@cruelworldhappymind: I love how you called out Pearl Davis pandering to the Black Manosphere and throwing black women under the bus. I love your deep dives. I can listen to your soothing voice for hours.- Namaste-
Women today get away with so much shit. I as a man have ever cheated on any GF even when I was cheated on. I know women who are having other men raise children that are not biologically theirs. Women CAN'T biologically think like a man does. Just look at your emotional response to a woman being herself and probably making more money than you. You know she doesn't believe all the manosphere crap. She is making a living just like all those fake manosphere garbage. I am a confident, strong, loyal, man who knows a lasting relationship is one where you both make each other better. Equals at times but sometimes the man makes the call and women step up just the same.
The way she talks about her mother reminds me of a quote from Bonnie Burstow: "Often father and daughter look down on mother together. They exchange meaningful glances when she misses a point. They agree that she is not as bright as they are, cannot reason as they do. This collusion does not save the daughter from the mother's fate."
This was my older sister and biological father. Bio father not only abused my mother himself, but pretty much groomed my older sister to do the same to Mom and me. My mother had to disown her for my safety when I was 14 because the abuse was truly that serious. Still hate my bio sister for all the abuse, but I can now recognize, as an adult, how she was manipulated by that man.
I am the traditional woman Pearl speaks about. My husband and I waited till our wedding night; we started a family fairly young (mid 20s); I am a stay at home mom who left my teaching career to homeschool my kids. I live simply. I LOVE being a stay at home mom and homemaker. And I can tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt that my husband would NEVER treat me the way she says men should treat women. I am as traditional as they come and I would NOT put up with abuse, cheating, mistreatment, and being seen as a less valuable human. These red pill men say they want traditional women, but as a traditional women- I can say- I would never want their treatment
People overlook the very dangerous rhetoric that she keeps pushing. That women should not have the right to vote. Anybody thinking it's no big deal that some people on the internet talk about it. Look up the female Parliament representatives in Iran in 1970. They went from being women in office, to having zero job, zero right to vote, wearing a burka. And while the conservative, red pill, Kool aid drinkers of this country would like to claim they're nothing like muslim people, they would love to see a version of that here
I agree. I’m from Asia, and I come from a very traditional household. My mom quit her job to take care of me and my sister. My parents argued, which I think it’s normal, but my mom always said he is her protector and they are together 24/7. My father always respected her. Never once he acted like what those red pills or Pearl said.
@@Sing_A_Rebel_Song I tend to agree. Very few things give off more desperate and pathetic energy, not to mention comes across as a huge turn off like being a pick me girl.
That seems to be the case. It seems that Pearl tried her hand out in the business world, found out she can’t do a fraction of the work her mom does, and then began resenting her mom instead of learning from her.
Idk why, but out of everything here Pearl discrediting her mom is the craziest to me. I would rather get hit by a bus than diminish my mother's accomplishments. Pearl should be proud of her mother --to take care of 9 children AND have a career is a big feat! Such horrible disrespect to her mother.
It’s quite common before therapy and unpacking childhood patriarchal trauma to be an extremely harsh critic of one’s mother. (Due to unfair expectations that a mother should have provided full nurturing/attention/etc that we simply aren’t raised to expect from fathers.) If Pearl starts deprogramming and unpacking her trauma, I’d bet her story about her mother would be greatly transformed. (Although I do think there are fair criticisms - having 9 children is not ethical if the parents can’t fully provide for their childrens’ emotional as well as financial needs. Parentification of older/female siblings is not a parenting plan, it’s emotional abuse for the entire family unit.)
People like her also forget there was an entire war that caused almost if not all working class and able bodied men to be shipped off to the army and training. And instead of our country falling apart women stepped up and took over every job in the industry.
Pearl only fights for what I would describe as a middle class fantasy of traditionalism. The people she probably would point to as an example of her ideal world would be an advertisement in the 1950’s. She has no actual concept of what societal norms existed during the time she would say we all need to go back to. 🤦♀️
@@Macheako For her, it is. Before feminism, women were not allowed to have an opinion. There are even horrific medieval devices made explicitly to punish women who said things men didn't like. Women had no freedom to express themselves at all, let alone be as aggressive as she is. Women had to fight for everything she takes for granted. They weren't even allowed to have bank accounts or credit cards until 1974. So for Pearl to do say what she does, and monetize it, is only possible because of feminism. It's just one of many reasons why she's such a massive hypocrite.

I find it ironic that her handle is "justpearlythings," inspired by "justgirlythings," a woman who has come out as lesbian and talked about how the creation of "justgirlythings" was essentially being a "pick me" in an attempt to convice _herself_ that she liked men.
I’ll never forget being like 12 years old and seeing a “justgirlythings” post on FB that said something like: “Just girly things: Using your vagina flaps to fly.” I was incensed and immediately unfollowed the page 😂
13:43 I'm so sick of this analogy! "If one key can open many locks, that's a good key. If a lock can be opened by multiple keys, that's a bad lock. " How about the pencil sharpener analogy? "A pencil sharpener can sharpen many pencils and still be just as useful, whereas a pencil that is sharpened many times has become used up and worthless?" In reality, humans are not inanimate objects that were designed to serve one purpose. We're complex creatures. Everyone has innate value and nobody deserves to be compared to or treated like an object.
The thing is. She criticizes working, single older women. But she is exactly that. Working, single and older than 25. Its pretty pitiful. And the fact she surrounds herself with these manosphere influencers who wouldn't even see her in a romantic or sexual way is even sadder.
That's why I laugh so hard at her. She completely destroyed her credibility, dignity, and future prospects, all to desperately try to appeal to a bunch of men who wouldn't be caught dead dating her. Those men are shallow, judgemental conkwockets who only value women for their looks and desirability, and Pearl doesn't match their ridiculous, misogynistic standards. She ruined her life for nothing.
I think that's sophistry. An analogy is just a way of conveying a point to someone in a digestible way. I don't think it's inherently good or bad. I think the implication is that it's dehumanizing, but that's silly. It's just a way of explaining something in a different way.
@@Kickflips22 But if you're breaking down a massive group of people to a very simple concept and acting like it's all they are, it's pretty inaccurate and stupid. If you think women work like locks, I'd like to see some legitimate sources please.
I always say this! I used to watch her before she became like this and even then I could tell she had issues with her mom. It’s so unfortunate that it festered and you this far. She seems to detest her mother frankly
@@Luzunamemother issues will leave you empty and disconnect from yourself. Daddy issues generally affect how you interact with others . This is for a woman. If you are a man it’s the other way round. Very simple way of explaining it
as a person who's had major mommy issues (we're mending our relationship now) and used to be a pick me like pearl, i agree. i used to use phrases like, "not to be a traitor to my own sex," or, "i must be the exception, because..." not only because i wanted male validation, but because i hated my mom, and in some ways hated myself. every time i see pearl trying to act all nonchalant by laughing and talking over the person she's debating with, i see myself from 4 years ago: self-loathing, lonely, and miserable. it's sad.
Nah she doesn't believe any of what she spews. This was all shock value for views and money. That's why she contridicts herself so much. That's why she can't debate or explain what she claimes to believe in. She doesn't actually believe any of what she says
What’s funny is that Pearls mother is a successful business woman and pearl enjoyed a comfortable life thanks to her mother but she wants to tell women to stay in the kitchen and be pregnant, not vote, not speak up against the almighty man. The woman is a walking contradiction.
@@seleneledezma3543for money and some male validation. How sad. Hope she gets what she wants when enough conservative law makers turn her talking points into reality.
Her mom us a tech genius. Her other 8 siblings didn't turn out like her for a reason. If her parents were so bad she could have never even been savvy in business like that . She should be thankful but welp
I'll call her unattractive. It's not normally a qualifier for a person's worth, obviously, but Pearl's entire thing is holding women up to higher and higher standards... impossibly high, sometimes. And just as she is a hypocrite who works while saying women shouldn't, who's single and unloved in her 30's when that's what she claims is the most deplorable state for a woman to be in, her capitalizing on racism and inequality while pretending dating one single black man makes her progressive, how she can be raised by a true unsung hero of a woman who has helped countless people and met incredible success and still be who she is... Pearl has made her choices, and she's the one who sets the window for how she herself can be views fairly. To that end, in a world where by her own words Pearl gives value to women based on how subservient she is, how accepting she is of toxic men, how anti-feminist and contrarily tradwife she is, I'll say it's fair to judge her by the fact that she's as ugly on the inside as she is on the outside. She made this bed, and I don't at all think it's unfair to make her sleep in it.
I always hate when people think you should marry young. And it's always targeted to women. You don't see people telling men to marry at 18. I stand by the fact that you shouldn't get married until past 24. I changed a lot between 18 and 23. I basically became a different person. I've seen so many people drastically change as a person during that time in their life. So many people are stuck in loveless marriages because people change so much during that time period of their life. After 18, you start to decide what you want your life to be, and guess what? It takes years, and sometimes it takes decades, for someone to learn what they want.
its targeted towards women because women who are 30+ have almost no eggs and can therefore almost never get pregnant. I, a man, can wait until im 95 to get married and have kids, because i dont have a "biological clock". Very simple, biology wins over everything. Also, having children is much more important than your dissatisfaction with the relationship, happy children = happy future for all.
Early 20's is THE time to grow and change. I'm 37 now but I feel like my 20s happened yesterday and my opinions from then to now are at polar opposites! I've grown so much since then! I met my husband at 28 and had our child at 31! Looking back, im so glad none of those 2 happened before 25
@@RexAlmenuhhh no. Most women are fertile until the age of 45-50. The peak of fertility is late 20’s and early 30’s And that’s also implying that women only marry to have kids, or want kids. Which is not true at all.
Rex The quality of your sperm decreases with time also. Waiting to begin parenthood results in the possibility of a young kid having a much older father then burying said father and not having a man around in his formal years and in you possibly having a child born with chronic illness or downs. Let's stop pretending that only womens choices of delayed motherhood contribute to having special needs children. There's also the possibility of the husband/man walking away from both mother and child b/c he lacks what it takes to raise a sick child. 🙄
@@Robin-lf1gt do you really think attributing disappointment to her mother wasn't an attack on her mother? Why did you bring her mother into this at all?
@@helmeteyeNo, it’s not an attack on her mother, that’s an absolute disingenuous stretch. Her relationship to her mother gets brought in because Pearl opened the door to that, by constantly down playing and minimising her career accomplishments to bolster her dad. She opened the door by demonising career women without exception when her mother represents that it’s going to raise questions about what she thinks of her mother
"Marriage in 2023 isnt marriage." Me turning to my spouse: " what even are we!?" Edit: dang there are some bitter people. Sorry your life sucks to all those who are wishing me divorce or telling me I'm ugly and my partner is going to leave. Hope things get better for you! Our family is doing great, so no need to worry about us!
As someone raised in a tradwife culture (Mormonism) I was constantly taught how bad feminism was, how lonely & regretful women were who chose careers (obvs for vanity/wealth/status) over having children etc and that motherhood was the ONLY route of TRUE joy for women. So far, I've never met an older woman who regretted her career, regardless of whether or not she had children (most did anyway.) But I am SWAMPED in stories of women who regret MANY aspects of tradwife living: marrying too young, having children too early, too close together, and more than they wanted had they TRULY been in control of their autonomy, giving up careers, educations, etc, serving and building up their husbands education/career etc often only to still divorce later etc. Even when older women wish they could have had kids, it's almost always due to circumstance that they didn't control, not a vowed aversion to marriage & motherhood. They either didn't find a suitable person to marry, or dealt with infertility. I've NEVER met a career woman with regrets at the same level of intensity as tradwives.
And (as a childless career woman) I think the main reason for that is that career women simply have the room to be honest and pick honestly the whole way down the road. I stop every year and ask myself "is this my path?". Whereas women who are tradwives (whether it fulfills them or not) are generally surrounded by so much social pressure they don't feel allowed to question their choices rawly and regularly.
Thats super sad. Whenever you're being herded and pressured into a specific mindset or lifestyle by others, it's important to ask one simple question: "Who benefits?" Oh, my employer is constantly telling me unions are bad and trying to disuade me from joining one? Who benefits? Oh my government is telling me that I should support legislation that effectively gives more rights to corporations over its own citizens? Who benefits? Oh, my religious leaders are encouraging me not to pursue my personal education or aspirations in favor remaining at home to rear as many children as possible in the ways of my religion? Who benefits? Cus it sure ain't me or the kids. People sadly *especially women and girls* aren't encouraged to think this way but rather live our lives in ways that serve capitalism or someone else's religious or political agendas for us. 😡 it's time to revolt.

