Good to see some other southern boys hunting spring bear up north. Just got back from our second year going and that much more addicted. Learned a lot, hunted way too hard or I should say hiked too hard as well. Enjoyed your film, authentic! #Texas
We were too high from the beginning, had a couple opportunities, at lower elevation, but ran out of time! Gained experience and got humbled a tad by the country.
Well…that’s a great question, mistake were made lol. You scout and research and come up with a game plan and think u know where you need to be…until you get there 🤦♂️
I'm learning bears too. Have done bait for years but spot and stock I bit trickier. Trying to learn and thought I'd ask the question. I do understand that the bigger boars potentially ride or are in that snow line.

Yes it is. We had our bags under a small shelter. Just enough room for 3 and a stove.
