Ladies and gentlemen, I just want to put a quick pinned comment in here regarding some of the discrepancies that have been pointed out since this video was published. Here goes: - There is a part 2 to this mini video series where a lot of discrepancies are addressed. You can check it out here (highly recommend you do): ruclips.net/video/zBZwaFBjLR0/видео.html - To find your userconfig file, please check the description section of the video as there are paths there that might help you find your file location - PLEASE ENSURE YOU TURN IMAGE SCALING 'OFF' IN THE NVC. THE ADVISE IN THE VIDEO WAS MISGUIDED IN THAT REGARD! Do let me know if you have any more questions, as I continue to answer your comments on a regular basis. Thanks for watching guys, and thanks for Flying By!
I have the Microsoft Store edition and the path for UserCfg.opt was different than you mention in your description: C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache
Oh my god, what is this witchcraft? My sim is now at the same time WAY more gorgeous and much more fluid! So sad that I can only leave a single like. I also second what others have written before, you have an amazing, calm, well organised, and easy to understand way of presenting things.
Hahaha well, it's called the FlyBy Simulations witchcraft mate. Glad it helped you and truly appreciate the warm words. Nevertheless, if you enjoy the content on the channel, do consider subscribing and giving the video a like to be part of the FlyBy Simulations community - would love to have you!
I've tried a lot of settings recommended by other folks, with incremental results. Your step-by-step guidance has completely transformed my experience. The simulator now runs and looks like the Microsoft advertising videos. Thank you! 😊
Hey Rick, thanks for the warm comment. Super glad that your sim now looks and runs great :) Nevertheless, if you enjoy the content on the channel, do consider subscribing and giving the video a like to be part of the FlyBy Simulations community - would love to have you!
I have to say this is by far one of, if not the best settings video I have seen. The information was concise and extremely well organized. Your explanations were clear and well articulated. You can tell a considerable amount of time and effort went into creating it. Well done, and thank you for sharing. 😀
That's really sweet of you to say Miro! I did spend a lot of time and effort in trying to make this the best settings guide on RUclips, and I'm very glad the results are paying off :) Nevertheless, if you enjoy the content on the channel, do consider subscribing and giving the video a like to be part of the FlyBy Simulations community - would love to have you!
I can say without any doubt that the combination of increased performance and improved graphic output I have seen since trying out the settings today is astonishing! This is the biggest single improvement I have seen in the sim since I started using it two years ago. Amazing! After just a half-hour of tweaking, its like I'm using a monster PC or an entirely different sim. Certainly an eye-opening experience. You deserve a proper congratulations for bringing our attention to this. Wow, and thanks so much!!
Thank you so much for your kind words Kirt! Glad I was able to help you out:) Nevertheless, if you enjoy the content on the channel, do consider subscribing and giving the video a like to be part of the FlyBy Simulations community - would love to have you!
This is a pretty good guide and I appreciate your tinkering abilities. After following fs2020 simmers and q8pilot I noticed that my decent pc was suffering with low fps, stutters etc. They were essentially providing advice that was not helping me. In fact, one of the channels used your advice on A.filtering and setting it to 16x in the NVCP vs the sim. Funny that it happened after you made a video. Good work here. I agree with the philosophy that less is more. Their advice (I should have known better) was not helpful for me. Instead, I reset everything to default and high performance and I get my FPS back. So again, thank you. I appreciate when people like you take the time and are honest about their PC and results. Not all of us have ridiculous monster computers.
Super glad to be able to do what other flight sim RUclipsrs couldn't in this regard mate. Great to see your system is performing well now. Nevertheless, if you enjoy the content on the channel, do consider subscribing and giving the video a like to be part of the FlyBy Simulations community - would love to have you!
You sir, are a graphics settings genius. I just bought a new pc with an I7-12700k and Rtx4070 card, moved my sim over to it and the graphics were shocking. Used the tweaks in your video and now it looks amazing. You've got yourself one more subscriber here.
I have to say thanks a million for this settings guide. I followed your settings to the T (dialing back on the discrepancies :)) and have been slowly adjusting back to where I was except for a few very important changes to improve the sharpness and overall quality as suggested by you. I suffered greatly from lag and stuttering and the real change for me happened in the Nvidia control panel anisotropic filter change. A literal game changer. Many thanks!
Hey Chris, super glad to hear I made a positive difference for you :) Nevertheless, if you enjoy the content on the channel, do consider subscribing and giving the video a like to be part of the FlyBy Simulations community - would love to have you!
Varun, I cannot say this enough... "Thank you, Thank you, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!" for creating and sharing this video. Your style is so easy to follow and understand, and I absolutely appreciate 🙏 you and your channel. Wishing you all the very best sir. You deserve it! 😊
Oh my god Glenn, this comment means the world to me. You're very kind and I will strive to continue to bring quality flightsim content for the community for as long as I can :)
