I ilked Dave!!! Bought my 1st Retro 176 thru him!! He was a good guy. I remember when Vintage King let him go. Sad news when I heard he passed away!!! Thanks for a nice tribute to him!! I love these stories you have!!
What a nice tribute to Dave. I started talking with Dave back in the early 2000s. Vintage King was one of my accounts. Spoke with Dave many times through the years and visited vintage King and got to hang out with Dave a few times. A real nice guy. He left his way too early.
Yes he was. We often used to talk a bit about the gear we had collected through the years. I know he had a Stephens 2 in machine. I believe he also told me he had one of the modules from the strawberry studios Helios console, amongst other things. I wonder where all of his gear ended up?

He probably sold them - he knew a thing or two about selling gear ;-)
