That's why you should always put a Sim nearby and test every single thing before moving on to the next.
you can also hang things on the fridge by deleting the wall behind and placing the decoration in thin air (they’ll snap to the wall behind the fridge if you don’t) so you don’t have to place the fridge so far from the wall.
Well of course the mirror hack only worked with Vladdy Daddy. Vampires reflections don't show in mirrors so his image disappeared to *become* the mirror. Poetic.

Organized Debug is a lifesaver for a lot of these! There's also a mod to be able to adjust lights in build/buy mode. I can't build without it now!!

When you're following a hack and it's not working, check whether or not they've got the grid on because it affects how objects place (g toggles the grid)
You can actually change the lights colors in build mod, you just need to click on the light while holding shift.

by chance would you know how to cheat only one need of a sims by clicking on the need in question ? i never know how to do it (i knew on the sims 3 and used it a lot..)

I think with the fence hack the person must've used T.O.O.L mod to lower the fences. I'm gonna try some of these out in a bit. The Debug baby fence also made me laugh lol
I do the mirror /painting hack all the time. By deleting the walls, putting the frame just poking out , placing the wall back and adding the mirror or painting I want with the decorative frame

@@irmar the wall that is placed back. It might take a few tries at first.... but then it becomes super easy.
For the fridge gap, you could maybe place another fridge behind it… so it would just look wider..
or just delete the wall behind the fridge and place the decorations in thin air (bb.moveobjects and using 9 to raise them). way better method than the tiktok used imo
@@noahkirschtein8169 yeah, the wall isn't really needed, I've placed wall decorations on all kinds of random things that are not walls just by alt-placing them and raising with 9...

Pretty sure the "debug poles" are in Live Edit. I think the reason you couldn't place the loungers was because you didn't have the slab underneath them. Maybe? You know the thing about the camera bumping up and down? You can disable it if you edit some files in the game. it's realy easy:
go to the game folder
go to the res folder
go to the "camera.ini" file
search for "ignorelotlevel" And switch everything to true
save
done! The camera now no longer does that annoying thing

Oh for the little couch thingy at the pool, you need to hold shift to move it through without it moving up!! Hope this helps 😌

Hold shift when placing objects so you can stop going back to the menu every time lol
I've been messing with windows for awhile. You have to experiment with the overlapping flickering. There are some that don't. Trial and error
If you don't have the T.O.O.L. mod, but you do want to be able to just switch on the moveobjects and debug and liveedit stuff. The createor (twistedmexi) has another mod called BetterBuildBuy and has those cheats intergraded.
You said you don't like the way stuff is 'organized' in the game and you can't find anything. This mod can help. Also :') don't forget to use the search bar. If you just make a small list of the items you love to use and their names ^^ you can search for them quite fast.

you don't need the wall there for the postcards on the fridge, you just have to delete the walls behind the fridge so there's nothing for them to snap to then use the ctrl 9/10 raise and lower function and alt place them.

I love watching your videos. 😍 That last hack she left out the basement trick under the platform. Now I want that pack with those chairs. 😆
The pool hack, you can't use it if your pool is already on a foundation as the platform won't go low enough. If if just on grass. Once you have put the chairs though you need to higher the platform back up then use the pool tool to connect the water to the platform and decorate. The spa day block underneath is just for aesthetic reasons. This is what I found when testing it.
But the chairs are functional ?

Google says that pressing F in build mode lets you edit the lighting... haven't tested it yet though

@@bopperette7260 It's "edit light in build mode" from thepancake1. Alas, it' s been broken since High School Years update. I think it's not updated yet.
TwistedMexi includes it in a bunch of mods too.
@@cocooooamamam How dyu mean not working? You have to hold the light and let go of it and pick it back up before the colour options will appear? If so then yeah it's broke. Other than that it seems to be working fine now. Maybe re-download it again and see if you're still having the same problems
@@bopperette7260 Just press F while holding the light in build mode to change its color. Maybe I need to download it again.
@@cocooooamamam I do but I still end up having to pick up the object a couple of times before you can pick a different colour light. Let me know how you get on! It would be interesting to know if it's just my game that it happens with or if it's just glitchy coz I don't think it's broke. Better exceptions hasn't flagged it or anything. Honestly tho there's other mods where you literally just download the lights and they'll be neon already. I have some in my game that make nightclubs look super cool. I love them. This was an interesting '' hack '' non-the-less lol

Better Build buy by twisted mexi would let you both find the pole from debug easier and change the light color in build mode. Tool mod is also by twisted mexi

can you actually do these sims 4 hacks without cheating, without debug, without having to alter the vanilla way and still do it? that in my mind is a true hack
I think you need to try some of these hacks on medium wall height. The one for Eco Lifestyle requires it.
You can change the color of light in the build mode. Hold shift and click on the light.

I've done pics and notes on the fridge but I just delete the walls and adjust the things to where I want them, then rebuild the walls. Get rid of the nearby counters too if you wanna use photos.

Those poles aren't in debug but Live edit where you get all the world items.
On the fridge one - you could do it like that, then move all of them back a little bit with TOOL
when you drag the sofa over, you're supposed to press "control 0 for down or control 9 for up.
so many of these can be done with tool mod without problem lmao. like the fridge deco for example
