Your daily videos are the only thing that keeps me happy
can relate to this
Came here to say the same thing. Over share, but I’m currently unemployed and his videos help my mental health 😅
Hang in there, guys! P.s. My life sucks right now, too.😂😂
Aw I found my people. Together we shall be the Depressy Messies. Shall we get jackets?
I feel the same ... he is the best thing now in my life
To do this without the tool mod you could make a basement big enough for the sized up table and lift it up.
The problem with basement is lighting issues!
@@SatchOnSims you could try putting lights in the basement maybe? Not really sure how that works. Love this vid! Def taking inspiration Ty
@@juliejulie9093the problem with putting lights in, is that the outside has dynamic lighting, so you would constantly have to change the lights in the basement to match the outside. It can work for furniture inside if you have autolights disabled, but for outside it just doesn't work.
@@juliejulie9093yeah that could work! If you don’t care about the dynamic lighting from through the windows and don’t mind having just ceiling lighting, it could be a nice trick for those not wanting to use TOOL but wanting the aesthetic of the outside of the house.
@@SatchOnSims Use bb.moveobjects on and you can put windows on the outside walls of any basement. You can also place landscaping objects underground. When going first person and looking out of basement windows, the ground become invisible : You can see the sky. You also see anything ON the ground.
You can't say anymore that you are not a builder ... this was brilliant and a lot of fun to watch. Thank you!
You should make more building trick videos. I love it.
for me the TOOL mod is an absolute must have, it's so useful
it is slightly tricky to get the hang of but once you learn it it almost seems like part of the game
having a carpet in a house in a hot location is something you would soon regret 😅
I'll say when i first saw the thumbnail I thought it would end up looking bad but your version is actually super pretty i love it, I love the plant awning
The fact that some shelves will fit objects and the one above it wont drives me bananas
Move objects on should work without the Tool mod I think, and to make it bigger you could make the table twice as big and have 2 floors with a larger floorspace inside the table, it's definitely a cool hack.
I wish you used the Machino stuff pack curved windows and you can also put on a curved roof, to use for an overhang or cover for the porches, and then put the coffee table back after doing all that. As for the bathrooms and bedrooms, I would remove the windows on the end and place them there.
I’m always so amazed by how creative people can in build mode
Amazing build! The "ps" idea item made me think of a weird Sims solution to homeless townies. Stack them up in geometric one room studio apartments.
When I was a kid, there was a house made to look like a space ship we would always look for when we drove by. Weirdly, in like the 60s or so, it was a bit of a trend. 😂
Wow, I like houses like that. This looks like an awesome build. I've been recently into these clinical white modern/dystopian/futuristic pod like aesthetic. Like the ones from the Institute mixed with Vault Tec (Fallout 4) and maybe a bit of Mass Effect Citadel vibes. Been looking cc's like that but this one actually looks cool, might try it.
I love this kind of aesthetic too. The only flaw it wasnt really open plan.
The Black Mirror episode called White Bear freaked me out because I had such a dejavu feeling watching it. Then I realized it's because it was filmed in the exact temporary housing I lived in when my family was stationed at High Wycombe Air Station in the 90's! A very surreal moment.
sims do need the shade. idk if it's a basegame thing or a seasons thing, but sims can get some sort of heatstroke type thing. idk if it causes death like if they spend too long in the cold, but i know they get some moodlet thingy when it's hot and they spend too much time in the sun
They can die from the heat as well
That moving the grid up and down trick is going to change my life 😅
did satch take a video of himself one day doing a bunch of faces, put the beautify filter to 100 twice and then screenshot it for every thumbnail? no shade the only honest sims 4 youtuber x
Love this! You are getting really good at build mode!! 🎉❤
It looks like a luxurious static caravan, imagine the future caravan parks with those
The black mirror vibes are so real
9:27 This table came with the infant update I believe 😁
This reminds me of my "alien" houses in Sims 3. For Into the Future and Lunar Lakes I made a bunch of "floaty" houses as my nieces say, where there is no first floor and no pillars and the house just floats in the air with a staircase.
You know what I called my shower bath combo as a kid shabath lol
For your LP, could you maybe do an episode where the sisters' parents pay them a surprise visit
I had no idea you could move the grid like that! That is so helpful!
Omg please do more buildings with tables, that apartment one looks really cool and would be really interesting to use with roommates since we can't own apartment buildings
I love modern architecture, so i love what you've done here
I really like the idea! Plus to decorate the cabinet from dream home decorator you can put a separate shelf in the top 2 shelves.
I love the idea of the apartments based on the coffee table! Can't wait to see that build, it will be really cool!
I love this house so much !!! ❤
Satch, if you press the letter "m" while your putting items on slots, it will shift your item through every available slot on the object you are placing the clutter on
I love that idea. I saw another RUclipsr do the same thing. I tried it myself a while ago, and rocks under a build sometimes mess up the pathing of sims inside a build. I like the other coffee table apartment idea. I may try it out.
The Sims 4: where pillars are corners, oven hoods are pillars and coffee tables are unfurnished houses.
Build more of these, house in an object, creations
I love this! It's just the futuristic look i was wanting!
loved it! you’re qualified to do housing designs in final fantasy XIV now 😂 in that game it’s an art to use stuff and make something completely different out of it
as someone who lives in arizona ... you absolutely can have regular plants.
they're a pain in the butt to keep alive, but you can have them! 😂
This looks so beautiful! You seriously undersell your Sims building abilities 😄
This is great and the kinds of building I do. I love using objects for other purposes and TOOL helps tremendously.
I want that pathway so bad
The TOOL mod is one of the must have mods. With it, you are no longer limited to the lot's limits when doing landscaping.
Place the whole bathroom UNDER the house... Or even in the open right next to the sidewalk. Sims don't care. Another option : On the roof.
