I wish these came with the option of the standard barrel. The giant barrel kinda look overkill for a 22lr but idk anything about Ruger just getting interested.
the thicker barrel is better for longer shooting sessions, especially when considering accidental "hot cock" (when the chambered bullet fires from excessive heat)
The Ruger Mark IV comes in every previous barrel style. I assume you mean the tapered barrel? You can get the Mark IV with either the 4" or 6" tapered barrels.