JustPearlyThings is a cautionary tale for women of all ages and background to seriously remember your worth and value. At the end of the day, we should never place our inherent precious value on the hands of others, especially men. I feel sad and pity for her, and honestly hope she realizes that what she is doing is honestly hurting herself.
TRUE. I didn’t talk about this in the video, but your wonderful comment made me think about how with social media everyone has become focused on searching for approval in others in general (how many likes, views, approval can one get online) which Pearl is also a cautionary tale of the dangers of becoming too attached to social media and detached to reality
She loves herself though I figured she has great self esteem and confidence to do what she does. Completely immoral but what do morals have to do with self confidence
@@alisonmercer5946 not properly dealing with low self esteem and confidence can easily lead to harmful behaviors. insulting other people to make yourself feel better, making other people feel insecure, bigotry, etc. can all stem from these feelings. this isn't to say that anyone that's inscure or smth is destine to be a bad person, far from it, its just an explanation for harmful behaviors.
Pearl has the privilege of not living in a subdued country or city where women are constantly reminded of the dangers they might face if they dare to walk alone at night, or even at day. As a woman who has lived in Juarez for almost her whole life, it’s amazing how someone could choose to ignore the very real and constant threat that men pose to women’s lives. Hearing her say that women are the ones that harm men systematically is very insulting
I thought of this too when she said divorce should be illegal. I live in a 3rd world country where many women depend financially on their husbands to the extent they stay and put up with the abuse because of their kids, because they cant be financially independant. Imagine them being stuck that way, not because theyre afraid to leave but because they CANT or else now theyve commited a crime.... I think Pearl needs to travel more to understand that her "solutions" are very narrow sighted, she goes either black or white in a world full of shades.
I feel horrible for Jennifer. Can't imagine being in her shoes seeing her own daughter publicly go on and on about how much her dad loves and takes care of her and the family, is so successful and intelligent. Meanwhile her mom, who has an incredibly accomplished and impressive record to her name, Pearl treats her role in the family and all of her achievements like they mean absolutely nothing. If I didn't know any better, a fleeting glance would make me thing that Pearl straight up doesn't like her mom for whatever reason. She comes off as ungrateful with spouts of favoritism, and that's beyond messed up. Side note: Maddie in a demon slayer shirt is life
Pearl talking about men who cheat: "if I go for a high-value man..." Babe, listen to me, listen to me. "He's not high high value if he's going to cheat on you." I'll say it again, louder: "HE'S NOT HIGH VALUE, IF YOU THINK YOU CAN EXPECT HIM TO CHEAT ON YOU!" Like, omg girl, get a new value system.
Real question here, what would you describe an ideal man as to you? I have a feeling there is a disconnect between what each side of the coin think the other is. The way i understand is the red pill think women want the successful and powerful men (CEOs, millionaires, men in the lime light and men with notoriety) and have disdain/disrespect for the everyday man (the journeymen in the trades, small buisness men, contractors etc. Essentially sub 100k salary). From what i understand women want the successful men or men with the potential for success. Essentially they want what all the other women want. Now that successful man/men have the pick of their admirers, and in that will be ruthless in choosing (or not choosing) and just enjoying the attention all the ones he wants attention from. In short my thoughts are the highly sought after men typically are more likely to be cheaters/frivolous with their partners. While the everyday man is looked over or taken for granted. Not everyone gets to live an outstanding life, most men understand this, many women dont understand this.
@@ThePestilentDefiler I cannot speak for all women, but personally I don't find success or the potential for success to matter for me personally. I'm older and successful on my own and I honestly don't need a man for anything beyond companionship. So what I looked for (I'm engaged now) was someone who genuinely cares, someone who will be there for me when I'm not feeling well, someone who will let me be myself, someone who shares my interests or is at least willing to listen to me talking about them, someone who will respect my boundaries and communicate with me, someone who is confident enough to not develop an inferiority complex by comparing themselves to me. However, there's a very simple reason why people look for either beautiful or rich, and it's the fact that most people are terrible, so if one has a statistically high likelihood of ending up with someone terrible, well at least it would be somewhat worth it if they're at least beautiful or rich. Also fun fact, the average man is a pos. I don't know what fairy tale world you live in, but most average men deal with self esteem issues due to them not being "amazing", and so they project their perceived failings on others and take out their frustration on the people closest to them.
From this video all I saw was that piers is fine with her dragging women, but he draws the line at her dragging anyone Jewish. Or did I miss something? (honest question)

