Hi Cindy Lou, the reason is because when people are broken up with because they were neglectful, they in turn become somewhat needy in order to compensate for their past neglect. When people are broken up with because they were a neglectful partner, and they want to get back with the ex that broke up with them, they seldom remain neglectful - Coach Steven

I am EXACTLY in the same place as the Paris girl after a 10 year relationship.. A working lawyer so I was too busy to see that he started looking at other girls, chatting with them and the break up pulled the rug from under my feet & he got with some other girl asap
A coworker took it upon himself to tell my ex,"I know it's none of my business, but she really misses you". He said a big grin spread across his face, and he was *sure* my ex would contact me. What I don't understand is, how can anyone evolve, looks-wise, pick up new hobbies, travel to new exotic places, make new friends, build confidence and do all of that within 2-3 weeks like the coaches suggest? No, it's not a fast process. I'm actually doing all of this now & have still not gotten to a point where I've done it all & it's been 9 months post my breakup. So I can't really understand how you think this is fast. Just my 2 cents.
Hi Pooja, I believe Adrian and Alex threw out 2 or 3 weeks just an arbitrary number. We have no misgivings about the transformation taking much longer than that and are very well aware that it is a much more complicated process. But we have to keep it simple for our audience or else some folks will be overwhelmed by the "mountain" ahead of them and never start the climb - Coach Steven

Coach Adrian I love your videos. Question: my ex broke up with me about 5 months ago. I endured so much through out the relationship and I can't seem to get pass the hurt. I keep getting angry. I feel betrayed hurt abandoned, especially because i miscarried our baby after the breakup. He posts alot on snapchat and it breaks my heart watching him while im emotionally and mentally in so much pain. Hes treating me as if im the one that did him so much wrong and wants to get rid of me. Any advice on how to handle this? Hi Mini Smiley, getting over that much hurt and pain takes time and will surely not happen overnight. It never does. Could you do a video on what to say to an ex when they bring up the relationship or think you're actively trying to get back together with them? My ex and I were talking this morning and I said something that annoyed her and she got mad and said it's reasons like that that we didn't end up getting back together like we were about to. We got deeper into talking and she said that all the changes I've made are only an attempt to get back together with her and that she thinks everything I do is to please her. I responded with something along the lines of how I was changing for me and that I wouldn't try to change just to get her back because that would be forcing it, and that if we were to get back together it would be naturally because I don't think either of us want it right now (because she's changed since we broke up and I think it's just because she's been spending all day every day with her neighbor she only lives next to in the summer and who is a bad influence on her, and if she wanted it then she'd be hinting at it because that's how she works). In an attempt to show her that I'm not jealous, and to replay one of our old inside jokes, I jokingly asked if she's dating him yet. Hi Coach Steven( has been following/responding to my situation,Alex,Nat breaking an unfortunate update to you. Afew days ago I found out (myself not from him) he has a child from his previous relationship ( not marriage ) he kept it from me through the 1.5yrs of LDR. According to him the reason for not disclosing this is that he feared that I would mind the situation. I told him I was willing to accept the situation & give things a try but he was adamant to stay friends despite still having feelings for me. Another reason he got to this point is that he was feeling the pressure from me becos I kept bringing up the progress between us & meeting up. He is so insecure he also lied about his age which turned out to not be an issue... lying is the issue, not the content of the lies for now. I told him his lies were uncalled for & unnecessary. He is still insistent on staying as friends for now. I have started NC, should he reach out which is likely... do I give him a chance & time to be ready to commit again knowing the risk might be he’ll never do that?

Hi, what if you know it’s not a rebound? I was involved with a guy last year and when we got to the question of “where is this going” he said he didn’t want to move forward because of the distance (we live 1000 miles apart). We stayed friends, but he stopped talking to me a couple months ago and is now in a new relationship with a girl who lives even further away than I did. It’s definitely not a rebound and he has made no attempt to reach out in over 2 months. But I miss him terribly and hoped that somewhere down the road we could make it work, which is why I allowed us to stay friends. Is this a hopeless situation, since our initial relationship was pretty casual?
What if my ex boy friend blocked me from iPhone, whattsap, viber, and every social media so I cannot contact him anymore. Because I was very hungry and told him to do so and he did I also told him to never unblock me anymore, to forget about me and to meet someone else. And That's what he did. Now he's dating someone else. What can I do to be unblocked. Can I get him back or is it dead for always ?

I’m dealing with it every single day.
I can’t sleep anymore because or the situation. Since the 13th june the day I was told he has a new girlfriend I sleep less than 3 hours by night. I can’t stop thinking about him everytime . I regret so much I was not myself anymore. I was hyngry for so many days. Every Time I was trying to calm myself the hunger got stronger and stronger. I could not think logicly anymore at this Time. I totaly lost control and regret so much because I know he is THE one for me. Don’t tell me there is nothing to do please.
