You guys are literally the best food channel on youtube! Love your recipes..and love how random you guys are..fusion of Mexican and middle eastern with Indian music in the background! Keep up the good work guys. Cheers! and love from India! :)
You guys are my favorite ever! the quality of the video is amazing, you guys are getting better, better, better and amazing better. sending you love Thanks
Nana Syrian Mate, did you even read my comment? I said "Arab dish" + "Mexican twist" + "Indian Music" I don't see myself saying Arabic music anywhere. Comprehension is important my friend. Next time read before you jump to conclusions. PS: "It is" and not "Its" It's is a contraction for it is or it has while Its indicates possessive.
I have a vegan sour cream recipe so I'm going to try making these this weekend. Thanks for the tip. I've always felt something was missing from falafel. Although, as I mentioned to you on another video, once you make falafel with fava you won't go back to making them with chickpeas.
its 10am. i just finished my breakfast. and i'm binge-watching your videos with 0 intention of cooking anything. its better than a lot of netflix shows
That looks amazing. The one thing I notice tho, Americans tend to think that Mexican taco means ground beef with lettuce cheese and tomato. But I've had Mexican tacos made by a lot of different Mexican friends and even at Mexican restaurants around my neighborhood (not the chain ones) and they serve their tacos with diced steak/ chicken/ pork cilantro onion and lime. Taco Bell isn't Mexican food... Looks delicious tho I'll give you that
Mexican Falafel. Plays Bollywood/Indian music...Fusion indeed. I often have my falafel with pineapple curry sauce, they offer it here at a Lebanese place. Sounds weird, but it is really worth a try.
Don’t have no black beans at the moment but I have freshly cooked chickpeas left over from using the AQUAFABA for my vegan sweet potato pie but I’m going to use everything but the beans and try them next time. Great vid!
Seriously good video. Falafel is so cheap to make and so freakin' tasty. Plus, the music and the editing for this video = awesome. Really enjoy your videos and the way you break down cooking and shopping for groceries. Quick question, not a fan of black beans, could I use pinto beans or would it mess up the texture?
I love what you did there! What I do is just make a salsa out of chiles chipotles, onion and garlic super spicy and instead of sour cream make some milk kefir and let it dry using a coffee filter and a strainer. That yogurt you end up with its sooooooo damn delicious with all the othe strong flavors!
Doubt anyone will end up seeing this now but... I'm new to using dried chickpeas and beans and I've just soaked mine overnight but I made far too many. Can I keep these spare ones for another day? And if so, how long for? Great channel btw, guys.
I'm Mexican, and my grandpa is jewish and I had this idea because i had no pita but I had tortillas (same thing) so i made a falafel burrito with tihini..
as an israeli i have to say you did a nice job, but authentic falafel doesnt have any black beans in it. and you should have made the mix a lot finer than it turned out to be for you. and avocado is the best thing to combine falafel with in a nice peta with hummus tahena and amba ( dont know what amba is called in english but its basically mango juice mixed with a bunch of hurbs) and enoy
This is AWESOME but it did concern me that not much Mexican spice went in to this. Original falafel has an array of Mediterranean spices like cumin, and I feel that for Mexican falafel, it could have been replaced with maybe chili powder and cayenne for some heat. The sauce looks great though.

Caitlin Fox any dried bean should work just fine. The black beans gave it great flavor, almost tasted like a chicken nugget!
These guys are the goat
Arabic food so tasty, i'm feeling hungry watching this video
I was surprise to hear Indian music in Mexican recipe ..I love the Baja souse
Brothers Green :The mexicans are the masters of flavor.
Italians and the French :Hold our beers.
daaaaaaamn! I'm drooling.
Gotta try looks so good and easy to make🖒
Always down to try a twist on traditional falafel! Thanks

I just have one question. Where did you get your tongs from???? everyone seems to have the same ones but I have no idea where they're from!
Looks great ! I have been in real need of some new and interesting recipes :)

0:45 when you start building up your falafel tolerance
i am in love with both of u. this recipe looks bangin as well.
You guys are awesome! I love your channel :)
The Music caught me off guard but i still enjoyed it.
Thanks for recipe Falafels..Where you bout tool which you used for falafels?
I so need to try this.. that looks amazing.
Can you bake these?
Another tasty treat to be had!! Great vids keep it up. :-)
Any chance you could include the calorie/nutrition info for your videos? These look amazing! Subbed.
Tried this, in my opinion theres a little too much garlic but thats taste.
Tip: If your falafel dont stick try with flour!
Love your channel btw
Hi!
Instead of frying them, could I instead bake them in the oven?
Or would it not work?
Thanks :)
hey guys! I'm gonna try to make this, with canned chick peas and black beans. what amount of each should I use ?
Hey guys who made the music for this video? Some of your videos include a music credit but this one does not. Did you guys make this track?
omg yes YES!!! YESSSS!
these guys should open a food truck who agrees
Nice!! Definitely subscribing to you!!
Disha Shah glad you enjoy! so many videos you can catch up similar to this!
Brothers Green Eats oh I spent the whole night watching all your videos. Thanks for being awesome man..
Disha Shah You gotta love bindge watching show that you just found...
Im gonna try this on some pita bread
Nicholas Christian hell yes!
might be a stupid question, but how many black beans and chick peas do I put in the falafels
+36shadowboy Tbh it's kind of your own preference. I'd recommend the ratio a little chickpea-heavy so it leans more toward the falafel flavor/texture.
Do you also have a tutorial for the standard tahini sauce?
It's pretty hard to make and cheaper to buy
I made this, I dont like normal falafel, but this was good.
The only thing I would've done different is a baja sauce/ tzaziki combo
how do you know how much legumes to use?
Would you guys ever consider making daily vlogs? It would be awesome!
David Downey funny you say that, we just filmed our first the other day! should air next week
mexican food and indian music. wow!
Doubt anyone will end up seeing this now but... I'm new to using dried chickpeas and beans and I've just soaked mine overnight but I made far too many. Can I keep these spare ones for another day? And if so, how long for?
Great channel btw, guys.
+taylorjed1991 Also, my chickpeas are still hard after like 12 hours of soaking. Do I use them like this?
+taylorjed1991 yes you can use them a day later, they should be hard
this looks amazing! going to try it for sure
can i just use a normal blender if i don't have the food processor???
romi276 you can give it a shot but its hard to get the coarse falafel mixture you want without it. Thats what gives you the nice crispyness
oh okay gotcha! thank you
The song is fucking dope
I know right? It's so energetic. I love it
honestly guys, where do you get your music from? this is great!
That'd be so dope with some avocado!!
Carly Marie Everything is more dope with avocado!
+Carly Marie You might like our channel! We've got a pretty sweet Mexican Fiesta episode. Check it out and let us know what you think!
+Food Ink Events and Catering Can you stop self advertising for fuck's sake?

Loving the Indian music with this totally non Indian recipe! Although, i'm loving it cause it's vegetarian! :D
Pooja Parekh Arabic falafel with mexican sauce cooked by an american with indian background music.
fab, thx much
Hi loved your recipes
Please show more vegetarian options
I SAW A LEMON BUT HE SAID TO ADD LIME! WHICH DO I ADD?
Josh Bayliss WHO CARES?
That background music is Indian music very common in weddings. :)
I don't like the taste of coriander( or cilantro if you prefer). Can I leave it out or substitute it for something else?
Marit Schulte parsley would work great as well. Thats the traditional herb used in falafel
Wt can I add instead of chipotle???
I'm Mexican, and my grandpa is jewish and I had this idea because i had no pita but I had tortillas (same thing) so i made a falafel burrito with tihini..
was it good??
yes,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
