You can't really add a color with laser engraving. Otherwise you would have to either paint the color on and add epoxy to keep it from chipping off or use vinyl
Hey just a little recommendation, in my experience if your laser pointer is aimed at just off the tip of the E in the Yeti logo and pick centre engraving after you move it up (to your desired position) you'll be golden
@@loriezweifel3364 no I use an old epilog Legend 75 Watt laser. I can print to it, and when I do a Yeti I print it from the center point. If it's off a bit, I don't know, I can't tell from looking at it, and have had no customer complaints. But to be fair I've never really measured it closely.
Yes definitely! I would just make sure to find out where they have their logo on the tumbler measure it and then use the same process to center the image
I have an Epilog laser 60 watt and love it. There isnt much I cant do with it. It has a super large bed and it is about 6" deep so I can engrave larger items.
Hi, I also have an epilog 60 watt laser, but when I try to engrave a tumbler it never removes the paint enough. There always seems to be a very thin layer left, so the stainless steel color does not show correctly. I’ve tried all sorts of settings and nothing seems to work? Any idea what would cause that?
Hey what speed/power combo are you using on the output specifically for the yeti tumblers? We’ve been doing “polar” brand and have that combo locked in, but I have a yeti i want to do.
I purchase my tumblers already powder coated. You can use any brand that is painted, you can't engrave on plain stainless steel without a special blackening spray.
Great video
For the image do you ahve to do any special skewing or adjustments for the taper?
I usually only engrave on the top side that doesn't have any skewing or taper. I don't have any recommendations for that.
What kinds of machine is that
I have done the same, but want to start from center, is this not possible?
I've tried to center engrave but haven't gotten it to work properly.
I want to know the machine you use
It is an Epilog Mini 24. 60 watt
Thansk you fot the video. how i can add gold color ?

Thanks for the video.
Hi there! Thanks for sharing! Can you use different variations of tumblers....example--- Artic or Pokar brands sold at Buc'ees...
Yes definitely! I would just make sure to find out where they have their logo on the tumbler measure it and then use the same process to center the image
What speed and power
80 speed and 100 power. Mine is a 60 watt. So if your wattage is less I would decrease the speed.
Thx so much for video. Can you recommend a laser. best value for quality engraving

You have to clean the cup after engraving it we use LA awesome it works great.

We use 75% speed and 100% power. Some of the Grey colors do not engrave at all so you just have to watch those.
Thank you for the video. Did you prepare the tumbler or was it already painted? Just starting out.
I purchase my tumblers already powder coated. You can use any brand that is painted, you can't engrave on plain stainless steel without a special blackening spray.
