Can't disagree with anything you said. It's "Self-Evidently" True. Intuitively, much of this I already knew, but it was good to hear someone point it out in detail. I'm not retired yet (Retired from NYPD but still working) but I think "Retire TOOOO something almost sums it up. Dogs really help. German Shepherds are the best furry friends. Just lost1 of my 3 to a tick infection. Had no idea that they were deadly. This will NEVER EVER happen again. Now I know what to look for and it's not just physical ticks. Often, you do not see them. They infect and leave. Hope I just saved someones dog by saying this. Get your dogs checked. Eventually I'm retiring overseas. The USA is no longer the country I grew up in. (Saying this as a veteran etc. ) Good job. Keep up the good work. Thumbs up.