I've been using the sim for over a year, the difference with your settings is quite astonishing and so much better. As I have a 3060ti the only setting I had different was the TAA to the DLSS sampling due to a bit of judder, now it's very smooth and the extra detail is amazing, even quality smooth clouds, thanks very much.
Varun , your Western Australian Captain, Again so well thought out I have struggled with these settings for a while now congratulations " The legend steps in again " and throws a life jacket to people like myself so good to catch up my trusted friend. Sincere best wishes Captain M.N. retired Robert.
Heyyy Robert! My god has it been a while since I've seen you. Hope my favourite retired captain has been doing well and enjoying the virtual skies :)) Do stay in touch as you have a tendency to disappear for months on end haha.
I don’t often comment but today your settings guide has transformed my sim - with both stunning visual and performance improvements. It’s not often in life where you get both. Thank you so much. I had been battling to get my sim into a sweet spot and you’ve nailed it. I would like to say that I ended up turning off the global image rescaling as my screen is 1440p and turning it on produced some shimmering / anti aliasing issues which didn’t look right. Turning off the resizing in the nvidia control panel did not affect the performance and kept the visuals looking phenomenal.
Thank you so much Rhett - Glad I could help you out. I address the shimmering and such in my latest video if you want to check it out:) Nevertheless, if you enjoy the content on the channel, do consider subscribing and giving the video a like to be part of the FlyBy Simulations community - would love to have you!
I use to play MSFS 2004 with 128MB GPU on my Intel Core 2 Duo. But couldn't continue when I stepped in the professional life. But now resuming back, your video has made thought process so easy. I'm about to get a System with Intel i7 14th Gen 14700K and Gigabyte 4070ti OC with Water Cooled 64GB DDR5 RAM and 1Tb SSD. Keep up the good work, you have got one more subscriber.
Absolutely phenomenal settings guide & I'm sure this guide would help 99.9% + users improve there experience with the sim, from the community we cannot thank you enough
Thank you so much Dev - words like these make my so motivated to keep making better videos :) Nevertheless, if you enjoy the content on the channel, do consider subscribing and giving the video a like to be part of the FlyBy Simulations community - would love to have you!
Thank you so much! My PC now runs MSFS 2020 as smooth as silk with fantastic clarity! My system is a scratch-built PC (8 years old), Intel i7 with 16MB RAM and an Nvidia 3060 with 12MB RAM running the latest driver and using 4K resolution. The two tweaks using the Nvidia control panel worked wonders without any fuss. FYI: I went through the 2020 FSER's RUclips channel that made countless changes to the Windows settings and the Nvidia control panel which gave my system severe stuttering. For the first time since MSFS 2020 was released, I can fully enjoy the sim without building a new PC nor purchasing another graphic card! Thanks again!!!!!!
I agree with the other viewer about you messing up GB and MB haha, but thank you so much for your kind words! Nevertheless, if you enjoy the content on the channel, do consider subscribing and giving the video a like to be part of the FlyBy Simulations community - would love to have you!
I'm speechless, thank you SO much for this guide... after all this time looking for videos and trying different ''tweaks'' NONE of them worked out but this one... HOLY SH! thanks so much brother. subbed
Fantastic, the one that did it for me was switching the Anisotropic filtering off in the SIM and on in Nvidia, this improved my LOD radius significantly.
EXACTLY MATE!! That one was huge for me too :)) Nevertheless, if you enjoy the content on the channel, do consider subscribing and giving the video a like to be part of the FlyBy Simulations community - would love to have you!
I was lucky enough to have the same spec PC with you, so your settings made ALL the difference to my experience as I was struggling to find the optimum setup. Thank you!
Glad to hear it mate! If you enjoy the content on the channel, do consider subscribing and giving the video a like to be part of the FlyBy Simulations community - would love to have you!
after about 4 months of unexpected simulator crashes 2 hours into flights, and noticing terrible stuttering, THIS was the video that made everything better. I suppose my only "cosmetic" complaint, and i guess it's more of a nuance and that can be adjusted personally, is the sharpness on some buildings. even then though, this actually helped me spot a runway in foggy conditions MUCH easier (I live in new england and tried to fly with the forest fires), which I suppose is more realistic. i never realized how much ambient occlusion was destroying how immersed I could be in this simulator.
Unlike other persons, when you looked at each item in the settings, you gave enough explanation to share exactly what aspect of the simulator it affects and with that - you have my vote! thank you I shall try these settings and make tweaks if necessary. ✔✔
I try my best to make my content relatable to as many as possible - glad it was helpful for you :) Nevertheless, if you enjoy the content on the channel, do consider subscribing and giving the video a like to be part of the FlyBy Simulations community - would love to have you!
I don't use to comment on videos, but I'm in the required to post on this awesome master piece... I've been strugleging with my MFS tryng to reach the best quality/performance settings and I've failed many times, from getting a error message from MFS that there was no memory available from unexpected quits. But today I think that a found the saint grail of MFS settings explanation and already I have two hours of flyng with an a exceptional quality/perfomance experience since I started flying on MFS2020... I have a gaming laptop with a i5 12th gen CPU, a RTX 3050, 500GB SSD and 16 GB of RAM. Also I have to say that the main changes were in Windows settings, NVIDIA Control Panel and general configuration in MFS such as all above Global Rendering Quality setting. Thank you so much! ✈🎊
