    The best summary I've heard of this book. The biggest thing I got from the book was to take that special time out just for yourself to do something creative every week.

    I'm reading the book through for the second time and just uploaded my first video on it :) i totally agree with your main takeaway about how quantity is way more important than quality, at least to get the creative juices flowing

    Thank you I want to start journaling and was going to download an app but the last thing I need is more time on my phone! I was curious about this book and your review helped me decide to buy it. Also thank you for the quote it's going down in my journal.

    That was a very concise and full overview of the book. Sounds like it had some great exercises to follow each day. Thanks for sharing

    This is the way to reconnect with your creative self aka inner artist/child. 👩🏼‍🎨
    I love my artist date, me-time is important for an introvert who loves to dive deep into arts and explore the infinite possibilities.
    Quantum jump to new realities. ⚡️

    Wonderful thank you. I love to hear about how you go about making these summaries, what is your process and approach. I love to learn from you and know in order to make a 3 min video here, what is required from you. Peace and Power to you.

    Thanks for the review. By the way, that quote is not from Aristotle, it's from Will Durant's The Story of Philosophy where he summarizes some of Aristotle's writings...

    I see you mentioned using the workbook. With there being the original book and also the workbook, are both necessary for the 12 weeks? If not, which one do you recommend? Thanks

    I tired to read this when I was 19 and I don't think I was ready. I'm 28 now and completely burnt out in my government job. 😭

      12 weeks have past since your post, did you start the book?

    • @aidenignition
      @aidenignition 7 месяцев назад

      @@ashpash2977I did! I did the morning pages for a few weeks, but I have to admit I didn’t do very many artists dates.
      It did help me at least get started back into some creative things. I feel like I need to do some interpersonal work within my family before I can truly commit to art.
      If you have more freedom and less obligations in your daily life I absolutely believe this will help! The morning pages alone do a lot to free up your mind from the mental static we subject ourselves to in this hyper digital age.

      Library. I'm surprised nobody ever says this. I would have saved so much money had i just used the library. Don't get me wrong I like the books that I bought but if I'd known that I could get some of them from my library for free I would have done that instead.

    Don’t think you need to state the bleeding obvious ie “12 weeks, one chapter for each week”. Unless a Martian is watching your video, I think we can figure it out……..
