Pasembur....good enough. However, if you want to pronounce it like a true penangite, you can say 'pasemboq' (pass-em-bog). Helps if you grunt a lil bit at the end. Also, if you ate something delicious and want to tell your friends about it, you can say "Sedap nak mampuih, habaq hang" which translate to "It is to die for, let me tell you". It's great that you have so much knowledge of the ingredients and flavour profiles. You get to accurately discern what's really on point and what's not. And of course, once you're used to spice, you kind of want it on everything. I have a German friend who got used the the spice and she had a blast eating all the food I took her to. Addicted to bananaleaf which always left the restaurant staff tickled pink. I always think its a blessing when you have a multicultural palette because you really get to enjoy everything. Eating with your hands..bonus. Well done! You're definitely doing it right. I must admit to being super curious about your backstory. Hope you put that up some day. Your mum sounds awesome too. Have a good one!

Hey Max.. great video as always.. you really seemed to enjoy all the food here. Btw, maybe you can make a video on things you like and don’t like about during your visit in Malaysia.
That roti canai at Transfer Road is unbelievably good! We still think of it from time to time and almost missed our flight to Langkawi going back a second time
@@Macoi24 don't think they can. it's too secluded and out of town. tourists, luckily, do not come to such places just for a roti canai, then take the cab back out for another food type. I don't quite like the Gemas road one. but nearby is a good court called Lai Lai. the gravy there is better.