Thank you so much Mario - Glad I could help :) Nevertheless, if you enjoy the content on the channel, do consider subscribing and giving the video a like to be part of the FlyBy Simulations community - would love to have you!
I’ve been struggling for months with constant freezing making msfs unplayable. Your settings have solved all my problems and looks great. Thanks for posting
If anyone was wondering if the settings still hold up, I can confirm it does! I'm using a 3070 and it plays like butter. Great video man, appreciate it!
I can't express how grateful I am! Everyone that plays the game needs to see this video - an increased visual output... while lessening performance impact!
Just needed to say Big Thank You. We almost have the same setup but I have the GTX 2060. Been looking and playing with the settings and have never gotten it right. Not only did your setup work, but is looks and runs great, didn't have to change anything. Plus I used the same settings for my Quest 2 and man what a difference looks great. Thanks again for showing your setup.
Glad I could help you out John! Nevertheless, if you enjoy the content on the channel, do consider subscribing and giving the video a like to be part of the FlyBy Simulations community - would love to have you!
followed your directions and tweaked my settings a bit for my own system... WOW !!! what a difference .. so smooth and the gfx are fantastic now... top notch video.. thank you
Thanks mate, this is by far the best msfs20 settings video I've seen. Extremely helpful, easy to follow and most importantly, Its improved my experience very nicely indeed.
No worries at all Neil - Glad I could help you out :) Nevertheless, if you enjoy the content on the channel, do consider subscribing and giving the video a like to be part of the FlyBy Simulations community - would love to have you!
There are several configurations, but it is well worth it. I am already seeing great results, thank you very much for your time and effort, congratulations!
This has been my reference video for my graphics settings in msfs. I feel the nvida control panel is really what helps the most in all this, but I'm not a computer expert, solid video!
I made these settings with rtx 3060 and the result is excellent, the game has changed, congratulations, I respect the effort, the image and clouds are realistic, thank you for your issue bravoooooo
Really truly glad to hear that mate! Clear skies :) Nevertheless, if you enjoy the content on the channel, do consider subscribing and giving the video a like to be part of the FlyBy Simulations community - would love to have you!
So, after setting up MSFS as suggested in the video I decided to test things with my newer pc and my new 4k monitor flying at night with a clear sky and the moon in the distance into KSFO. Holy crap! I couldnt believe my eyes. Very clear and very smooth. Just about fell out of my chair. Way to go? Thank you so much.
Thank you so much for this awsome tutorial! I‘ve struggled with performance since buying MSFS, even though I have a high-end PC. Because of your settings i‘m getting 15-20 fps more, everything runs super smooth and it even looks better than before. Huge shoutout to you my man!
Thank you for your warm words Rich! Nevertheless, if you enjoy the content on the channel, do consider subscribing and giving the video a like to be part of the FlyBy Simulations community - would love to have you!
Was so excited to see you're using an alienware laptop,I have almost the same one. Only big difference is, I'm running 1440 on an ultra wide monitor. Looking forward to testing these settings next time I get into my sim!
Aah, nice. Well I have mine hooked up to a 1080p 24inch monitor - hopefully the settings helped :) Nevertheless, if you enjoy the content on the channel, do consider subscribing and giving the video a like to be part of the FlyBy Simulations community - would love to have you!
I'm so thankful I found your channel and this tutorial. I have a 10th gen i9 Intel, BenQ 2k monitor, and RTX-2060 Super, and these settings were spot on and made my game enjoyable again. Especially as a low-and-slow flyer. The only thing I didn't change was the UserCfg.opt, but my display is still perfectly fine (only because I think one of those settings can be changed via MSFS options panel?). I had some screen jitter at first, but I deleted my rolling cache and jitter gone. Most importantly, cities that have poor photogrammetry, such as London UK, improved by 80-90%. London used to continuously show melted buildings and transformer trees no matter how many times you flew over, but these settings also corrected that issue. You have a new sub and no doubt your channel will surpass 100k. Keep 'em coming and thanks again!
One of the best (if not the) videos I've found. Every setting is working like a charm on my laptop except for the image scaling on the Nvidia CP which strangely produces jagged lines everywhere in full screen (not in windowed mode). Thanks for the detailed guide.
That's really sweet of you to say Miro! I did spend a lot of time and effort in trying to make this the best settings guide on RUclips, and I'm very glad the results are paying off :) As for the image scaling setting, it seems to have created a little bit of confusion. I personally leave it "OFF" now, so I suggest you do the same. Nevertheless, if you enjoy the content on the channel, do consider subscribing and giving the video a like to be part of the FlyBy Simulations community - would love to have you!
Thank you so much Jonathan! Glad I could help:) Nevertheless, if you enjoy the content on the channel, do consider subscribing and giving the video a like to be part of the FlyBy Simulations community - would love to have you!