She's so ignorant, and she knows it. She does. She went to expensive private school, she's well educated. She remains wilfully ignorant. The whole "if women quit their jobs tomorrow, we'd be better off"??? Uhhhh, nurses? Doctors? Rad techs? Dentists? Vets? Engineers? Soldiers? We'd be better off if 50% of the workforce quit tomorrow? Yeah, okay, Pearl. Sure lol
You should probably do more of your research before you comment so you understand that your comments may not actually make much sense. Essentially, the fields that you are referring to that are largely led by females would be primarily the medical field and that's about it. I did a Google search and based on just the top results, here's the breakdown. Obviously the numbers might be different depending on which source you look at and I didn't do more than about a minute's worth of typing for each one so I didn't go through and sit down and try to verify each one was accurate. I just went off of what the Google results were so you can do your own research. This is the amount of females based on percentage in each of these positions that you mentioned. nurses - 76 doctors - 37 radiation tech - 67 dentist - 37 vets - 63 engineers - 13.7 soldiers (all military) - 17 As you can see, for the military, it's not even remotely close and I don't even know why you brought that one up because that's an easy given that there aren't even close to that many females in the military. You mentioned soldiers but I just simply searched for military because that would include everything. If you want to get down to the nitty-gritty and actually talk about soldiers fighting on the front lines and actually firing guns (on the ground) or weapons from a vehicle or tank, I guarantee you it's not even remotely close to double digit numbers. No way. As far as dentists and veterinarians, you can see the numbers for yourself. Dentists is about a third but vets is about 2/3. Engineers is not even close. Doctors that's not even close. So you pretty much have nurses and radiation techs. The nursing field has largely and predominantly been female and that's been that way pretty much forever. It doesn't mean that men couldn't do the position. They simply choose not to. And as you've probably noticed over the last few decades, there have been more male nurses getting involved in the field. You may not like it but the reality is, men are just simply in general more capable of getting things done and do get more things done and have for centuries. It just is what it is. If you're a female, I'm sure you don't like that fact but it's hard to dispute facts over feelings so I don't even know if it's worth getting involved in a conversation about it based on your first comment.
@eldridge201 Nah, you are the silly one here, dude. 67% of nurses are women. That's 2,077,000 people. That IS the Healthcare system. And it's already critically understaffed. If every female nurse quit tomorrow, millions of people would suffer. 37% of the entire physician workforce is a huge percentage. That's 407, 037 doctors in the US. If they quit tomorrow, the Healthcare system would be in shambles. And 17% of the military is 353,439 people. But sure, they could all just quit tomorrow with 0 consequences. No problem. Pair that with the military reporting record lows in recruitment, and I'm sure we wouldn't miss those 300k women at all. You and Pearl sound ridiculous. Utterly ridiculous.
@@eldridge201 you should probably get your head out of your ass. and realize other parts of the world exist. do you think any country outside the us has this problem? no. because one income has never been enough. both parents have worked from 9 to 5 for as long as I can remember. One funny thing to add to the women strike in Iceland is that hotdogs quickly ran out in stores because that was the only thing that most men at the time knew how to cook.
@notrustinmen660 It is simply ignorance to say that women couldn't learn how to do such things. To say that women are not capable of learning such things is beyond me. Just as there are men in happy marriages who cook while the wife doesn't. It's blind ignorance to the way social politics work. Different strokes for different folks. There are female electricians ect., look it up. Both sexes benefit each other, neither is better off without the other. Instead of focusing on complaining, maybe we should focus on finding common ground.
Yep so funny…….. and absolutely nothing to do with the fact that those men had just put in a twelve hour shift at the local factory, and don’t have the time or energy to prepare and cook a meal. @@James-ly3wf 12 hour shift in a local factory in Iceland? Labour laws dont allow for 12 hours a day for prolonged periods. Most people work 37,5 hours. Scandi countries with their unions take care of their people. Men just lack basic adult skills thats all.
Just before more think I am saying men are incompetent or whatever it is people think I am saying, I was only stating a thing that happened in the past on that strike. This was 1975, times were different, the strike happened for a reason and the fact hot dogs would run out would probably not happen if this was done again now. I do agree that it would be healthy for us to see what happens if men did the same to see more perspectives. It's a healthy thing to experience. But I don't think it would be any more of a collapse that when women did it, I think it would be around the same but different areas. We do need to open our eyes to see where gender diversity is needed. (To the person who made the comment about the men should strike, like I said I agree it would be good, but I just want to say that even though you said in earlier half it was good for men to see, you made it sound really bad in the second half and is why you might get hate. I get the intention and that it was worded bad, so just want to let you know for the future.) Also everyone benefits from learning basic cooking skill regardless of gender, no need to be a master, but it's good to know how to take care of yourself since you never know what happens in life.
While I do think that Pearl doesn’t agree with some of the things she’s saying, (like the women not voting stuff) she does still say it. But the most terrifying thing about it is the people who agree with these horrendous takes.

