    So in two months I will be singing in my first official unpaid professional gig singing solo which my number is two nights and may be more than once if we need to fill in time. I have sang in public in a karaoke setting not always very well. I also have sang in choirs in church in my teens as a second soprano. I did have one particular time singing a solo in karoke that was amazing because the whole bar sang with me. Anyway so far everyone who hears my song for the gig loves it but I know because I used to sing in choir that its not nearly to par like I used to be. This lesson is great and I will be checking out your other lessons. My main thing is I really want to be relaxed when my solo comes up so I do not become strained. I want this first time actually singing on stage professionally to be amazing for my audience. Thank you for your lessons. I appreciate you.

    Thank you Singing Sensei. Very, very helpfully!! First time doing exercises like this. I'm sort of between a bass and tenor, can sing both (in a limited way) so perhaps these techniques will help me discover my true range.
    Lovely day 😘🙏

    And... The reverse triangle!!!! I've been thinking sound should come out like this ◀ and it was pressing my tongue down. This ▶ opens everything up!!!! Amazing Katie!! 🎶💃🎶

    Hi Katie! I really love you videos! I've been playing ukulele and would love to start singing to some songs. Do you have any tips for how to know if you are singing in the right key/note? I'll try to play a note on my uke and then sing the note but I honestly have no idea if I am singing the right note.
    Thanks for all your videos, they always make me smile because you seem to enjoy it so much!

    Katie, you are an asome person!! So so beautiful, so wise!! Could you answer my question, please. How could I understand if song is in the right key for me? And how can I transport the song for me into the right key ( for example, in mp3 file, or karaoke version) Best wishes, greetings from Ukraine

    Would it be ok to practice these if your a guitar player? I sing (I’m a tenor) but I also play guitar at the same time.... would it be ok if I had my guitar resting on my stomach while doing these exercises While standing up?

    • @OneMusicSchool
      @OneMusicSchool  5 лет назад

      Yes, I practice singing standing most times, so playing a guitar would be fine. Also, just be aware of your posture and make sure you are not hunching over your instrument 😀.