Hi just revisited this having a new PC. Excellent as always! One thing I noticed recently was that my graphics seemed to lose the sharpness without any obvious change I had made. Going through your video I checked in Windows the HAG settings and realised this has become turned on. Switching it off led me back the the sharpness and clarity. Glad I saw your video again!!
Glad I could help mate! Nevertheless, if you enjoy the content on the channel, do consider subscribing and giving the video a like to be part of the FlyBy Simulations community - would love to have you!
6 Months later I find this and wonder how I found a video that Ive been looking for forever along with almost the EXACT specs. Just a 2070 super (Runs faster than the 1080) and higher speed ram. Bravo
So, I followed your guide and used exact same settings (will tune later). Wow, what an instant improvement - went from 40-50fps to over 60fps with insanely improved quality, graphics and smoothness. I may just leave all as is without tuning... Thank you sir. You meantion about some colors tuning as well - will look forward for it.
I'm not overrating, but this is the best setting optimization guide I've found on the hole internet so far! It really feels like you know what you're talking about and it really helped improving my FPS while keeping a really decent quality. After that I also tweaked a few settings (as you recommended) like the shadow mapping and a few more and now it looks even more beautiful. I do not have the greatest PC (Ryzen 7 5800X, RX 6700XT, 32GB of 3600MH-CL16 RAM (2x16), a 2TB SSD from Kingston with 7000MB of reading and writing speed), but it is definitely in the mid-range and enough for those settings in the flight sim even though it is really performance hungry. I always thought you need a real high-end graphics card (like RX 7900XT(X) or even higher), but after this well-structured and really helpful guide I realized, that you don't even need that high settings to make the sim look this beautiful or if you want to have them maxed don't need such a powerful GPU if you know, where to tweak settings (and where not to). Thank you again for this really awesome guide!!! I hope you keep making this good videos. Good luck with your chanel and have fun! :)
Hello so good to see you again. Captain Robert from Perth Western Australia ocean going **Retired ** so good to see you maintaining your (Legend Status) I believe I read some where you were having health issues ? Sending forever and a day best wishes, my friend .Rob.