She doesn't believe what she says. She says women need to get married and have children as soon as they're legal but she's like single/childless/nearly 30.
I don't understand why people who struggle with their appearance think having an ugly personality will make them appear beautiful. Genetics isn't a choice; kindness is. Edited to add: To be clear, I'm not calling her physically unattractive. She has said herself that she thought she wasn't as attractive as her friends and that men would only date if if her more attractive friends turned them down. She’s not ugly. She’s got a nice face and a nice figure. Her hair is a great color. You put her in an outfit that really flatters her, and a more flattering haircut, maybe a little makeup, she would look quite conventionally attractive. But maybe she doesn’t want to wear those things, and that’s ok too. What’s really wrong with her is what’s inside.
@@manderly33 I could have phrased that better. To be clear, I'm not saying I think she's ugly, or that she's somehow objectively ugly (not a thing). She's said herself that she thinks guys would only go for her if they were turned down by her more attractive friends, and that she was "never the hot friend." She talked about "being humbled at a young age" and I think she really internalized that. That's the kind of thing you can't fix with a cute outfit and a new haircut. It doesn't matter what we see; it matters what she sees in the mirror. I don't empathize with her selling out other women to the manosphere, but I do empathize with feeling small in a world that's constantly comparing you to everyone else and demanding more. I mean, literally the first response to this comment is "get surgery and fillers." Jeez.
@@shinyumbreon696 Yeah, I saw that. It’s a very appearance obsessed society. It also seems obvious that all of the mean and cruel things she says about women (not capable, not smart, useless, not worthy) are things she thinks about herself.
Bottom line: Pearl felt unseen by her family (300 children and all), so the only way to get her mom’s attention is to rebel against everything she believes in like a kid throwing a tantrum to provoke any kind of reaction. And as a bonus she thought she could also find a man who will look at her and praise her and give her the attention she never got from her parents.
That can explain her promiscuousity (I'm NOT demonizing it but this is something mental health professionals also claim abandonment issues factor into being promiscuous)
I think that pearl genuinely believes that her mom would have given her more attention if she wasn’t a career mom, but being one of nine children wasn’t going to get her the amount of love and care she wanted either way.
YES! Her behavior is so in line with not processing childhood trauma. Not saying her parents intentionally harmed her, but sometimes the worst damage inflicted on us by our parents is inadvertant.
I hope to god she didn't edit this video herself or she made a fat bag off it because having to rewatch those clips over and over on top of having to spend hours writing a script sounds like torture
*ONE MORE THING* Women of the 1930’s and 40’s were *deeply* affected by the war! They *had* to leave their homes and get jobs to support their families while their husbands were off fighting. Some of them hardly scraping by because of the conditions back then. Women were/still are payed less so they’d have to struggle by with what little they had. Women went into the service, Rosie the Riviter, and they helped in many aspects of the war effort! No, they weren’t shipped out like men. That doesn’t mean they weren’t affected. Shades of grey here. Hell, Women’s fashion was even affected! It trickled down into every aspects of life! Shoulder pads became the fashion in the 40’s to give women a masculine look because the burden was placed on their shoulders, why not give them broader shoulders? War fashion was popular. War fashion? Yes, war fashion. Women’s coats, blazers shirts and such were modeled after men’s military uniforms. Colors turned towards camo green, desert beige. As opposed to the 1930’s where soft dusty rose, lilac and sea foam were very popular. It’s not just women of now whom were affected by war, women back *then* were even more deeply affected by it. Women and men have both been deeply affected by war throughout history. Just because men were shipped off does not mean women weren’t affected just as deeply. She ‘just want’s to stay home and be a wife!’ During the war? That’s not what most women were doing. If your husband is shipped off, you’re not a wife anymore. You’re one woman trying to keep your house together, struggling to pay bills and wondering, praying that some man doesn’t come up to the door step with a folded up flag. All the while, you’re left trying to manage those kids you desperately want. Being a wife isn’t about cooking a cutesy meal, wearing pearls and popping out kids. Even in the 50’s, the decade I think she idolizes the most, it wasn’t like that. That’s what everyone wanted you to believe! But 1950’s was darker than it looks, they were just all putting on smiles and pretending everything was great after going through how many years of hell with the war. What if; you just took everything she says women shouldn’t have away from her and see how she likes it. Hm? Women weren’t allowed their own bank accounts until the 70’s. That’d make her sweat for sure. If she married her husband, he’d assume control of her finances! She talks about this! Does she think her husband would just- let her spend whatever? With the guys she talks about, they’d take her money away where she couldn’t see it and give her a food allowance! That’s it! And, if the food they want isn’t in there? She’d a bad wife! I don’t think she would like that reality AT ALL if it happened to her! This was long and rambling. But, I am passionate about the past. She is just- awful! Cherry picking what she wants to say! And denying or shrugging off any other information with a dumb look on her face. When you know she knows better! Women did their part in world war 1 & 2 and the countless wars of the past. Hell, even their nails and lips were a political statement of support! A certain man whom dictated over Germany despised when women wore lipstick and nail varnish. It was a sign of a suspicious woman. What did American women do? They made it apart of every standard issue kit women were given that there would be a bottle of nail varnish and lipstick. It was called ‘Victory red’ and women would wear it every day to show their involvement with the war. She wouldn’t last 2 minutes even as far back as the 1980’s with her attitude…
First of lets make it clear that what you wrote is about women in USA during WW2. Because our women in Europe were actually involved in the war. Many of them had guns, were active in intelligence, in transfering of ammunition etc etc. And many of them got executed for their involvement. The war was in our homes, not a far away mission. My country was occupied and some men and women fled to the mountains where they started guerilla warfare. Cooking back then didn't mean baking cookies, it meant try to find food to survive, whatever kind of food, even selling a home for some olive oil (in the cities) . In my country 300.000 people died of hunger. The average "red pill" guy wouldn't be able to pull out the work women used to do back then. It's one thing to do some pull ups in the airconditioned gym, and totally different to even carry back water from the well under heatwave.
@@hamlet557 Thank you for adding!!!! I did speak about American women because that’s what I know most about. I didn’t want to talk about the women of Europe without getting my facts straight! (It was very late at night I went on my rant and didn’t look more into it.) So, I do appreciate your adding more! One picture from World war 2 is of a 17 year old French girl with a machine gun clearing out a village after occupation. They were taking their village back and she was one of the key factors on how they won. I think she used to seduce german soldiers and then kill them. (I can’t remember her name) European women didn’t just cower in their houses. Their homes were in danger! Their kids! They weren’t putting up with it! There were the transmission girls who helped translate so much shit, I think they were faster at translating than the men if my memory serves me correctly. Jojo Rabbit is a movie with another example of something that happened. A German mother with a son in the children’s division of the German military was hiding a Jewish girl in their attic. When her son is sweeping the square one day, he bumps into one of the people who had been hung. The body is his *mother*. This happened!!! Red Pill guys are claiming that men need to be men as in the men of this time period. They’d get their asses whipped by the men AND women of this time. They were made of tough stuff and knew what primal struggle was. My grandmother was an Irish immigrant. She was made of piss and vinegar, my family said Alzheimer’s made her a nicer person. She would have whipped the tar out of one of them by herself. She retained the mindset of back then when raising my father. She didn’t bake cookies. She cooked food using ingredients that were less than fresh. The food would be growing mold and she’d still make my father eat it. And this went on way after the war! These women were affected by that too! Some never left the mindset of ‘I need to preserve and use everything to its fullest extent and not waste’ even when they *could* technically waste it. Thank you for adding!!, I appreciate the added information I couldn’t articulate myself!
"But 1950’s was darker than it looks, they were just all putting on smiles and pretending everything was great after going through how many years of hell with the war." And many of those men who came home from the war were never the same afterward. My ex-boyfriend's grandfather was part of the Normandy beach landing in WWII. When he came back, he was quiet and angry. He would fly into sudden fits of rage out of nowhere, throwing objects around the house and screaming at his wife and kids. If he ever laid hands on them, nobody ever said. But that happens, too. How many families in the 50's had to live in a household like that?
Adding to it, there were women involved in wars and hard labour around the world. Despite not being expected of them. She doesn't know this or ignores this because all she can envision is life of a RICH housewife. Which well, was pretty good for rich men too. None of these manosphere guys would last as hard working men i see on daily commute and none of these Pearlys would make it work without generational wealth.
Reminder because I'm tired of hearing this kind of bs: Women always worked, no civilization has ever existed where no women work. If women stop working completely, society would collapse. Women fought to be recognized as workers, to be able to work without their husbands' approval, to own their own money, to have access to the same jobs as men. Women have, for example, always been very important for trade, often being the one in charge of selling products and taking care of the inventories, but also in agriculture because a farm is a lot of work and all the family is helping. Women also have always been midwives, and the time periods and societies where women couldn't be midwives are exceptions (a lot of culture saw birth as an event only women could assist at/with, which isn't that great in the end because it participates in making the gap between genders bigger, like the other sex is another creature). Also, a lot of jobs were seen as "complicated" and "remarkable" with a good pay, only to be downgraded once women started doing it (pay less, viewed as easier), like working in education, nursing, working in retails (btw, the reason behind the change in retails was because men didn't like other men to serve their wives, so it was made a woman only job 100 years ago)... It's so annoying how little history do conservatives actually know for people who say they prefer how things were before.
These are the roles we men and women have been playing in society for thousands of years . Men would provide by either working or hunting and the women stayed home to raise their children but not cause they were lesser than men, in fact maybe more valuable cause a new borns life is dependent on their mother . Who else gonna breast feed the baby? Its how we’ve survived all these years Teamwork!!
