All of these additions genuinely look like they were in the game from day 1. Incredible attention to detail from the A-Spec Team, from models to UI and everything in between.

The new models look outstanding. Most of them you couldn't convince me they weren't in the original game. Good to see the European car roster being expanded too, the base game is so heavy on Japanese cars. Any chance of a Bedford Rascal variant of the Suzuki Carry, as they were built in the UK

In tune shop koenig is one of the most exciting ones with some awesome cars like koenig C62! I also wonder that when Dauer 962 come?! At the end we need Lamborghini cars specially diablo models with pop up lights ✨️ 😍 😎 💖 💕 💙.
Komputer here. The reason why the K/2 and the K/2 LM have different drivetrains is because the K/2 LM is based on a late 90's Trans-Am car. Hence the different drivetrains.
I'm a bit disappointed that the Fury no longer has the beautiful and classic red paint finish. Otherwise, I'm looking forward to playing this when it releases.
Komputer here. I don't know what exactly you mean by "equally visable" on the F40, but the Sauber will not have it's silver color scheme, as this version of the C9 is the original 1987 version, not the 1988 car.

What I meant about the F40 is that I think the rear outer lights (blinkers and reverse) shouldn't stand out that much compared to the inner lights (brake). Or, putting it other way, the inner rear lights should be more visible compared to the outer lights. Sorry about my English 😅

The removal of Event Synthesizer makes me sad as I do a lot of my racing on there! But i'm nevertheless excited for this update! I love the new cars, even the Panoz!
@@TheRealEmile F1 champ is cool, but it is really a direct downgrade. GT2 suffers where there's not a great deal of jump in and play events. so every time you get a new car, guess it's back to the sunday cup tahiti road to test it

I think it's really good, in terms of performance level anyway, no matter what vehicle you are driving, the opponents will physically match the performance level of the vehicle you're driving. Cosmetically, I'm tired of the same tuner cars I get while using a race car anyway. I don't want to jump into one random event where I become too fast or too slow compared to the rest of the competition for custom grid codes.

Never in my entire life have I been more excited for not just a Project A-Spec update, but for a Gran Turismo game in general. The new cars, new events, the tune shop, the new dealers, the F1 cars/championship (which I don't mind that the event synthesizer is gone cause I almost never race in it and even during childhood I didn't), someone please give every Project A-Spec team member a gold license test prize for what they've done in V1.2. They've turned my favorite PS1 GT game into the most incredible version of it. Excellent showcase, Emile. JANUARY 28TH CANNOT COME FAST ENOUGH!!
@TheRealEmile - As much as I appreciate many of the cars being added and how they've restructured the use of certain tracks, I feel the biggest issue in GT2 outside of bugs is the rubberbanding in the many many short races

@DMSwordsmaster, i suppose that's fair, but take Ferrari, for example. They're a law firm with a side business in selling cars. Ferrari has sued people for doing less with their own car they've purchased...
@@ReallyRealColbyKomputer here. Ferrari only sues when something is done with their property (their cars) in the physical sense. This basically falls under fair use, as we don't generate revenue from the this mod.
Can't say I care for the universal tune shop. What the game had with each brand having their own tune shop feels more immersive IMO - you don't go to Honda Mugen tuners to tune your Toyotas for example.

Instead I'm going to the TRD tuner which is in location B, to my knowledge no tuner authorized by a brand will be in the exact same place as another tuner authorized by another brand. It would actually be fine if it doesn't say Mugen if I'm going with a Honda, and then TRD if I'm going to the same place with Toyota. Instead have the universal tuner reflects custom tuners like AEM, BBS, HKS etc, closer to how custom tuner shops are IRL.

I love that the game either shows Opel or Vauxhall depending on language in PAL version to reflect the regional changes of the area based on language. I also understand not everyone likes that but I think free speech means it's fine for me to state my opinions.

The Jaguar TRANSIT VAN bodykit with XJ220 engine also is a massive bonus.
It took a second to think of why there's a ford transit in the jaguar dealership, but I burst out laughing when I remembered.

F40 has always looked like that, unless you are thinking the US Version which I think had the red 4 lights due to legal requirements
