’d never do it again or everyone would flake on doing it again.

And idk why but im like equally amazed with the redone soundtrack like how did you get the whole movies background music so fucking perfect for every scene through out this whole movie it seriously blows my mind how long did this take to film
it wasn’t until watching this version that I became aware that Hagrid really did just blast into the Dudley’s self-imposed witness protection house, call them all a slur and then deform their son.
This reminds me of the movie "Be Kind, Rewind" style of movie making, and I love the effort that went into making this, WELL DONE, 150 points to DOGGIE HOUSE!!!!
Unironically a great remake. The fact this was all done by a group of 12 students is insane. Mad respect for remaking of the sound track BY EAR, the sound effects and getting every frame right. Also a really creative use of models and green screens, great line delivery and funny jokes and references throughout. You can tell how much effort and fun has gone into this project, really hope you guys will do another movie sometime!

As a filmmaker and Harry Potter fan, I just have to say this is absolutely fantastic. The script modifications are witty and add so much subtle, yet hilarious moments- especially for those who know the original movie word by word. Now, the special effects are in a world of their own. The amount of time to plan, film, and track & composite these shots is not a quick and easy task, let alone in a shot-for-shot remake. Equally as good of a soundtrack to go with it ties it together nicely. This is absolutely OUTSTANDING work and I enjoyed every second of watching it. Kudos to you guys!
Damn. It’s 3:00AM and I’m supposed to be going to bed because I have work later. I’m 40 minutes in, and don’t want to stop watching. This is genuinely amazing.
My favorite part about this is the exclusion of the entire Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff houses lol, taking them away really didn’t take away anything from the story
Luna Lovegood was from Ravenclaw and she played a big part in the books and last movies. So did the diadem of Ravina Ravenclaw that the Grey Lady hid. Lol so yeah pretty’s important

My favorite type of film and theatre. It’s so awesome the creativity people have when they have a small budget. Much more imagination than million dollar films and broadway productions
Thank you, Zac !
But heavily emphasize low budget more in the blend

If you need confirmation on how close this is to the original, I was watching this in my computer room and my gf came in and asked why I was watching Harry Potter again after watching it last night.
There should be a new trend where u show people who never watched Harry Potter this version
My girlfriend was upstairs and came down to tell me she thought the neighbors were watching Harry Potter 😂
I have no idea how to properly express how much my family loves this project and movie but gosh darn it i'm going to try my best
Somehow this movie came up on my feed and instantly i knew i would have to show my siblings. We have spent the entirety of our preholiday celebrations watching this to completion. And then rewatching our favorite clips. We find it absolutely hilarious. We spent the last few days running around, quoting our favorite lines. Making ourselves laugh over and over again by shouting things like "lyrical spherical FUCKING yellow." Over one of our dinners we ended up having a full blown discussion over how it is crazy they didnt get expelled at the end of the first movie and how much production value and care went into this remake project bc omg we keep losing it over the gags and details we notice
I have no idea what sparked you guys into deciding to undergo this project but thank you!
Except for the scene were they go through the trapdoor.
I really wish I had a group of friends who were this committed to the bit
Right? The strongest emotion I'm feeling right now is sadness that I went through uni and didn't attempt this 😩