As soon as you said what her mother’s personal business is, I immediately knew she doesn’t like her mom. She doesn’t like her mom. She does not like her mom. She’s the antithesis of what her mother stands for because she likes to upset her mom. Oh..you just said it..she discredits her, too. This is all about not liking her mother
I feel like some of it is envy of mother too. Her mother is everything Pearl desperatly wants to be, but isn't. Her mom is both smart and stong enough to be successful on her own, and yet domesticated enough to have a rich man take care of her if she wants. Pearl could never.
@@johnnieelizabeth9752 domesticated like some sort of pet? Do you know how the family dynamics worked when the children were in their youth? You seem to know enough to be a part of the family so I'm curious.
As A black women, I do not feel bad about the black content creators who actually agreed to Pearl's deal? And the 'black manosphere who embraced her with open arms. They did not care what harm Pearl did until it hurt them.... Boohoo all a bunch of clowns
@@Bornagainvillain no one said they were hurt "being afflicted with her"... I swear the more I am on RUclips the more I'm convinced y'all can't read and comprehend anything without bias. 😂😂 Hurt comes in many forms be so fucking for real.
As a Black woman myself, I would encourage you to say it directly.... it was black men who embraced her. We need to stop protecting our treasonous male racial counterparts. Let's say what it actually is... Black men worshiping non-Black women and again throwing Black women under the bus for $$$$. They just found their savior in Pearl and loved the fact that she aligned with what they were saying about Black women. They can all have each other. That is so sickening & we Black women need to finally exit stage left and leave the collective and the "culture" all together because we all know that is what so many of us deal with.... pure treason. It's shameful. And before anyone want to say I hate myself or I am talking like a reverse racist, look at the stats of Black American families. They will show an overwhelming number of absent fathers. Or better yet, ask any of your Black friends if they grew up around their father and most will say no. It's sickening and it's time we Black women set much higher standards for ourselves. Let the Pearls of the world have them. We never need to shed a tear over that, but we SHOULD speak directly about what is really happening here
I think that her old friends have it right - she figured out it was a niche she could exploit as a grifter, rather than actually buying into what she was saying. She's a spoiled rich kid who decided to monetize outrage instead of getting a real job.
Anyone who was naive enough to believe that Pearl was in this to make a positive change in the world doesn't understand how social media works. 99.9% of social media accounts are just following the money. 99.9% of prank videos are fake. 99.9% of "spontaneous" or ""wholesome" videos are fake. Everything is a grift. I thought everyone already knew that. Guess not.
@@JakeKoenig It's because of Pearl that I suddenly condone giving very merciless spanks to children for the sake of preventing the Pearl-esque grift completely. Thanks a lot Pearl
It’s sad too cause she almost had a more fulfilling life if she would’ve gotten into that masters program and was able to play basketball. I’m sure she’d be much happier living a real and authentic life rather than this grifting shït
She is either a 100% sociopath and is simply rage baiting for money and has no remorse and shame in doing so, or she is deeply, deeply damaged and needs serious inpatient therapy.
I think she is desperate for her fathers approval because she’s seen him critique her mother and her mothers achievements and has put her down for so long because he’s fragile and emasculated by her, but is too emotionally immature to ever admit that or address it, and doesn’t care about the damage that inflicts on pearl and how that modelling affects pearl, he knowingly overlooks it, and refuses to self reflect, arrogantly allowing his own daughter to become a spiteful, woman hating desperate pick me who just wants daddies approval, but because he has absolutely nobody who actually looks at him this way, and he’s so fragile that he’s even more desperate for it than she is for his approval, he will never actually give her that approval because that will halt his supply, and he would rather his own daughter is fucked up beyond repair for the rest of her life, than to just tell her she’s good enough, and her mother is good enough, and he loves them and celebrates them no matter what, he is pissed off, righteous, arrogant, selfish and will prolong this dynamic forever because pearl gives him the supply he could never bully out of his own wife, the cherry on top is that he feels he’s won seeing pearl on his side and not hers, and to him, that’s more important than pearls overall wellbeing. My prediction? pearl needs to go no contact with her father, go into therapy alone and then with her mother if her mother will even agree pearl should probably beg for forgiveness, id probably suggest pearl undertakes serious psychiatric intervention, biological interventions like psychotropic or psychedelic therapy, or even ECT. If not? I predict pearl being this fucked up until she dies. Without any doubt in my mind. She needs sudden and drastic circuit breaking change to this behaviour and thinking, even if it’s an act, because after awhile it’s not. It goes in. It affects someone, that’s why method actors are so deeply affected by the roles they take on. She needs immediate, drastic intervention of several kinds but most importantly no contact with her father, none. He’s dangerous and psychologically predatory to the detriment of his own family.
the way she puts down her mother and how unaware she seems in "debates" that she's constantly caught off* guard... I can't see it as anything other than a person who needs therapy making her problems everyone else's problems.
Pearl: "The teaching and healthcare industries are all run by women!" Also Pearl: "I can't really think of one job where women dominate in that we really need."
@@im2arrogant118 And somehow you think it's women who are responsible for it and not terrible economic decisions made by governments dominated by men? There's a MASSIVE lack of resources when it comes to school and it's not women's fault.
I used to work in childcare one of the jobs weee women are dominant in. They reason we have problems is because all they types of care are underfunded and underpaid. I'm now on unemployment benefits and that is much more than I earned as a childcare worke, and the unemployment benefits are made to be low to encourage people to go back to find work again
Oh Gods, Pearl is still around? I don't know whether to hate her, for the horrible things she's done to women and their place in society, or to pity her, for being a woman in said society that feels the need to demean herself like this.
Fun fact about the Matrix is that the film is confirmed to be an allegory for gender transition. Both the Wachowskis have come out as trans women and the red pill itself is what estrogen pills looked like in the 1990s. It is honestly disheartening the term red pill makes many people think of the Manosphere.
@@cruelworldhappymind Ain’t that the truth. But on the bright side, it does leave the Manosphere open for much deserved mockery and ridicule. I mean, that must count for something.
Banning divorce would make life absolutely miserable not only for adults but for the innocent children caught in the crossfire. My parents got married when they were active alcoholics. My mother stayed clean, and my father was constantly relapsing. Life was absolutely miserable when they were together. If they hadn't gotten divorced, I'm positive that I wouldn't have made it to the age of 18. Their relationship was so toxic that both my brother and I were suffering from major depression and panic disorder/generalized anxiety disorder. I spiraled into opiate addiction after being Rxd large amounts of opiates to deal with the pain from severe endometriosis, which I was diagnosed with at the age of 14. Meanwhile, my brother acted out in different ways. It's also a bit ironic that the only reason Pearl has her platform and got the education she did because of the work of past feminists. I can't decide if she actually buys her own BS or if it's just a money grab.... Edit: As a woman who is also a medical student (previously spent 10 years working in pharmacy) since when do women run the medical system?? Most of our issues are due to pharmaceutical companies and insurance companies with boards that are dominated by MEN who price gouge patients so they can take million dollar salaries and million dollar bonuses.
my parents are orthodox christians that consider divorce a shame. They were also married by their families I always wanted them to seperate as a kid. My father was a depressed alcoholic with anger issues, my mother was and still is mentally unstable with even worse anger issues, and I am pretty sure that a good chunk of these issues came from them marrying before having ever met really and from being incompatible Like I am since 4 years in therapy and I think I may need an additional 4-5 years to go through the trauma this unspoken no divorce rule has put me through. It's that way for many other people I know who come from similar circumstances
The number of people who think banning divorce will "fix" divorce rates are so ignorant. They are more focused on the presentation of high marriage rates with low divorce rates that they don't consider WHY people divorce. I've had arguments with people who A don't believe people change when married and B everything can be worked out.
“I think feminism overall was a bad thing. I think...” bro stop right there without feminism you don’t get to think anything! Sit down and be quiet if that’s the way you want to go
Right? Thanks to feminism, women have birth control. Thanks to feminism, women can have bank accounts. Thanks to feminism, medical research includes all genders.
Without feminism, Pearl wouldn't even be allowed to have a bank account in her own name, or own property under her own name. Her daddy or husband would have to sign off on it. Feminism is the only reason Pearl is able to do anything she's doing.
It’s crazy because the guy with the glasses says some off the hall shit about black women. As a black woman myself I’m also appreciative of her take on this. We can’t do shit without being labeled as “too much” it’s sad that men (black men mostly) have to put us down while claiming what they like. Even though I’m a lesbian I find that repulsive. Edit: the light skinned guy with glasses who talks like the guy who thinks he knows everything but is really a dumbass lol
There’s so much more I wanted to get into- the gender war, some of the worst offenders of the black manosphere etc… but I felt like the video would have been 3 hours long and would have gone way off topic if I did!!
I'm a white woman, but we really need to start talking more about the black manosphere. The misogynoir there is WILD. It hasn't escaped my notice that these influencers seem to exclusively pick on black women.
@@NaturalBeauty214 Fiq the Signifier has made videos about it. I think Khadija Mbowe has as well (I'm sadly behind on their content!); I also recommend Shansphere for her gender discussions too. Apologies if you've heard of all these creators already but they are awesome
I think she just genuinely thought that all that it took was outrage and controversy. Eventually you just burn all of your bridges. This also sadly implies that outrage and controversy *does* work so long as you don't burn all of your bridges but stick to a single message.
Seriously. When she says "sorry feminists!" after declaring men superior beings, she says it like she's got us, like it's a mic drop. But...she hasn't done anything?? She just makes a statement with no backup or verification and then smiles all proud of herself. So damn lazy lol
Pearl is great because, as a person who grew up in a cult, the men always say that they want this girl (not Pearl, but her ideaologies). And Pearl just proves that they are clueless and they don't want that, they just think they do... and that's why they're so repulsed by her. It has nothing to do with her being "masculine" and more to do with the fact that these men have no idea what they want -- they just want absolute control, but when they see a person willing to give her personality away completely like Pearl, it disgusts them. 🙁
@@trinaann1452 Agreed, but these guys also went their partners to see themselves as lesser and put the man on a pedestal, which requires the woman to not love herself by default.

