At the end of this episode, once the situation with Rick's deceased sister is resolved, Magnum tries to, once again, catch up on his sleep. Before he does so, however, we find Higgins flying his now repaired airplane early in the morning again outside Magnum's window, minus Agatha this time. Annoyed by this, Magnum goes outside to approach Higgins regarding his loud plane. As the camera focuses in on Higgins' plane, it suddenly explodes. The camera then pans back to Magnum, who ended up destroying the RC plane with a shotgun! A classic moment in a timeless series!

I only ever saw Magnum P.I. in Italian (whenever I cared to watch it for a few seconds as a kid). I must say his dubbed Italian voice matches that wonderful hairy chest much better than his actual voice.
Really do miss John Hillerman, bless him! He was awesome as Mr. Higgins (especially for a Texan being able to imitate a British accent)! And Magnum... you've earned this hilarious victory!

Between the Beach Boys song "Hawaii", Hawaii Five-O, Magnum, & a box of Mauna Loa chocolate macadamias....been sold on Hawaii ever since. At least 20 trips there & each time I remember or think about the Magnum show. Sure, a "little" silly & the end was always the same, it sure was fun. Still enjoy it on dvd! The closest Tom got to be Thomas Magnum in Blue Bloods was in one scene the family having dinner, then they started to argue profusely... Tom did a 'Magnum goofy grimace face' as he did on his old show... I fanboyed big time... :D

This is pure Magnum Pi, and awesome character chemistry.... Saw the reboot and it is just another 'rebooted Hawaii 5-0 clone' (thanks to the involvement of Peter Lenkov), with different cast. Jay Hernandez is good, but wrong for the leading role as Thomas Sullivan Magnum, not because of his ethnicity, but because he is too short and not opposing in size to be like a protector as how Tom Selleck was... As the character has to be big and strong in stature as the name itself.
pity u didnt add the final scene of that episode. magnum wakes late as usual, higgins is playing again with his flying toy. without saying anything, magnum gets on the grass and fires the plane with a double barrelled rifle, and then get back to sleep. all in silence.
Why does Magnum walk from the main house side of the grounds rather than the opposite direction, where his guest house is located?! Oh, he was sleeping in the hedges? I see now.
Higgins: "I'm in command of the RAF. Agatha has been gracious enough to accept to be taking the thankless job of the Nazi side." Me: bruh you look like Adolf Hitler to me...
Doos anyone know why these episodes of Magnum are only available on paid TV? Other series like the A-Team cab be seen all the time and everywhere.
