I've got a question about the bit you start explaining at 16:10.
How do you add an elder influence to your 2-mod magic bow and then imprint it again? Wouldn't the "add a random influence modifier" craft either turn the item into a rare or require it to be rare in the first place, making it impossible to create a new imprint once it's influenced (and therefore requiring you to get elder influence again every time you imprint back)?

Been playing PoE on / off casually since 2013 and never really got far mainly due to always making my own builds not looking up anything tho that changed bit with time, i still run my old builds but i was watching such as ur mapping video which really helped me gain watchstones way quicker, helpful content, pleasureful voice and u explain it in a way that u care about it aswell as u seem very passive / neutral to what u explain which is really enjoying, deffiantly subbing. - Keep up the good content and thanks for getting me further in the game after years .

@@denios36 The first two possible ways that come to mind are either play a lot and learn about the value of different rare items (lots of people sell items waaaay below their worth) or play the trading game/flip currency and items for profit.
60ex is nothing when you know you're going to make thousands.

The real investment here isn't actually the currency. It's time. Just buying all of those beasts must take you a long ass time. Then you also have to do all the actual crafting and finding people who will sell their harvest crafts, especially the rarer ones might take a long time too, especially if there simply isn't anyone who has the craft you need. And that's assuming noone scams you. They could just take your base and start on their own, there's that risk as well. Honestly, I'd rather get another job than put in this much time and effort making virtual pixels (I'm not saying it's a bad thing to do, but that's just my perspective, as much as I love this game, it's still just a game to me).

I agree, I rather flip currency than this cause of finding all harvests and beasts. Even better, how about just play the game, juice your maps, do some boss killing. It still makes you currency in the long run.
@@shekki3192 Well, if your goal is currency, this is a good way to do it. If it's all about having those mirrors and being able to afford anything you want, this will get you there faster. So it's not better to just do maps. However, if you care more about the gameplay, then this method is the antithesis of what you want to be doing - it all comes down to your priorities and the time you're willing to invest into it.

What is the R4 physical mod on the bow? For the crafted mods there is the quality, speed and 3 crafted mods itself. So how do you get the R4 physical mod on there what’s shown in the video?

How do the changes to harvest craft will affect this crafting method in general? Up to adding influence, it would be the same I assume? But how to proceed then? I Can only imagine something like pre + suff cannot be changed and then use re-roll since to my understanding remove won't exist any more and add is only for non influenced base types?
I am especially interested in the bow you took as an example, how would you get the 60% to deal double bleed in 3.14?
For the love of economics, you cannot forgo the initial opportunity cost of the fix cost investment of 60ex, even if the infinite duping would diminish the fixed cost to a negligible level. Also, do take note the effect of inflation, which is if they dupe enough of a certain base type, the value of the base type would decrease, making each dupe less profitable to the extend that you may no longer profit from the sales of the item. Moreover, even on standard, different patches with nerfs and buffs would have an effect on the price of different bases due to build popularity, so ultimately the original 60ex invested base item will still be depreciable. Lastly, factoring in the time taken to sell the item, and storage space required to store these item are all opportunity costs that we have to bear.

Cool information I just don’t have time to bother learning how to craft at this level.
It’s not a terribly complex concept, but it costs dozens of exalts to get the original base item and like 3-5ex to dupe it each time, so you need a large sum of wealth to even start using this method.

this is what i love about this game. i remember that reddit post from way back when and all i could think was "good for him". honestly each league i look forward to hearing about how a single person or small group of people find some new way to completely ravish the game or economy.
i don't get jealous because i don't care about having tons of currency. this means im not willing to go through all of the trading and time spent to dedicate myself in doing these things. however im completely fine with others doing so. its pretty ridiculous that some people baby rage just because others get rich. so much so you even need to say a disclaimer at the start of this video to not dox/harass these players, essentially. its pretty fucking pathetic.

Great video as always Matth! Is it possible to do this with delve mods, like +1 to max spectres? In this case, would we just get the base with the enchant with three mods, then split and hope to get +1 on its own, then harvest craft a second mod to make the base?

I just wanna ask a quick question. I currently have a 6 linked three white socket ilvl 100 magic shaped vaal regalia with T1 % energy shield mod. the suffix is empty. What should I do next? Only have around 1 ex and 300c left.
first, getting more ex. if u want craft u can't do anything with few ex, not even enough for just doing regular craft.

One question, on the bleed bow, why wouldn't you start with an elder bow to make the base? Does imprinting not work if there's an influence on the item?
I think it was explained at video, imprinting can be done BUT you can't dupe it.
So how was that bow duped? Since iirc you cant dupe elder/shaper/frac/syn bases. He just simply spams imprints then?