I honestly feel that Pearl felt so invisible as one of 10 kids that she just wants to be noticed and this is the way she get's attention. Too bad for her that in the end it get's her nowhere
It's like Pearl has never heard of Amelia Earheart, Marie Curie, Mary Shelley, Anna Wintour, Coco Chanel, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan, Michelle Obama. Pearl makes me sick.

And these are only eastern Slavic counties, I cannot fathom how many more prominent women there are from China and India, for example!

What kills me is how she only seems to view children as a consequence for women, which is wild for someone who apparently wants the return of traditional households. Like, do you understand how the household you value even works?? A woman who doesn’t want to be a mother SHOULDN’T BE A MOTHER because then the mother AND the child suffers, and the household falls apart!! WHICH IS WHAT SHE DOESNT WANT
Wow Pearl was raised catholic. I was raised Catholic too and the message I got was: hate the sin, Love The sinner, Jesus loved the sinners, he told those who would viciously attack someone in society they thought was more sinful than them to "let the one who is without sin cast the first stone". Both Christians and Catholics believe you can be forgiven of your sins when you trust in Christ and try to follow his path, a reformed sinner is not a prophet, and if ANYONE is a false, bitter, ignorant prophet, it is YOU Hanna Pearl.
- "Jesus hated false prophets" regaring an ex-sex-worker who became Christian. um, Pearl, Jesus literally taught people no matter when you decide to join the faith, you're treated EQUAL to those who were in faith from the start of their life. That's literally what bible says. You don't get additional points based on the amount of time you were in faith.
I don't wanna pull rank on Pearl and be pretentious, but I will because I took vocal training for many years. Her technique is soooo mediocre and I cannot stand it. She does one tone, on the same chord, and it's just boring. She never changes it up nor does she ever try a new technique. What's fun about being in music is experimenting and doing something you've never done before. You take the risk and the outcome will surprise you. I was trained in opera and classical and then thrown into jazz, something I didn't ever want to do because I thought I sucked. Turns out, it's just as fun and challenging as any other genre, and in the end, I learned something new.
Her “voice” is absolutely horrible. She has a very mediocre, flat, overly bright tone that won’t impress anyone, she has a very poor sense of pitch and her interval relationship (when she attempts to sing more than one note) is also very poor. The fact that she can’t hear how bad is her voice is tells us what we already know about her. She has been desperate for attention for years yet she never wants to put in real effort to achieve any goals (unlike her mother and her siblings, who are go getters - Pearl just uses her mother’s $$$ and house then complains)
The fact that Pearl started her pick me content because she was “The Ugly Friend” is crazy 😓 The things incredibly insecure ppl do is unreal. Edit: this is the fastest I’ve ever gotten a lot of replies- Edit 2: Okay I just had a thought; So what if some of the guys that work(ed) for Pearl she may have done the whole 30/70 thing just to hold power over them & make her self feel like she had control over a guy after she was made insecure because of guys? It's just a theory though.
i worked in two different middle schools, i was the only staff member that wasn’t married with no kids. saying all teachers are single feminists is a wild take.
It's the only career can get that always gives you the public school system's summer/winter/spring breaks off! People who have/want kids are probably the only ones for whom teaching is a good idea economically.
I know I'm at 11 minutes in of the video but as a 30 yr old man myself, i think it's important that both men and women need to respect each other instead of trying to gain dominance and not be fed into this red pill BS. People in the "manosphere" just piss me off just because they say men are soft for showing emotions or respecting women. GTFOH
FACTS!! So glad you feel that way I completely agree! I was so nervous to post this video, because I wanted to address the harmful rhetoric of the manosphere and red pill communities but also I don’t want any men watching to feel shame for falling into it at any point, because it’s so common in our online culture nowadays and more and more everyone is becoming isolated and alone making them more vulnerable to that sort of content.
@@cruelworldhappymindfor real. I know “men suffer under patriarchy too” is often a talking point to diminish or shut down conversations around misogyny. But it really is true. And it’s a shame how those men (and some women) don’t realize feminism could help men feel less isolated and more comfortable with vulnerability. Obviously, it would protect women and trans/nb people first and foremost, but getting rid of strict gender roles would be better for everyone.
The thing I've seen people rag on Pearl the most has been her looks and honestly? She's average, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. Most of us are, that's what it means. She'd honestly have better luck if she had more of a personality because she seems pretty bland and decided that her entire personality is MRA redpill and even then still manages to make it insanely bland.
I agree! She isn’t ugly by any means at all, she can be rather pretty if she were to fix her hygiene and put extra effort on dressing well. However it’s just sad how looks are the immediate thing that pops up and not her character first. Goes to tell you what society focuses on the most really.
I mean that’s it. She is perfectly fine looking. I know plenty of people who are not as conventionally attractive who are married and have kids. If that’s what she really wants, if she touched some grass, it would not be that hard to find.
She’d have better luck if she didn’t align herself with a community that puts so much value on looks, specifically Eurocentric beauty standards. Of course she’s going to stand out when so many successful tradwives are petite blonde women.
I think she could be really pretty if she fixed a few things…but then as soon as her personality shows all those outside fixes mean nothing. She needs therapy, like badly. She needs to figure out the root of her hatred towards women ( probably something with her mother) and why she is willing to go so damn far for male validation that she doesn’t even really get.
I've seen women WAY less attractive than Pearl that found their life partner. Some of them are even happy with their relationship. They embraced their ordinary instead of ragging on it like it was a liability and found someone who loves them for it.
Thats because she doesn't actually think anything through enough to have more than a superficial, easy to disprove opinion. She's like a kid, you can tell that half of what she says is made up on the spot to get attention.
Pearl saying her mom was in marketing or sales in a dismissing way, just shows how stupid she is for business. You can be the best craftsman, best engineer, best artist, if you cant sell, you will never run your own business... I dont understand why people downplay the importance of good sales people it pissess me off because our HR is the same. "Anyone can do sales" and they hire people that are unable to sell... No, not anyone can sell. Especially not in family owned businesses where every turn down can break your spirit and make you want to give in and just go work at a corp with your knowledge.
meh sales are overrated and most marketing and sales folks are actually not worth the money you spend on them especially the agencies. I run a successful business and was told I cannot get anywhere without marketing in this day and age by the agencies in my local town. I did cold calls and did better work than firms who marketed heavily. Marketing and sales is all about hype, not substance. In the long run, as is proof of many, the ones who are successful are ones who deliver, not those who have crazy ads. Is there a difficulty in getting your name out there initially ? For sure but nothing beats a good service/product. Marketing and sales might result in increase in sales in the short term but in the long term, its the consistency and quality that will win. So many startups like my firm failed at our incubators as they budgeted 30-40% sometime seven 50% of their budet to marketing, crippling them financially for little to no gain. Sure a lotta people knew who they were but noone gonna buy it if there another service thats better. AI also showed that marketing and sales were overpayed as many business owners like myself now use AI to get SEO optimized content, lead generations, demographic research, profiles and campaign strategies in a few minutes for absolutely zero investment. Somehow the marketing industry has convinced everybody that its actually relevant. In this day and age with saturation of even the internet with useless ads, the smart customers and clients know quite well and are aware that everything is just hype. This reminds me of the number of times at comic book conventions you'd meet a creator and their spouse/partner was the one who took care of handling money, organizing sales, keep track of commissions, etc. It was the first time I appreciated how romantic partners acted as a team and used their best skills to balance a business.
@@raptorate2872 so you were doing your own sales and marketing, but its not important? ... Just because you did it yourself it doesnt mean it is not important, it just means you were unable or unvilling to delegate. Nothing wrong with that, but I would not downplay the importance of it.
@@oszaszi i never downplayed it, i acknowledge its impact but mentioned that it was overhyped and not worth the investment. And the point is I didnt need to delegate since I used AI and just automated the process but even then, my initial success was with cold calls and emails and only transitioned to marketing much later on. I didn't cripple myself financially by pouring huge amounts of equity into marketing agencies that provide very little ROI. Even now, good service, word of mouth and traditional referrals still outperform any kind of digital marketing due to oversaturation on the internet at least at the small to medium business level. I cannot speak for bigger corporations as that is beyond my expertise.
Shower thought: While I agree with the opinion that she's faking this all, and it's an act, I do think it's rooted in something real. And that is Pearl's low self esteem. She's so insecure when it comes to herself and other women, that she lashes out to make herself feel better. She lashes out at women she sees as beneath her (ie women she calls whales) by putting them down and laughing at them. Then she lashes out at women she sees as above her (ie prettier and younger) by trying to drag them down to her level, make them just as insecure and panicked as she is.
I agree. I think she wants to be the person in the room who is furthest to the right because it gets her attention and some affirmation from men. I also think that she believes that all this shit she advocates for (women losing their right to vote, complete loss of abortion access, getting rid of no-fault divorce, etc.) won't be passed, and if it is, it won't impact her. That's what she's banking on.
She admitted HERSELF that she can tolerate manosphere content because of her low self-esteem, it's actually really sad how she just watches that garbage to confirm her own self-loathing thoughts
I think it's not that she looks down on those women she insults. I think she actually feels inferior to them and needs to try to drag them down so she can feel better-than. After all, even "whales" manage to find men who love them and want to be with them. But she doesn't have that while they do, and she's jealous.
Her saying our education system is run by women is a WILD take. Yes, in teaching there is a larger portion of women to men, BUT teachers don’t run education. They don’t even have a say in what they teach sometimes. Its lawmakers, district boards, city boards, superintendents, governors, etc. People in power. And these positions of power do have more men than women. An anecdotal example: I’ve worked in three districts. All three of these for the last few years till now, have Only had a male superintendent. The superintendent is the top dog overseeing all these schools and responsible for how these schools function and it’s not a women that dominate this position
@@gamergal8220 their job is to *teach* whether the students have behavioral problems from their environment and personal lives - which is common, or whether the teaching materials instructively chosen by the government are poorly suited, the teachers aren't to blame. They already go to extra mile and try to work in the horrible situations they find themselves in, but they aren't miracle workers
What I notice with people like Pearl, and Fresh and Fit, and even at times, Steven Crowder, is their complete lack of preparation when speaking to anyone outside of their “red pill community” They constantly surround themselves with people who agree without having anything concrete to draw from. When nobody around you challenges your perspectives and just tells you how smart you are, you start to believe it. They go into spaces like H3 thinking they can draw from their tiny deck of sound bites not realizing they have nothing of substance to say when challenged.
I find it very funny that two movies that go against most of the red pill community's beliefs (the Matrix and Fight Club) were somehow so subtle and well done that they were hoisted up as battle cries for those men because the directors' underlying messages just went over their heads and the men were just like "aww theyre so badass! So much action and violence and i relate to that on a spiritual level." 😂😂
Personally I think you're being too generous towards Palahniuk & Fincher. Imo they were way more into conjuring and enjoying the Holden Caulfield x Batman wish fulfillment of the story than in critiquing or questioning it.
Not to speak that the Matrix directors are actually bad ass trans women whose writing has so many special and endearing metaphors to me... It just leads to me thinking that these red pills are either truly damaged in their mental faculties or their own base concepts are an intentional perversion of their original meanings. I'm inclined to believe that their brains are dead.
Conservatives do it with The Punisher. They take away what they like while ignoring what they don’t. Like reading an article’s abstract but not the results or discussion section, which contain all of the details of the study.
@@EnigmaticLucas I think it might be, but as far as I've heard from them here is the deal: the Morpheus scene in Matrix has a red and blue pill. Blue pill means living in a reality that is constructed and living a lie, the red pill means seeing the truth as in seeing beyond that lie. The red pill, in that context, is related to seeing the systematical societal abuse, injustices and such. It means to analyze society and see the truth beyond patriarchy, misogyny, prejudice, etc. and the systems that lead to them. Somehow, the red pill people related that truth to their truth which "duhhhh, men should be providers and hold the power, women should be submissive. That's the truth and how nature intended things to be. This whole 'new' era of women and people who aren't cis men whining about their rights is just an illusion to corrupt the truth of society." And then related it to the fact that Neo was a hero and represented manhood and bad assness in such ways they want to believe they should represent. That's why they use the term "red pilled" which is related to drinking the red pill and seeing the truth such as it is in the movie and Matrix universe. That of course, is a rhetoric that degrades the whole meaning of something created to challenge the views that the red pills propose. Lana and Lilly Wachowski are the trans women behind such dear metaphor to me, and as a little gay boy growing up it meant a lot that such a little thing could make me start developing critical thinking just to find, in a few years later, a bunch of idiots using the terms "drink the red pill" and "red pilled" relating to the Matrix red pill and corrupting its original meaning. That It's akin to how the term "woke" changed over the years going from something that would mean seeing the truth beyond the systems of abuse and power placed in society to relating to a "bunch of whiny people or even conservative lunatics proposing conspiracy theories".
It only took me a few of her videos to realize Pearl was just a troll looking for rage clicks, and you can’t convince me she actually believes most of what she says online. She may very well have psychological issues based on her past, but that doesn’t excuse all the harm she’s done to the public discourse on both women’s and men’s issues.
If I'm not mistaken, Pearl showed her younger teenage sister comments of men about her or something like that. I don't remember well what it was, but she basically exposed her younger sister to the lustful, lecherous, misogynistic eyes of many of those individuals. I think that's outright evil.
She’s clearly just desperate for attention at any cost. doesn’t matter who she gets it from, doesn’t matter whether it’s positive or negative. Doesn’t matter what damage she does.
The little effort she puts in to her content her middle of the road dog shit takes, her low demeaner , her lack of clear arguments or even research in to the things she speaks about is clear to me she is just looking to make a quick buck and for that she would say anything and I mean anything. She lacks conviction in her own 'so called belive' and puts such lazily made content out there. Her viewers are pathetic for lapping that sad sloppy crap up.
You're getting warm, but you're not quite there. She's following the money. The End. The "trolling for rage clicks" makes her money. She saw an opportunity for profit as the "Female Representative of the Manosphere" and correctly predicted how many men in that universe would simp for her, and how many Andrew Tate types would bring her along for extra credibility. The amount of secondhand embarrassment I get from this woman just shot through the roof once I heard her "Tortured Pick-Me Department" singing. And now I can't unhear it 😭😭
"All men want younger women" OK, but hear me out... I'm forty and there are plenty of 20-something men who are very into that. It is impossible to generalise.
Agree! I've dated mostly older, but I have also dated on the younger side. Men who "chase" younger women are usually only doing just that. Chasing. Dating someone that much younger is a whole different beast. 😂
It is easy to generalize. All men want sex. When they chase you they are chasing sex. Men who want kids and legacy will chase fertility. You may be an attractive exception but an exception nonetheless. Science determined those facts.
What’s more wild about the whole women shouldn’t vote because they don’t get drafted is that historically, men who were drafted also could not vote… it was reserved for the upper class who were more likely to avoid combat.
I know this has been already mentioned in the video, but goddamn, for a woman who claims that women shouldn't be able to vote, hold job, and voice opinions, etc., she sure love to make a career of voicing her political opinions.
I don’t understand what women like that hope to gain from their grift. If people actually listen to their bullshit, then they’d have to shut up and go back to the kitchen for real. No more political commentary, no more influencing.
It's really sad how she grew so bitter and resentful that she decided to seek validation and self assurance by putting other women down and siding with people that will not hesitate to throw her under the bus.
Im doing the math for the first time, I went to HIGH SCHOOL WITH PEARL. We were not friends by any means, but I never realized we had classes together. Small world.
Pearl not only goes after new converts to Christianity, she also regularly goes after women who have lived traditional their whole life. The most recent case was when she was making fun of a woman who was a virgin before marriage, stayed married to her husband, is very active in ministry, homeschools 5 kids with a 6th on the way... Etc. She made fun of her for being fat and called her a feminist. The woman had 5 kids back to back and just lost 30lbs. Pearl later admitted in an interview with Timcast that she didn't really have a good reason to do it other than she has the right to be mean on Twitter. She hates Bernadine because she's actually what Pearl peaches we should all be, but Bernadine isn't trashing women and marriage like Pearl. I think she afraid of Bernadine taking her attention away because she's gaining Internet attention and does traditionalism better than Pearl. Which is a low bar because Pearl doesn't act traditional AT ALL!
My mum was a stay at home mum to me and my 3 siblings. I love my dad but she is the glue that holds our family together. You are doing something important!
Her issues are about not feeling worthy to her FATHER. Pearl has been the most hurt by patriarchy… unironically! She puts dad on a pedestal. It’s not safe to be upset with dad, so let’s blame mom.
Who would want that kind of male attention in the first place?! I really, really am lost here. Is it like a humiliation fetish? Is she so lazy that she can't bother using a single iota of her brain cells to empathize with fellow women? I'm so grossed out by this person and especially her audience.
She doesn't. She's literally banking on this like all the podcast bros. She saw a gap- a woman in the manosphere, and filled it to make money. She can't even keep a straight face talking, with that constant weird smirk. Not even trying to hide her hypocrisy or putting any effort in pushing back when she's called out. Red pills will take anything seriously that confirms their bias, but the actual world should really stop acting like we think she believes her own crap. She's a successful con artist.