Clutter is growing up to me. It's a way to prevent your Sims from leaving dirty dishes in some crazy places. Dirty dishes where you don't want to ? Place some clutter there to fill up the slot of that object. Have half walls ? Place clutter on them or they'll be covered with dirty dishes.
Don't worry about the mail box. If there's none, the game will add the default one as soon as you leave build mode.
9:12 yes!! the bathroom floor in my old house was carpet! and it was beige too 🤣🤣😭 so my mom went ballistic anytime it got wet LMFAO
I've always called it a shower-tub!
😱 omg it’s endless the impossibilities that the SIMS community can do I’m in awe. And you recreating any build is wonderful and as always brilliant with your commentary bloody hilarious loved every minute ❤😂
Second build you started seemed interesting
I can't be the first person to say this, but your laugh brings me so much joy!
What in the live, laugh, love is going on?! 😂😂😂😂😂
I love you, I love your videos, you're adorable and sassy af.
Satch's building era?!
you should try to do it with a dollhouse
I think it'll be really cool
I literally used those paintings in my modern build 😭😭😭
Bro you actually did a lovely "garden" 4real
the absolute worst is when it does the door glitch to an exterior door or window in an apartment because you literally can't fix it
Love this, si cool and creative! Would love to see you do this challenge with other tables/furniture in future videos.
Your builds are always so beautiful. Love to watch more of your builds
Omg bless you for being willing to deal with all of the technical issues! I would have given up after 20 mins of trying to get everything to align 😆
The first one reminds me of the Intitute from Fallout 4
That door glitch happens to me all the time in build mode. All you have to do it click on it though and click off/cancel any actions, so you shouldn't need to move it for it to fix. It seems to happen completely randomly for me, but I just click on it and it fixes right away.
I've heard once that it's some glitch with moveobjects, but I don't know if that's true
@@BlueSodaPop_ It's not! I very rarely use moveobjects, and it's happened to me in builds where I didn't turn moveobjects on even once. Don't know what's causing the glitch, but it's definitely not moveobjects.
@@leaflenster7340 oh, okay! I heard people say it was because of the cheat but I didn't really know how to verify that! I guess it must be some other issue then, and knowing the game it probably won't be fixed very soon because it's not game-breaking enough lol
Love this build!
loved this video, the house looked so cute
i've had doors do that without me noticing when i did a quick pop in to build mode and next thing i know my sims are trapped because the door is technically gone. and i didn't use moveobjects to put it there or anything, i placed it normally, so it shouldn't glitch like that
Was waiting for your daily upload 🙈
Satch open plan means no walls 😂 I think it would’ve looked nicer and gave more space without em. But this is such a good hack! I can’t be bothered to do it myself so will have to find one on the gallery but this is really awesome as a tiny build.
This would’ve definitely worked as a 2 bedroom too! Fit up to 3 sims 2 adults and a kid, or 1 adult and two kids. Feel like a 4 person family would be on top of each other here.
Was like yeh im looking forward to this coffee took a sip and 2:18 spat coffee everywhere 😂
This was wicked :D loved it!
Reminds me of Lunar Lakes.
I feel like Johnny Zest will be getting a home renovation, lol
It looks like the Disneyland House of the Future
I have Got to try this now! Such a cool build!
This is actually really cool
Wow that's a very cool idea! Wanna try something similar in Sims 3
I’m totally gonna try this. This intrigued me 😅
Honestly, I really wish there was someone on youtube making various different weird and more original builds like this one. I haven't come across any yet, but normal building videos in ts4 are boring to death. I can watch one, and every next one after that feels like I'm having a deja vu. There's nothing original about them :/. I really liked this video and this build, finally something new.
This was great! I've never seen this before .
This is a brilliant idea!
TIP: when using TOOL always place item you want to elevate after on the lowest possible floor can be selected in order to make it stay visible when you switch to the higher ones
This is not that much different from the spaceship house on Signal Mountain (near Chattanooga, TN). (You can look up pics of it online.)
It looks like this house I saw on a show called most interesting air bnbs
I love your videos smmm there my fav 🤭
Your smart I swear
Ooo i love the kitchen
I hate when the door gets stuck in the wall too same thing happens with windows more for me
i feel like it needs something on the roof. doesn't need to be a roof, but something on top. it looks weird just like that. as for the color, if you change the color from white, you need to keep the stove hood color in mind, because it looks a bit off that those 2 pillars are white while the other 4 are black
This reminds me of the futuro.ufo house. Some amazing sim builder should try and make it. We have one close to where I live.
This was so fun! Love the effort!
Very creative lol :D
lol you should see my fishtank house
appears to be called a "shower bath" hehehe
Looking forward to apartments
Please size those rugs up with TOOL :D
Honestly, the ability to suze rugs up in smaller increments is worth the mod alone
Gallery?
Gallery now?
I made the entire roof of glowing cubic tables once (don't remember which pack it's from) and then made a pixel-art of them using swatches)) sadly, they can not be resized, but they fit 1 tile perfectly
Wait I thought you used the TOOL mod before.....? Am I living in a parallel universe or some sht?!?! Is this one of those Mandela Effects or Deja Vu moments?!? Anyways this was a cool idea.
He used tool in a short where he made a giant functional tent
@@dalkay Okay well at least I'm not going completely crazy lol
Square everything up make it crip clean and you have a Frank Lyold Wright home from the 1950's in America
what in the live laugh love is going on? 😂
Wonderful!!!❤
That person should put it on the gallery so i can download it on my Xbox and play it please but i don't have highschool years so probably won't be able to play anyway😂🥺
Make a shed house from home depot.
2:18 🤣🤣🤣
Was this by the same person who made a house inside of a microwave and a rodent cage & I think a fish tank too
lmao i love this vid.
