Thank you ma'am 😊
You are welcome
Excellent 👍
Thank you
Please suggest me which media is suitable for fecal coliform test by pour plate method. And how we can prepare this media?
M-FC agar.
Can I use this method with a complex sample (like soil or bee pollen) to first culture and count the colonies with serial dilutions and then use the cultures from the serial dilutions to isolate the different resulting colonies to create pure cultures?
Yes. You can
@@MicroChemsExperiments thanks, colonies will grow inside the agar or in the surface?
Inside the agar media
TQ
You are welcome
Maam , can we use this method for Nutrient agar ?
Yes. You can
Why do you turn the plate upside down?
to collect water of condensation on the lid.
Exactly
Mam is VRBA media in this vidio is Autoclave? because VRBA is not autoclave
Watch the video again. I just talked about general procedure media preparation. I said, Either you have to boil or you need to autoclave.
@@MicroChemsExperiments Now its clear
What formula will we use to calculate CFU/g by this method?
What will be the dilution factor?
Could we use this method to test the viability of probiotics in ice cream?
what about colony forming units please explain
Please take help from Google database
what kind of agar base you're using in this tutorial?
For milk and Milk product and some product, we can use Violet Red Bile Agar
VRBL Agar
I want to ask. Stomacher bag are use or not in this experiment ?
We didn't use stomacher bag. Because no need of use in this technique.
@@MicroChemsExperiments seriously . Because our lab manual there is written has a stomach bag
@@nurulizzah6248 Generally, tomacher bag is used for sample preparation. But in this video, I didn't show any sample preparation. I just explained the procedure of pour plate method. That's why I didn't use stomacher bag in this video.
