I'm all for routines but I am so thankful my mom let my brother and me have "off" from routines in the summer and just let us enjoy ourselves. We did our chores but my mom knew I was a night owl and I was allowed to sleep in a lot of mornings.
I have been making a weekly and daily sheet for a long time. It changes on and of as things get scratched out that have been completed to new things added. By Saturday, I am ready to start a new paper for the new week, and anything left over from the previous week gets transfered to the new week. Keeps me from having all that up in my head swirling around all day and night every day. A real helper that. God Bless.
Garden is looking great. I've learned from growing tomatoes that if you pinch off the lower stems you get more fruits growing. So tons of tomatoes! I would say it goes for peppers as well. Keep that green thumb going. Plants are so relaxing..
You and I have the same handwriting which is so funny because I think your birthday is in August too! We both do the same thing seasonally with our kiddos and with our schedules we have so much in common I love it ❤I love seeing another mama go all out for their kiddos and home💕👏🏼

I make a list of stuff I need to add to the order and when I'm done with that I write out all the meals for the week and grant I have a small family but it helps having stuff figured out and I have a planner now so i do what you do with the schedules.what I'm saying is your an inspiration and I just think your awesome thank you
I plan things for lunch that my kiddos make themselves, that way I don't have to stop what I'm doing. They're homeschooled, so they're used to it throughout the year

Hi Lauren, Just wondering do you and your family like Mexican desserts? My husband is Mexican And I'm Polish my mother in law use to make Flan, churros, 3 milk cake. Just wondering.
I used to separate the whites and wash whites only. But it’s been a loooong time that I stopped (years) and have been washing them altogether. No issues what so ever. However, please note that if I’m washing a new pair of dark jeans for the first time (some jeans will have a tag saying, “color may bleed when washed”), then I’ll wash all the jeans together AND wash the whites with other colors. Otherwise I’ll run one load each for my daughter, son, husband, & myself.

I got my kids a sewing machine a few months ago and found several kids sewing books with projects on thrift books for very cheap. ❤❤❤
I do theme days also,and i love it.i get to do more things with the kids when i plan it out😊

For craft time buy a round vinyl table cloth to put down before the kids start. It will make clean up soooo much easier!

I never wash whites separately always put in with colours and have no problem