Thank you. I'm new to MSFS. With my decent home-built system, I couldn't understand why the sim was sometimes so choppy. Following your guide, all is now well. Thank you very much!
Brother I appreciate this video I also have a mid gaming laptop and this video has helped me enjoy my sim experience a lot more with out having to shell out more cash to upgrade my set up this 10k is the start of many successes for this awesome Channel
Thank you so much for your warm words brother, truly appreciate them. Yeah, hopefully we go far with this channel and people like you can join me in the journey :)
Thanks so so much. Made my sim look fantastic! 1080ti Ryzen 7 3700x 32gb ram on a dedicated ssd. Only difference is I lock my sim to 39fps and to help with my micro stutters I turned on VSync to fast and Low Latency on in the NVIDIA control panel program settings for MSFS. This has given me a solid 39fps even around EGBB in the Fenix and over big cities. Thank you!
Really glad to hear that mate! Stay tuned for Nvidia colour settings I'll be publishing soon as well :) Nevertheless, if you enjoy the content on the channel, do consider subscribing and giving the video a like to be part of the FlyBy Simulations community - would love to have you!

Thank you so much for the very informative video. Upgraded my "old" rig... i5 with a rtx3060 second hand card... and voila. from a terrible 15 fps. with fenix a320, to a lovely 25-30 fps.. which in my world is enough for a decent flightsim experience... thank you again. and a happy new year!!! greetings from Tenerife...

