Join Mr. Christopher Chavez, as he shares his wisdom and perspective on history, heritage, and the relationship between horses and Native Peoples. Mr. Christopher Chavez is a researcher, tribal historian, and Tribal Historic Preservation Officer for the Pueblo of Kewa/Santo Domingo in the Rio Grande Valley of New Mexico. In addition to a lifetime of experience with horses, he holds a Baccalaureate and Master's degree in American Studies from the University of New Mexico. Mr. Chavez's research explores issues of cultural heritage and language preservation in the Pueblo community.