As a person from post USSR country, we have 99.9% of women in educational system and it sucks. Why? The position is so grossly underpaid the people are struggling and don't have any motivation to even fulfil their jobs. Even men don't try to get there because of the miserable compensation. Women are struggling. I won't be surprised it's the same exact situation in USA now, and I can't believe all the idiotic stuff Pearl spews not only at other women, but at her own mother as well.
Its absoluetly NOT the dame situation in the US for women. Women have it pretty damn great in the states. Just as good if not better then any average man. Nore women then men in universioty, more women then men graduating college....and a lot of women are now out earning men on average. Stop pushing nonsense misinformation. The education system is absoluetly dominated by women for sure....but this is due to their own choices for career path. Nobody forces them at all. For decades women have had advocacy for themselves by society which is why things have gotten lopsided in their favor now. A lot of it due to affirmative action quotas by schools and companies that push for and favor hiring women. Its crazy nonsense and misinformation that a lot of people keep spewing that are a big part of the reason the negative sides of red pill exploded the way it did.
Oh, god, that's so sad. But makes sense
What a total fucking gut-punch ☹️
Whew this is terrifying
this is My Mother // My Self, right??

Anybody thinking it's no big deal that some people on the internet talk about it. Look up the female Parliament representatives in Iran in 1970.

I don't think that's it
@@sejongunniespistolwhat do you think it is?
That seems to be the case. It seems that Pearl tried her hand out in the business world, found out she can’t do a fraction of the work her mom does, and then began resenting her mom instead of learning from her.
Idk why, but out of everything here Pearl discrediting her mom is the craziest to me. I would rather get hit by a bus than diminish my mother's accomplishments. Pearl should be proud of her mother --to take care of 9 children AND have a career is a big feat! Such horrible disrespect to her mother.
i feel the same way
Right? Like I wouldn't shut up about how cool my mom is an she's there diminishing her just for male validation.
It’s quite common before therapy and unpacking childhood patriarchal trauma to be an extremely harsh critic of one’s mother. (Due to unfair expectations that a mother should have provided full nurturing/attention/etc that we simply aren’t raised to expect from fathers.)
If Pearl starts deprogramming and unpacking her trauma, I’d bet her story about her mother would be greatly transformed.
(Although I do think there are fair criticisms - having 9 children is not ethical if the parents can’t fully provide for their childrens’ emotional as well as financial needs. Parentification of older/female siblings is not a parenting plan, it’s emotional abuse for the entire family unit.)
I agree about that. But her deliberate exploitation of "her Africans" was the worst thing to me.

