as an australian, Luc Longly made us really proud at the time.
Thank you UTAH for making JORDAN the real GOAT
in 1980 the nba declared the greatest player ever as bill russell and there's a documentary called the greatest player ever starring wilt chamberlain
Thank GOD I lived through that NBA era and not the sht that's on TV today!
Right men today NBA is garbage compared with the 90s and 80s you can feel the intensity watching this games
This defense is absolutely trash what are you talking about?
More than 20 over years, still having goosebumps now in 2023 watching those smooth turn around fadeaway jumpshot. Why? How?
Ikr
but these new generation ppl saying the bulls didn't have competition when you can see that the jazz and bulls were evenly matched...
bryan russell was so underrated he was a 3D type of player
The new generation are a bunch of losers most of them know that Jordan it's the goat but they are fanatics they never will admited
Dang. One of the best finals game ever.
please tell me if you know about the 1964 finals between the celtics and warriors when they were led by the prime and VERY best versions of the goats bill russell and wilt chamberlain
@@youtuber3328 2 good players in a weak era. easy to dominate. Just look at the FG% of the 60s... no wonder they had so many rebounds when they shot so much and so poor. The Bulls and Jazz of the 90s were so much better. have you ever watched a game in the 60s? they played so bad, most players couldn`t jump if their life depended on it and nobody knew how to make a jumpshot except for a few players who actually could play basketball.
having 9 to 12 teams meant role players like steve kerr wouldn't make the nba to face legends like john havicek bob cousy bob pettit elgin baylor jerry west oscar robertson wilt chamberlain and bill russell
@@youtuber3328 I definitely respect many of the older players from that time, but only the top players were good most of all the other role players weren't that good and wouldn't even sniff the NBA in the 90s let alone today
@@markbrinton6790 exactly. the fewer teams doesn`t mean that talent was more dense and teams were better. it means that basketball wasn`t of high interest and there weren`t many good talents to fill the teams.
today, basketball is a huge sport and there are so many more young players who want to join the league but you can`t just make more and more teams. so spots in the NBA are much more limited today than ever before. meaning the average player in the NBA is a lot better today than back then and that`s a fact and that`s not the only reason of course. young talents are scouted much earlier and trained with professionals that learned from generations past.
The 4:00 minute play was insane this is why jordan was unstoppable he covered lot of ground very easy he is the best ever
He is but the Stockton-Malone duo always gave Chicago trouble. Too many times, Malone was left by himself while Stockton drew the double team.
Real Basket❤
Roach face with the brick at the end proves why Phil didn’t draw plays for him at the end of games.
🤣
Scottie is my favourite player, but still good comment.
One play doesn´t prove anything.
Then he had the nerve to say Phil Jackson was racist 😂That was an awful brick.
Nicely done video. Malone was great but Stockton was the true star of the Jazz.
Pippen didn’t hit rim on final shot and he’s complaining he wants final shot
please tell me who you all feel played the bulls best between the 1997 and 1998 jazz
canlı izlemiştim. büyük zevkti
0:42 0:51 PIPPEN REALLY HIM🫡🫡🐐
It’s sad when videos from damn 30+ years ago are better than the nba bull shit of today
Facts
❤
Shannon sharp get over it LeBron James never ever going to be like Sir Jordan. SAY NO MORE.
12:00 MY GUY PIPPEN TO THE RESCUE AGAIN
the jazz lost to the rockets in 1994 and 1995 and the scoring from karl malone didn't equal the shotblocking from hakeem olajuwon
8:17 "WHOOO! WHOOO! WHOOO! " MJ, probably.
please tell me why the jazz beat the rockets in 1985 1997 and 1998 despite superstar karl malone not being as elite as legend hakeem olajuwon
I'll take Malone over Hakeem all day but the answer to your question is...John Stockton.
you make sense and if you ask me the #37 best player ever is john stockton #33 karl malone #12 pete maravich #8 hakeem olajuwon #5 magic johnson #4 michael jordan and #3 kareem abdul-jabbar
10:51 MJ TALKED ALL THAT SHT TO PIPPEN, THEN GOT THE BALL TO DO THIS🤷🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
And after that they realized they needed to rig it so that Michael Jordan didn't lose his last finals to the lowly Utah Jazz
The NBA and refs definitely favored and helped MJ but the Utah Jazz were far from fkn lowly, wtf you on?
Rodman was great, but Kukoc is the 3rd best player
15:37 should have been an And 1 on the three point shot. Malone came underneath Kukoc while he was in the air.
Different times back then.
Players actually shot the ball and didn’t kick their legs out to initiate contact
under todays rules yes. back then, no. it`s a good thing they implemented a rule for this though because it`s such an asshole move. you only do this because you want the other player to get injured and act like "ooops sorry"
Jazz only could get two victories in the two NBA Finals they played against the bulls.
They won two games in each of the two series that's a total of four games. Each team also had blowout victories and the other nine games between the two series came down to the final possession. The series could have gone either way
Utah was a good team too . But mj and the bulls was better bec ot the goat mj
in 1980 the nba declared the greatest player ever as bill russell and there's a documentary called the greatest player ever starring wilt chamberlain
This game is mj fault
And going on to beat Utah in 6 and win their third straight championship was MJ's fault too, averaging 34 PPG for the series.
@@Daveyboy_GolfRlol bruh you know these haters can't help themselves but to cherry pick some shit.
@@Rambo20244 I know... Buddy was just fishing and I bit. SMH.
Well that's irrelevant cause Jordan finished them anyway 😅 and he did it in a special way no player has the heart and the killer instinct that MJ this series is one of the proof
@@thechampion9525 I'm also guilty of replying to this loser's comment about how this game is MJ's fault.
The bottom line is MJ and the Bulls took out Utah in six games, with Jordan finishing them off with the greatest sequence of plays in basketball history in the final minute of game 6, hitting both free throws, then putting up the quick layup, then the famous steal on Malone, followed by MJ hitting the championship hitting dagger on Brian Russell.
Jordan also averaged 33.5 PPG throughout the series.
Jordan's other five championships were also his fault lol considering he never played with another player who averaged over 18 PPG in his career. Unlike LeBron who has played with over 20 All-Stars, including MVPs, final MVPs, scoring champs, DPOYs, Total points leaders, all NBA defensive first team players, etc etc whereas Jordan only played with 1 multi-time All Star in Scottie Pippen.
Luc's fault.
Nonsense what about mj not getting the shot off in time on play before. Too many plays to blame it on one play.
