our swimming pool had a very cool chlorine amount. but now since they began accepting special guests the chlorine amount is unbelievable and my nose gets destroyed by it. lets hope this video helps and thank you christian wedoy for helping me perfect some of my swimming techniques!
@@muhidraihan1755 about 2 weeks. i just got used to the chlorine in the pool. before that my friend tried to "teach" me how to block the sinues but it didn't work. after like a week when i dived to the pool i realized that there is no pain and no water in my nose when i go up.
Closing the soft palate doesn’t keep water from flooding your sinuses. It just keeps it from running down your throat. Sinus flooding is a common technique in the merfolk community, and we close our soft palates and blow the water out of our noses before inhaling at the surface. Also doing a sinus rinse such as a neti pot afterward is important for avoiding sinus infections. Also a silicone plug called a “sinus saver” can be worn inside the nostrils to block water from entering the sinuses.
I tried. I can’t. I physically cannot breathe through my mouth. I think years of getting sick with the cold have damaged my sinuses that I can’t close them.
I tried it and it really worked! The one problem I had was when I stopped holding my breath, the water went from my nose to the throat.
I have the same issue and it makes me feel like I'm aspirating the water 😩
When u get out clean ur nose instantly.
@@dionisis_666 ya
You have to blow the water out of your nose as you get to the surface, then it won’t run down your throat
My cousin says you should rub your nose from up to down so the water gets out of your nose.

I dont have a pool so i tried this in the comfort of my house, i can breathe through my nose, i cant breathe through my mouth
I'm confused, if I can't breathe when using this technique then how will I be able to breathe when using the diving mask as shown in the video?
You use the technique to feel what muscle to use and the use the muscle without the tounge
i can’t block my sinuses? 😅