Isn't her father also successful? I believe her parents share a business
Looking back, im so glad none of those 2 happened before 25
@@nicolebonetti8467 dont forget the fertility rate in women, when youre 30 most eggs are gone. i, a man can wait but a woman cannot.
@@RexAlmenuhhh no. Most women are fertile until the age of 45-50. The peak of fertility is late 20’s and early 30’s
And that’s also implying that women only marry to have kids, or want kids. Which is not true at all.
Rex
The quality of your sperm decreases with time also. 🙄

'Something else' apparently.
As someone raised in a tradwife culture (Mormonism) I was constantly taught how bad feminism was, how lonely & regretful women were who chose careers (obvs for vanity/wealth/status) over having children etc and that motherhood was the ONLY route of TRUE joy for women.
So far, I've never met an older woman who regretted her career, regardless of whether or not she had children (most did anyway.)
But I am SWAMPED in stories of women who regret MANY aspects of tradwife living: marrying too young, having children too early, too close together, and more than they wanted had they TRULY been in control of their autonomy, giving up careers, educations, etc, serving and building up their husbands education/career etc often only to still divorce later etc.
I'm in the fertility boat. But at least I have the right person.
They're all over the internet nowadays. Not sure how you haven't seen them yet. And statistics show female happiness in general has been decreasing.
Thats super sad. Whenever you're being herded and pressured into a specific mindset or lifestyle by others, it's important to ask one simple question:
"Who benefits?"
Oh, my employer is constantly telling me unions are bad and trying to disuade me from joining one?
Who benefits?
Oh my government is telling me that I should support legislation that effectively gives more rights to corporations over its own citizens?
Who benefits?
Oh, my religious leaders are encouraging me not to pursue my personal education or aspirations in favor remaining at home to rear as many children as possible in the ways of my religion?
Who benefits?
Cus it sure ain't me or the kids.
People sadly *especially women and girls* aren't encouraged to think this way but rather live our lives in ways that serve capitalism or someone else's religious or political agendas for us. 😡 it's time to revolt.

TRUE. I didn’t talk about this in the video, but your wonderful comment made me think about how with social media everyone has become focused on searching for approval in others in general (how many likes, views, approval can one get online) which Pearl is also a cautionary tale of the dangers of becoming too attached to social media and detached to reality

Yes! Thank you for putting what I was thinking into words!
omg youve lived in Juarez most of your life????? Is violence against women still as bad as it was in the 90s/ early 2000s??
it's crazy how women think they face more violence then men. talk about delusion.
What country is Juarez in?

Meanwhile her mom, who has an incredibly accomplished and impressive record to her name, Pearl treats her role in the family and all of her achievements like they mean absolutely nothing.
If I didn't know any better, a fleeting glance would make me thing that Pearl straight up doesn't like her mom for whatever reason.
She comes off as ungrateful with spouts of favoritism, and that's beyond messed up.

Pearl goes for the men but none of them want her. The pick me who can’t be picked - Y I K E S 🤭😂💀

This is the amount of females based on percentage in each of these positions that you mentioned.
nurses - 76
doctors - 37
radiation tech - 67
dentist - 37
vets - 63
engineers - 13.7
soldiers (all military) - 17
As you can see, for the military, it's not even remotely close and I don't even know why you brought that one up because that's an easy given that there aren't even close to that many females in the military.
If she knows, then she isn't ignorant

@notrustinmen660 It is simply ignorance to say that women couldn't learn how to do such things. To say that women are not capable of learning such things is beyond me. Just before more think I am saying men are incompetent or whatever it is people think I am saying, I was only stating a thing that happened in the past on that strike. I do agree that it would be healthy for us to see what happens if men did the same to see more perspectives. It's a healthy thing to experience. But I don't think it would be any more of a collapse that when women did it, I think it would be around the same but different areas.
I think she's really internalized a lot of self-image issued and displaced that anger onto other women.

There's a reason charisma trumps beauty, if you have an awesome personality people will gravitate toward it if you're ugly.
@@manderly33 I could have phrased that better. To be clear, I'm not saying I think she's ugly, or that she's somehow objectively ugly (not a thing). Even if I thought that, I'd keep it to my damn self; commenting on other people's appearances is not cool even on the hellscape of the internet.
But no man ACTUALLY wants her.
That can explain her promiscuousity
(I'm NOT demonizing it but this is something mental health professionals also claim abandonment issues factor into being promiscuous)
I think that pearl genuinely believes that her mom would have given her more attention if she wasn’t a career mom, but being one of nine children wasn’t going to get her the amount of love and care she wanted either way.
red pillers will literally bash feminism instead of going to therapy.

What they looking for is action and results, not buzzwords.
Her parents are both software engineers.
It’s still the teachers job to make sure kids can at least read and do math at grade level yet they’re failing at it.
What I notice with people like Pearl, and Fresh and Fit, and even at times, Steven Crowder, is their complete lack of preparation when speaking to anyone outside of their “red pill community”
They constantly surround themselves with people who agree without having anything concrete to draw from. When nobody around you challenges your perspectives and just tells you how smart you are, you start to believe it. They go into spaces like H3 thinking they can draw from their tiny deck of sound bites not realizing they have nothing of substance to say when challenged.
Exactly. Echo chamber. Even the comments section is full of parrots and juvenile lingo and phrases
@@manda_musings8459 but they’ll say we’re the ones in a bubble. 🙄
@@doug6987of course they will.
We definitely need to make a more collective effort to reclaim the matrix and fight clubs from incels, because it really does go over their heads.
"See, some women agree with us. We told you we were right!"
I'm reminded of what June said to Serena in the handmaids tale
"You built this whole world just so that you could have someone, but it didn't work."
If women stopped working, a bunch of men would be homeless, considering most families can't make it financially on a single income.
Wages would go up
If this was the haidmaidens tale, pearl wouldnt be a wife like she would want to be, she would probably be a maid IF she was lucky
Fr
She would be an aunt for sure.
If I am being honest, Pearl feels like Serena Joy Waterford, but without the stubbornness.
@@jacqueshardin4601 except serena joy was gorgeous, actually poised, and well-spoken. A lot of her ideas were the drivers behind HMs. Pearl is sloppy, loud, and desperate. Serena is a villain, but there's a reason she was so threatening. Pearl is an idiot who would run her mouth trying to be a goody goody and get thrown into the fields
Is Pearl even married now? It would be funny if she wasn’t even married now.
The amount of secondhand embarrassment I get from this woman just shot through the roof once I heard her "Tortured Pick-Me Department" singing. And now I can't unhear it 😭😭
She’s not a skilled singer and she shouldn’t do that to anyone anymore. I don’t want to be part of the Tortured Listener Department.
"All men want younger women"
OK, but hear me out...
Indeed, esp when those men already pulled their life together and are artists
A lot of men in their 20s struggle to keep up with women in their 40s 👌
It is easy to generalize. All men want sex. When they chase you they are chasing sex. Men who want kids and legacy will chase fertility. You may be an attractive exception but an exception nonetheless. Science determined those facts.
That's just for sex though
Do you remember what she was like?
Dont mind me, just a stay at home mom tearing up listening to you tell me I'm doing something important despite not having a career...
You are the best. Feminisme is the right to do what you want with your life. Taking care of your precious baby is a beautiful thing. I’m proud of you
My mum was a stay at home mum to me and my 3 siblings. I love my dad but she is the glue that holds our family together. You are doing something important!
Parenting is so important! Thanks for dedicating your time to raising new humans. That's crazy
You are wonderful, and your job is wonderful! Whether you work outside the home, or work in the home caring for your family, what you do is vital.
You’re doing something I was never brave enough to do, career is nothing compared to the monumental task of mom.
Her issues are about not feeling worthy to her FATHER. Pearl has been the most hurt by patriarchy… unironically! She puts dad on a pedestal. It’s not safe to be upset with dad, so let’s blame mom.
Its so disturbing to see a woman hate herself so much to try and get male attention.
Agreedd 😪

You're absolutely right about the education system and women in the US, we're having the same issues here.
Women dont have it bad in the US at all by any means. Saying otherwise is just ignorance to the actual facts.

It's so funny to me how a good percentage of Pearl's appearances are just her saying something wildly offensive and then backtracking because she doesn't know what she's talking about and doesn't want to commit to anything. Like, she is giving writing an essay without reading the book energy. I think the reason all sides don't like her is that she truly stands for nothing (not even herself).
