Hi there! Today playing with new gear - BEHRINGER PRO VS MINI over an ambient loop. Using Valhalla Shimmer for the wide atmosphere and PaulXStretch with VITAL for the background drone. Overall I like this mini synthesizer despite of not so great responsiveness of a keyboard and cheesy waveforms :) Nice arpeggiator and sequencer tho.

I love ambient in general but most of all anything dark, and it is so neat watching the track get made as it's happening. I put this on to make laundry more interesting, but now I'm just watching the video. Ambient was one genre I never thought I would see made.

Great track! Shimmer really is the one stop plugin for massive ambient ... errrr .., shimmer. Anything that goes through it comes out in another universe!

@@RaKanMusik true, it went well. The patch instructions are easy to follow and after you've put a few hours into the device you can learn the ins and outs quite well such that you could copy a patch quickly.

Hi! Thank you! As far as I know now such functionality unfortunately. Only maybe in sequencer you can write same keys in all slots and set release to maximum

You can run anything through reverb to make it sound great. I always get little disappointed when there is a title like this, then btw used reverb. It doesn’t prove anything. I wanna see the extent of what the device itself can pull off.
Hi! With more budget does a wave table synth from Modal or Arturia (or Korg, or Hydrasynth) would be « way » better or does the VS mini could be as good?
Hi. Personally I would prefer something more advanced and better sounding. Even Volca FM2 would be better choice than this one (but its not wavetable) modal's Argon 8 is very good one. Hydrasynth extremely good 😅 Pro Vs Mini have pretty cheesy waveforms and I personally like only "basic ones" like saw sine etc... But as first synth to just start your journey - it could be really good choice mainly because of functionality/price ratio.

using a DAW with this is kinda cheating ;) lets hear all hardware version jk this is nice. I also like my Pro vs mini
Thanks.This kind of drone is hard to make with HW I own. Hydrasynth is capable but it will be more Sci-fi / cosmic vibes - maybe I need to try some other approach in patches development. With AE Modular will be even harder 😅
A touch of reverb? You know sonically, reverb is the killer of all musicality.

Anything sounds good with a big reverb ... Even that pile of crap.
