30 Minute TRX Total Body Strength Workout | At Home Suspension Training and BW Workout

- Grab a mat, something for hydration, and a suspension trainer for this 30-minute total body strength workout. We will be combining TRX exercises with bodyweight-only exercises for this strength focused class. Besides the warm-up, every exercise is performed for 60 seconds. Following each exercise we will have 15 seconds to recover. While you recover, I will demonstrate the upcoming exercise. (There is one longer break right around the mid-way point). Since the exercises are timed, find a pace and tempo that works for you! We do not have to go at the same speed or hit the same amount of reps. Quality over quantity. Options/modifications are listed in the upper left-hand corner of the screen. Minimal cues are given so we can jam out.

I enjoy this workout because of the variety and how comprehensive as a full body workout it is. Repetition is key, however it’s nice to just flow to something different and keep it fresh. Thank you for this. Would you make a similar video about full body TRX DUO for beginners and progressions (including full pull up), orderly sequenced (eg. from fully lengthened to fully shortened or the other way around). Thank you.
One useful tip: you always look up at the top of trx it helps with balance and correct posture throughout of exercise

Great workout. As a physical therapist knowing that full crunches with repetitive flexion is bad on the spine, I did alternative exercises when you did those. Rest of it was great!
Hi, what alternative did you do?. I have Bulging disc and Oesteoarthritis, so will try modifying some movements. Thank you
@@leotag2298 I did more planks. I did the ones where you go down on forearms and back up. Also, instead of lower ab crunch I did straight lift of hips towards ceiling avoiding the flexed spine again.

Thank you for your wonderful workouts. I love how you do very little repeat it keeps it more interesting. Can you loose weight doing this or is this more for toning?
If weight loss (particularly fat loss) is a goal, I highly recommend implementing regular resistance training to preserve as much muscle mass as possible while entering a catabolic state.
For fat loss, you’ll want to be in a calorie deficit (through calories consumed + energy output) Workouts will contribute to your energy output but I don’t recommend exercise as a *sole* component for fat loss. What we eat/how much plays more of a factor. I am not an RD, so I highly recommend reaching out to one to help you with sustainable practices.

Typically closer to the anchor point is more challenging because it increases the resistance ❤️

Since this is called a TRX workout, why don't we use the straps for the ab exercises? (well I did, which made it at least effective😄)

Why does the side plank really hurt my shoulder?
It could just be too much load for your shoulder to handle currently. Start with both knees on the ground (to shorten lever) and if needed use the top hand to help assist. See how that feels and slowly progress from there. Also be sure to have the shoulder stacked over elbow, sometimes placing it further in front could cause discomfort in the shoulder. Hope this helps ❤️
@@FitbyLarie Thanks! I actually tried adjusting myself a little more by putting more pressure on my feet and making sure they are properly stacked. That seemed to help! Not sure if its wrong though. lol
