Good videos. Enjoying your progress. All this DC wiring is why i spent the money pn DCC to start.

Wiring is an issue I am trying hard not to think about at the moment! 😂

I stayed away from the double crossover because I wanted to keep things simple. Of course, I only have one loop but a long switching branch. I look forward to your further adventures in Model Railroading. Good luck and cheers.

Many thanks, Maurice. Yes, it does rack up the complexity a bit for the beginner. It's more about the ability to co-ordinate - in my case - and I'm sure that, with practise, operating multiple turnouts will become second nature! Hopefully! LOL

It might not be a bad idea to add a 3rd track as well as a curve. That way you could put in a station with a centre express track

I need to serious get my head down and start looking at some plans for permanent layouts. As a beginner my ideas are very basic! Thanks for the suggestion!

Have you considered going digital? Then wiring up the Layout is as simple as it gets. It is a bit more expensive but you can control each loco individual no matter where they are on the Layout. I just don't know if your locos are actually dcc capable. Problem with analog is that you have to have a way to electricaly disconenct the loops and the sidings from each other to control them individually.
In short, with analog you control individual parts of the track. With DCC you control individual locos.

That's defiantly something I'll be looking int a bit further down the line. I've so much to learn learn! 😉

I think the definition os dual and duel are the same in UK. I suspect you're using the wrong one.

No doubt! I need to pay more attention to the scripts for my videos, at the moment I just make things up as I go along! LOL

I am a newbie. Please tell, to run two trains on the same track does one need two controllers?

Not to run them on the same track, two lines would need one controller each. If you Google DCC (Digital Command Control) that will give you information on how to run multiple trains more flexibly. Good luck.
