Christmas at the D and E house: “Here you go kids. It might even run.”
My bet is that in a few years D and E will get his daughter’s prom dress from a pile by the road. 😁😁
haha.. you aint far off bud
@@DEInTheGarageI’ve dated a lot of women with father issues I highly recommend you don’t go cheep on the prom dress. Truly cheeper than a therapist or rehab
It sure is nice to see content being made on this channel that may be beneficial to the executive producer. Nice job Bud....
Check your local landfill, too. I work at a landfill and people drop them off almost every day. We have a no salvageing rule, it's mainly for the scrap metal and electronics, but we let people take them.
I found that Barbie Jeep for my daughter too and she has a blast with it. Now to add some rubber for her.
Excellent daddy advice.
maybe a heatgun to the plastics might restore some of the color on them
I should definitely try that on the Yamaha styled one. Good call bud.
Fixed quite a few Barbie Jeeps over the years, my favorites
Sir, I am sorry to say I am one of those guys the glamour Dad as we may put it, but I do not just glamour as in put lights in it or digital voltmeter on there. I go as far as giving it more horsepower I do have to say my kids did love it I bow my head in shame for that 😂 what put in Weedwhacker engines or something along those lines in one of those things is quite fun
I wish I had this video a year ago.
Did you see the two women who are driving kids battery powered cars from Jax Florida to Key West for a Gunnies World record ?? They want to do over 500 miles in one and they are already over 100 miles in.
You serious?! This I gotta see!!!
Grate video. I am with you those things are expensive (new). Bought my kid about 6 of them but all used, around 10-20 bucks each, they looked like new but all needed batteries, tires, or switches going bad. For the tires did the same thing and put bike tires from Wallyworld but I was afraid if I used screws they would come out in the yard or in the driveway and puncture a car tire so, went to Harbor Freight and bought some sheepo rivet packs and used to rivets to secure the tires, non of the rivets have come out so far. For the battery have Dewalt 20v tools at home, so I did buy the adapters on Amazon, and they did have 14awg wire so no issues there. I also bought the (DC Motor Speed Controller for Power Wheel PWM) from Amazon since my kid was 2 when he started driving, the full 20v was too much for the small kido. Using the speed controller I could dial him down to about 1mph until he got the hang of it and slowly increased his speed as he has gotten older. I imagine once his around 5 I will that it out the speed controller.
I am definitely going to try rivets sometime!
Drill out the drain hole a little larger
