Carmen was excellent I thought apart from the only bum note I ever heard from her in the second verse! Mirusia was nervous at the start I think and I could only really hear Carla at the end. They had little time to rehearse this one and none of them had sung it before. There is a much better quality clip of this elsewhere on YT but that odd bum note is still there Carmen! Well at least that shows they do sing live!
A gift of the heaven's ... a beautifully written an performed piece. The words and music are superb. The Hebrew version sung by soldiers of the IDF is aw inspiring look it up!

Personally, I think this is the single most lovely, emotional piece of music I've ever heard, with the audience joining in. The woman in the last chorus, wiping her tears, expresses my feelings perfectly. The glorious soprano heights, again particularly in that last chorus, drain my tear ducts every time I hear the piece. (PS "outdrew" from wild west gunfight, as in he who draws gun first kills he who draws second.)
Thanks. I was thinking in terms of a poker game where one of the players "drew" a better hand then me, thereby winning the pot. Then I, being a poor sport, just shot him. In the gunfight analogy, as depicted by Hollywood, it was usually the bad guy who drew first (out drew) and missed while the good guy, responding to the threat, scores a hit.

Anyone notice the members of the orchestra in red jackets. I think they are all special needs. So wonderful for them to be part of this.
