I know better than to expect any soap character to be close to perfect but Dillon literally went ahead and did the WORST most out of character thing he could possibly do🤮
I think Lucas and Dillon were so strong a couple they had to do something that feels impossible to come back from. This feels so far out of Dillon’s character so I am curious to find out how all this happened. My first guess is probably just sadness for Lucas being away and ste being in coma and maybe alcohol involved. They ended up just making a mistake. Which isn’t an excuse but that makes the most sense. Lucas is going to be extremely hurt especially since Dillon is really his first love. Get ready for a long roller coaster ride folks. I do think Dillon and Lucas are end game ultimately they are just too popular of a couple with fans but it’s gonna be a very bumpy road back once this all comes out.
By the timeline and the calculations when I had figured this out she obviously had gotten pregnant Around 3 months after her dad was in a coma and she had just lost her stepdad And her brother was sent off to young offenders also Leah was probably also dealing with her Boyfriend Charlie going off to trade school. I assumed that yeah she possibly got drunk and he probably had a little and it was a one night stand and she had gotten pregnant But the thing that don't make sense is that 1 minute she says she's giving the baby up for adoption and then she got mad at her dad for not taking the baby and then when he decided to take the baby and she told Dillon That's when Dillon thinks of Lucas Sorry you should have thought of Lucas when you did what you did or even before you did what you did with his sister
That baby is going to be a constant reminder that Dillon cheated on him with his sister, even if it was a drunken mistake. No matter how much time passes, a year, ten years, fifty, he's always going to have that reminder, that Dillon, his very first love, and his sister betrayed him, and his nephew exists because of it.

Especially since they kept it a secret from him the entire time, rather than explain and fess up right away, it'll just make it feel like being lied to for over 9 months. trust is really hard to earn back usually.

Well, after the time skip, here's what I want. First, for Lucas to get out of prison soon, and find someone better than Dillon to be with, because there's just no forgiveness for Dillon cheating on Lucas with his sister, and knocking her up. Lucas's nephew, is always going to be the son of the boyfriend who cheated on him with his sister. it's never going to not be that way, and I really hope they don't do the horribly cliche thing I've seen done in other gay movies, where they kill sister off, and have the brother and cheating boyfriend reconcile and raise the child together because one of them is the legal father, and the other is grieving over his dead sister, and the writers think them raising a child together is an easy way for a gay couple to have kids outside of adoption. I don't want that storyline at all. Dillon can just stay with Leah, and leave Lucas alone to be with someone else. Second, I know James is dead and not coming back, and Ste is about to go through a whirlwind crap-storm of BS because of the Lucas Leah Dillon Baby explosion that's destined to happen in his family, not to mention the baby. I know Rex wasn't the greatest guy, but he really did try to fight the police in order to save Ste, and they didn't want to believe him, and there was no chance of him getting to the other car, so the explosion wasn't his doing, or even his intention. I felt he actually cared about Ste even before the time skip, and right now, I'd rather see a Ste and Rex redemption relationship storyline, with Rex being the support Ste needs to get through this crisis, than watch them drag Lucas and Dillon through the utter gutter after everything they went through just to be together for like a few months, and I don't like any of the options for how that fiasco is going to end, so Ste and Rex are pretty much my only hope for a gay storyline in this show that doesn't make me want to throw up in my mouth, which is pretty bad.
I thought that the hints that Dillon was father of Leah's baby was going to be a red herring. But I was probably giving the writers too much credit. Hopefully Dillon will let Lucas go, so they can both eventually find happiness with someone else

They proppably just had a one off because they felt bad about Ste, James and Lucas or Leah felt so down and he comforted her and one thing let to another maybe alcohol involved, but it don't excuse anything. They just have to mess up about every couple somehow for the drama, thats how soaps are, and cheating is the easiest apparently, nobody is perfect, but this is so stupid.

The Lukas-Dillon storyline has shattered. Either of them is condemned to vanish from Hollyoaks. I think Lukas MUST know about the disgusting betrayal performed by his boyfriend and sister; and Dillon is the best candidate to fade out.

Neither surprise me in the least, I called both of those "twists" the second the time jump was over because they are so damn obvious... and it is all horseshit.
