- The greatest comeback in National Basketball Association play occurred on November 27, 1996, when the Utah Jazz, down by 36 points to the Denver Nuggets late in the second quarter (it was 70-36 at the half and 70-34 just before), overcame this deficit to win 107-103.
Karl Malone and Jeff Hornacek contributed a combined 60 points on a magical night that saw them steal the game by just four points.

Never knew about this, that's insane!
Who's here after clippers-wizards game?
Me too. Hahahahahaa
This must have been one of the most entertaining games of all time 😮
Such an amazing comeback.
23:36 "that picture there might tell the whole story" -couldnt have spoken for anyone who watched this game any better than that
The comeback start at 8:40!
Mark Jackson trying to intimidate Karl Malone is the funniest shit I’ve ever seen 😅
Clippers Wizards anyone??
👋
Heck I still remember the Kings comeback against the Bulls in 2009 that was 35 points. Now the Clippers on the short list of teams making a 35-point comeback
Mavericks-Clippers
the jazz came back by 36
And the Jazz went on to the Finals that year
I wonder when the Jazz new court (with the new logo) debuted that season? By the 1997 nba finals, the new court was ready.
How in the hell you BLOW a 36 point lead?
Utter bottled job by Nuggets when they lead 36 point in this game, but let's not forget that Jazz almost blew 3-0 lead in this series and this time they had to overcame the embarrassment by Nuggets
That series you're referring to happened three years before this.
When did the Jazz get the turquoise key
Why isn't the score on the screen
that was how it was back in the 90s, the score wasn't permanently on the screen the whole game
Only shows after the game ended

Compare Hornaceks statline across the board ... including percentages ... with every other SG besides Drexler, and princess jordan , at that time.
He beats them all.
He certainly should have been on the Dream Team 2 instead of some others they had.
Certainly one of the most underrated players of the 90s because of that.
AND no marjerle did nOT have `better defense ` .
Stockton running in the crowd to pick up cheap fouls. Fans: savvy. Casual observer: dirty.