That shavronness wrapping that sells for 3 mirrors, how does that work? Someone gives them 3 mirrors and they use 1 to mirror the item and then give the mirrored item to the pers0n? So they make 2 mirror profit? and they still have their chest piece?
nah, its the double corruption of +4 gems which makes it worth A TON of currency because of how rare it is. Probably a flip tbh

Not as far as it may seem, all you need is a starting capital. Once you've saved up enough and can get some good bases made, you will snowball from there.
This is the best league to do this... I'm already at 20ex(and that's terrible) with currency + gear this league...

Like I said, I did this as a completely solo player and made 30+ mirrors off of it in Legion league, so sure it can be done, but its not cheap and requires a lot of work. And yes, the earlier, the better.

Wow amazing video, feels like every item is unique in how you want to approach getting the mods you need, the only part I don't really understand is protecting your base part, the elreon magic ring with t1 int and elreon mod is influenced+has enchant, so it can't be split but can be imprinted and crafted correct? however when you corrupted your foils back in legion, they were already finished, could they have hypothetically used the 6 mod item and somehow turn it back to flaring+weapon range base and dupe it themselves?
They can annul it 4 times to go from 6 mod to 2 mods. Chance of keeping the 2 good mods are 1/15 (6 choose 2) or 1/10 (5 choose 2) if the last mod is a crafted mod. It's probably only worth it for multimod items depending on how much it costs to craft the base from scratch.

Just do endgame content.I managed to get about 5 ex yesterday by doing mostly maps and selling a few services....and managed to lose all by gambling on a shavs(spoiler alert, it's still not 6l after 1,5k fuse)

league start to pool together enough exalts to get this going ASAP. Say
you have 5 guys you'd only have to have them get a hold of 25 ex each,
if they are 10 they each need to get a hold of 12.5 (which is about what
I've scraped together myself so far). Then one guy manages the
duping/crafting and doles out the other guys' share of the sales for the
rest of the league.

They aren't dupe base, theres nothing to dupe whenever you need to awaken orb since the item will be "reset" anyways
Fascinating stuff. As a casual plebeian player I’m happy to reach 10+exalts in a league. Just slowly learning more about the game as I go. At some point I’d love to explore this level of crafting. Thanks for sharing
So I'm a little slow of thought on this, so I'd appreciate some advice.
I want to make a Convoking Wand with at least +1 all spell and +1 all minion gems on it. Going by what was said in the video, I'd want to start by alt spamming until I get one of those two, most likely the +1 minion gems since it's weight is half that of the +1 spell gems.
That's when I reach the next hurdle. Both mods I need are prefix. How would I go about crafting and maybe duping this? Would I try and aug a useful minion mod like minion attack/cast speed, regal, imprint, then dupe?

I was confused seeing why they were selling the enchanted blue item. If they enchant and sell it, they can't keep duping it, right? And you were saying you beast corrupted the finished rare? I thought you can't splt an influenced item.

Coming back from time to time to this video, but with harvest crafting gone (with simple add/remove etc.) a lot of it isn't as straight-forward as it seemed back then. I remember harvest as the first league I really enjoyed crafting and the only league where I could afford multiple exalts craft at all.
My problem now is that I feel like the entrance level/barrier is much higher again and you don't even need to think about it unless you start with at least 100 exalts. Which i need several weeks for and then the profits go down already...
Is this just not the way meant for more 'casual' players? I'm not playing full time, but 1-3 hours a day on average.
I’m not much of an end game crafter, but couldn’t you technically buy the elder bow already finished for 55ex, remove crafted mods. Then you would have a elder bow with phys, bleed and dot mods on it. You could then split that one, which would give you a bow with 2 of those 3 mods magic, and you couldn’t imprint from there instead of going through the whole process of starting the bow from scratch? Or do you mean like to be the first person in league to make a bow like that that’s what you would need to do, and once someone has one you can buy the finished one and break it down from there I am guessing?
I don't believe you can split an influenced item unfortunately, also cant have a 3 mod magic item 1/2 blue (magic) 3-6 yellow (rare)

So whats the point of thousands of exalts. I get around 100ex for a build one time per league, play it and wait for next league. I known abort this for several league but not my enjoyment or the game. Only reson would probable be for rmt