Brilliant work. Comprehensive but simple. It hasn't helped my severe stutters since Update 11 came along, but it has vastly improved my Display quality. Massive improvement, though fps remains about the same at 45-50 fps. The best part of all your work is that you have gone to the trouble to explain what each setting actually does, and I haven't seen anyone else do that, so I will continue to tweak settings now with more knowledge now of what they actually do within the sim. I could not find the "UserConfig.opt" file anywhere on my system. Searched the whole of my C drive SSD, and my D drive "Scratch" SSD ( which had remnants of the many previous MSFS re-installations I have done. ) I download from MS each time ( takes about 6-8 hours as my cable internet here in Sydney is slowish at 50mbps), and I seem to need to do it every 3 months. But alas, the stutters are still with me. I always run MSFS in Admin mode to remove other programs and updates butting in, I have removed the Rolling Cache entirely, and removed many programs from the "startup" list. Nothing really helps. All my drivers are right up to date, I have repasted the CPU and GPU, re-filled the AIO chamber etc. I undervolt the GPU a little to keep temps down and remove any chance of throttling, and have set a temperature limit of 80 degrees C on the GPU. Nothing gets rids of those damn stutters. Up until Update 9 or 10, I never had them at all. I agree that TAA is better than DLSS 2, and with most of your reasoning on other matters , though I am certainly no expert like you and not qualified to agree or disagree. My system : Ryzen 7-5800X, Nvidia RTX 3080 (OEM version not FE), 3 x 2tb SSD, 1 x 8TB HDD, MSI X570S Max Wifi motherboard, ! x 32inch Xaimo curved monitor running at 144mhz refresh rate , and 1 x old crappy 12 inch moniitor for diagnostic and monitoring programs and ATC and Nav sub-menus. Thanks again. You are Gold Standard.
Thank you so much for your kind words Howard! I try my best to be as comprehensive and detailed as possible. As for the userconfig.opt file, the latest video on my channel has a comment in the comments section that shows perfectly how to find it. Nevertheless, if you enjoy the content on the channel, do consider subscribing and giving the video a like to be part of the FlyBy Simulations community - would love to have you!
Oh my god, i would highly recommand tu use Ultra windshield effect instead of just High, it creates actual reflection from the dash to the windshield, this is a must for Immersion.
Hmm, well for me personally, those reflections cost performance and I'd rather not use them. If your system allows the overhead, by all means! Nevertheless, if you enjoy the content on the channel, do consider subscribing and giving the video a like to be part of the FlyBy Simulations community - would love to have you!
Thank you for this…this is a great complete walkthrough from PC settings through Userfile through msfs settings….and not sure what change particularly solved it but the micro stuttering i have had since update 11 is almost completely gone ! It was extremely frustrating when trying to land. Thank you again !!!!!
No worries at all Grant! Glad to have helped out in some way at least :) Nevertheless, if you enjoy the content on the channel, do consider subscribing and giving the video a like to be part of the FlyBy Simulations community - would love to have you!
This was great, thanks so much! I have to say since I recently started playing MSFS 2020 my god, the visuals in this game blow my mind! The amount of detail and photo realism is incredible! I have a 10 year old PC but I upgraded to a 3060 just to play on high settings and it runs pretty good which is surprising. A lot better than my old GTX 680 hahaha.
You are amazing man! Followed all your settings, had to turn up quite a lot of settings to ultra that were on medium or lower at first so I was a bit worried that fps would be lower. But somehow I went from 45 fps to 59 with better looking visuals. You're a wizard man! Running a i7 10700k, rtx 3080, 32gb ram
Glad to be able to help you out Ananad! Nevertheless, if you enjoy the content on the channel, do consider subscribing and giving the video a like to be part of the FlyBy Simulations community - would love to have you!
This is the best video I have ever watched. It is very in-depth yet easy to follow, and your system almost perfectly matches mine. I have a R5 2600 with a 3060ti on a 1080p monitor, its so cool to see quality performance on a mid level computer. Thank you very much!
Thank you so much mate! Glad I could help out :) Nevertheless, if you enjoy the content on the channel, do consider subscribing and giving the video a like to be part of the FlyBy Simulations community - would love to have you!
Thank you for this very elaborated and well produced video, mate. A small advice for you, that I got from a guy who has much knowledge concerning VSync ( he is a technical Skyrim modder who makes performance and bug fixing mods): even with a GSync monitor you should have VSync on in your driver settings (not the game‘s). He sets it to „adaptive sync“ and „force on“ using NVidia inspector. It works well complementing the monitor‘s sync in those fps ranges where GSync doesn‘t work well. But if you‘re not experiencing screen tearing forget about it….. 😁👏👍 PS: artificial blurring (like motion blur, DoF) is unnecessary for me: I can always remove my glasses to achieve this effect without a single fps loss 🤪
Hey there mate, thank you for your comprehensive comment. I agree that Vsync can help and though I didn't go into too much detail about why I don't use it in this video, the simple reason is that I tried it and it just doesn't work right for me, and hence I decided to give it a skip personally... I completely agree with what you said about the artificial blurring though hahaha. Thanks for watching and supporting the channel though mate :)
@@FlyBySimulations you‘re welcome, mate. I gotta thank you, because you are one of the gems in the flightsim community who work their 💩👻 off giving us a lot of information, entertainment and joy. My best wishes from your subscriber in Uruguay 🇺🇾♥️
Thank you so much mate! Words like this mean the world to me and I'll continue bringing high quality content on RUclips like I've been doing thus far :)
Great video! After upgrading to a used 3060 t1 and new i7 11700k from a 1050 ti and i7 4790k(was lucky to get 18 fps) I was looking forward to finally playing msfs the way it's supposed to be. Followed instructions and am getting 60 fps and beautiful scenery! Thank you.😀

