I have friends that have lived in Texas for years & they love it! One lives in El Paso & the other one lives in Brownsville. Only complaint they have is the weather! No matter the amount of money you make per hour at a job if you know how to budget, cut out all unnecessary spendings & focus on the necessities that you need to survive you’ll be able to survive on your salary! I pray everything you guys are planning falls into place! Proverbs 3 vs 5/6 always reminds me that if you trust in the Lord with all your heart & lean not on your own understandings and in all your ways acknowledge him, he will direct your path! Chef and Rita, that was a good move to El Paso! I spent more than 10 years stationed there on Fort Bliss!! I really enjoyed living there! I stayed at the Northeast side and it was a beautiful place!! We use to run that Trans mountain path!! El Paso is much affordable then Washington!! And there are a lot of Samoan there!!! You are in a good place!!!!

Thank you for sharing. I had this nagging feeling to move to WA from UT because I hate hot weather. You are the answers I needed from Father God. Seeing your experiences especially as a Samoan family is helping my family too. We are only a family of four but still have the struggle of trying to find affordable and safe place especially for my growing kids' future. I pray and trust God will always be with my kids, but can't help as a mother to still try to help secure a better future for my babies. Great video family. Thank you again for sharing. Hello from CA! I’m thinking Chef that when you are in the hospital maybe you are sensitive to the pollutants and whatever else gets trapped in there. And along with being around sick people also there you get exposed to germs and weakens your immune system. When I was younger I was a banker and I found out when I was older I was allergic to the molds in the air conditioning. It’s a drastic change in weather and much drier in Texas. Just make sure you always carry lots of water of Gatorade and snacks since you all are taking long walks. And if Chef starts coughing a lot or doesn’t feel well make sure he gets checked by a doctor. But I am glad he changed his diet and that is helping him a lot. Life always changes. But you are all a strong family. Continue to help and watch out for each other. I’m glad the older kids are helping out their parents. Everything will work out just take your time, relax, focus on your health so you can enjoy watching the little ones grow up. That little Gardenia makes me laugh so much! Big change from when I started watching Rona and her cooking during Covid. Then I got sad when she moved away and thought there would be no more videos. But she’s all grown up and happily married and in the Army. So I watched the older videos. And now I can’t stop watching because of Gardenia and her chips. lol! Take care everyone! It wasn't an easy decision to make then we decided to move again across the ocean to Sydney Australia. I followed your journey away from WA State and it was the same route that me and my family took. We currently reside in San Antonio, TX now and have been here for 4 years and counting. I love it in TX and would not change it for anything. WA State I did not like because it was rainy, cold, foggy, gray skies, and you hardly see the sun.

Hello from CA! I’m thinking Chef that when you are in the hospital maybe you are sensitive to the pollutants and whatever else gets trapped in there. And along with being around sick people also there you get exposed to germs and weakens your immune system. When I was younger I was a banker and I found out when I was older I was allergic to the molds in the air conditioning. It’s a drastic change in weather and much drier in Texas. Just make sure you always carry lots of water of Gatorade and snacks since you all are taking long walks. And if Chef starts coughing a lot or doesn’t feel well make sure he gets checked by a doctor. But I am glad he changed his diet and that is helping him a lot. Life always changes. But you are all a strong family. Continue to help and watch out for each other. I’m glad the older kids are helping out their parents. Everything will work out just take your time, relax, focus on your health so you can enjoy watching the little ones grow up. That little Gardenia makes me laugh so much! Big change from when I started watching Rona and her cooking during Covid. Then I got sad when she moved away and thought there would be no more videos. But she’s all grown up and happily married and in the Army. So I watched the older videos. And now I can’t stop watching because of Gardenia and her chips. lol! Take care everyone! Thanks for sharing all your memories with us.😊

It wasn't an easy decision to make then we decided to move again across the ocean to Sydney Australia. I followed your journey away from WA State and it was the same route that me and my family took. We currently reside in San Antonio, TX now and have been here for 4 years and counting. I love it in TX and would not change it for anything. WA State I did not like because it was rainy, cold, foggy, gray skies, and you hardly see the sun.

Leaving Washington for ElPaso is a big big change, and I get it. ElPaso is hot but the hispanic people are great and welcoming. I was in Ft Bliss so Elpaso holds a special place in my heart.