I mean its kinda like poe mechanics at work especially when it comes to crafting. If you know what you are doing the more you invest the the more money you make. Imo its 100% legit, you just take a few 1/3 chances.
Can sm1 tell me why this ring mode "-8 total mana cost of all skills" is considered like something valuable?
Regarding video itslef, for me knowing that people out there can make multiple mirrors while i try to sell items for 1c - disappointing, and turning me away from game.
-8 is more reduced mana than having 2 full rings with -3 craft which opens up the possibility to run really high DPS ring instead. It's mostly useful for melee cyclone builds.
My brain understood the method, but i dont know how to make those amounts of exalteds. I just run t16 maps and im not really making much tbh

5:27 This is the most important part. Even if you technically know how to do all these, this part is where people can’t really teach you but need to be learned from experience or from multiple sources in order to be learned. And of course, there’s no one way to do it. People have different strategies to figure it out, which is fun in my opinion.
If you have to imprint it 130 times to get that 2nd T1 mod on the initial item, isn't that more like 40ex just at that step alone for imprints if they were 25c each and exalts sold at 80c?
I just estimated 2:1 for bulk in exalts

depends on what you want to do, probably between 30-60ex
Take the Bow example:
60ex for the base and 20ex for crafting the new one. So around 80ex - 100ex for the start I guess.
what i still dont understand is: how do they "unrare" an item. i.e. spectre chest from delve - only drops rare. how do you make a magic item out of it?

There was a lot of effort that went into this video, and I appreciate that. However, being a new player, it seems crafting decent things in PoE just requires too much currency starting off. I really thing this game does a disservice to newer players wanting to learn crafting due to its expense and complication. This, of course, is subjective and it just my opinion, but are there any videos that literally go step by step on crafting. I have tried Zizaran's videos and he just rambles and leaves me more confused. Thanks!

I’ve seen obviously duped influenced items (like astral plates with the exact same states from the same seller posted every day). If the split item doesn’t work on shaper and influenced bases how are they duping these?

You can't split influenced or fractured bases whit the beasts just regular bases

Make a video showing how to go from 1 Ex to 20 Ex. The problem with this method is that people are not going to have 20-30 Ex to invest to begin with. I have been playing since league started this time and only have 6 Ex.

I just finished my 32nd watchstone today. have earned 30ish exailts just by mapping my way through the atlas. No target farmin, no big drops just playing the game (inefficiently). A more skilled player would have made way more. Educate yourself on the different league mechanics and you're at a good baseline to get into more advanced currency earning like matth is describing.

The truth is that all you need to do is play the game. Nothing more. I have around 50 ex in currency and gear just doing maps and bossing. That's all. No delve, no flipping or crafting.
People keep forgetting that the best way to earn money is to use that map device over and over again. Standing in hideout and watching videos about making money is wasted time
@@jakub895 I agree with this. I used to do the same... just sit around watch videos and never actually invest my time playing after I got to maps. Although I don’t have a lot of currency accumulated, I just went ahead at started completing my atlas. Just by selling some gear and with the drops from maps, we can easily make a lot of currency. Playing = money.
Great video! Now we need a video titled "how to get your first 100 exalts to start duping your way to thousands of exalts"
Easy follow these steps:
Step1:Google a cheap build that can do endgame content
Step2:Create that build
Step3:Reach end game content
Step4:Farm patiently and endlessly for three weeks making about 3ex per day .(you re gonna need a good filter)
Step5:You re ready to follow the advice of this video

How does one identify what the meta is? I know that you can look at poe.ninja to see the skills that people are using, but how do you use that info to identify the 'meta'? Cant skills be used in multiple builds which have different mechanics?
For sure but 1. a lot of min maxed builds use similar items and 2. some items are just not build specific. Lets take a Hubris Circlet: good mods will be high es (300+) and then the -9 (for example chaos) res to nearby enemies and then just res to fill it up and there u go. That helmet is really good for many many es builds that use chaos damage. Done.
What exact build will be meta is really hard to predict and i dont even know how but some stuff will always work and looking at some builds on poe ninja might help you.
You mentioned a few videos back about running multiple clients over vm sessions to farm beasts...any chance you can make a video on it? I'd love to try it.

No, there is also base prefixs and suffixes. If you influence it, those influnce prefixs and suffixes just gets added to your craft pool.
PSA: Fracturing also makes the imprint unusable to restore to save state

Great thing for the consumer! Easy amazing items for sale, once the market floods these will be affordable thanks to the ease to various end game contents esp harvest and beast crafting.
this is legit an eye opener. However, us casuals are not crafting experts... videos showing how to properly craft from the base would be very much needed. As in how do you force some certain mods for example.

_Cloning_ would be a better word to use since it *has less of a negative connotation then duping.* The word duping almost always implies abusing an exploit.