I subscribed to your channel because of this video. I've been trying to get my settings right since 2020 came out. I used what was in this video and visuals are great. I only have a 1660 super and they work great. I haven't tried low level speed yet. That's when the shutters happen but like I said it looks great. Thank you.

I have the Microsoft Store edition and the path for UserCfg.opt was different than you mention in your description: C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache

@@Sluijsens life saver mate thank yopu!!!!
Also have the store edition but i couldn’t find it with your explanation either. Anyone that can help me?
Totally agree my micro stuttering is just about gone!!! Was so frustrating trying to land…thank you !!!
I need help it dose not look like yours😢
Exactly! Less is more! I just followed his setup, and I'm seeing day and night performance changes. Much smoother!
You sir, are a graphics settings genius. I just bought a new pc with an I7-12700k and Rtx4070 card, moved my sim over to it and the graphics were shocking. Used the tweaks in your video and now it looks amazing. You've got yourself one more subscriber here.
Haha thank you so much mate! Truly do appreciate the kind words and glad the video helped :)
Varun , your Western Australian Captain, Again so well thought out I have struggled with these settings
for a while now congratulations " The legend steps in again " and throws a life jacket to people like
myself so good to catch up my trusted friend.
These changes have made the sim so much more playable for me, on an old GTX 1080 ti, seriously the improvement is so noticable. A big thankyou.
I like so much that you appeal to the medium performance systems and not to the very small community of extremely high-end pcs.
Absolutely phenomenal settings guide & I'm sure this guide would help 99.9% + users improve there experience with the sim, from the community we cannot thank you enough

I think you’re mixing up MB and GB xD unless you really have such low RAM lol
Ahhhh....of course I meant GB!!!! LOL too!

I'm speechless, thank you SO much for this guide... after all this time looking for videos and trying different ''tweaks'' NONE of them worked out but this one... HOLY SH! thanks so much brother. subbed
Mate, glad I could help you out!
Fantastic, the one that did it for me was switching the Anisotropic filtering off in the SIM and on in Nvidia, this improved my LOD radius significantly.

this is truly the holy bible of settings and games. thankyou for this glorious gift.
after about 4 months of unexpected simulator crashes 2 hours into flights, and noticing terrible stuttering, THIS was the video that made everything better.

Just needed to say Big Thank You. We almost have the same setup but I have the GTX 2060. Been looking and playing with the settings and have never gotten it right.

Thank you!

Your wallpaper look so beautiful!! Nice video

Wow this has made a great difference to my sim and set-up. thanks for doing the vid . great job.
Oh my god, i would highly recommand tu use Ultra windshield effect instead of just High, it creates actual reflection from the dash to the windshield, this is a must for Immersion.

PS: artificial blurring (like motion blur, DoF) is unnecessary for me: I can always remove my glasses to achieve this effect without a single fps loss 🤪

I subscribed to your channel because of this video. I've been trying to get my settings right since 2020 came out. I used what was in this video and visuals are great. I only have a 1660 super and they work great. I haven't tried low level speed yet. That's when the shutters happen but like I said it looks great. Thank you.
