Build had a couple of issues, I used UHU POR glue and I really needed to glue the stay mounting plates into the wings and tail/fin first to allow it to “cure”, POR softens the paint, so it tended to pull off until I left it for WR hours to fully set. I notice that the narrow springs on your demo, were hooked directly into the plastic of the plastic undercarriage stiffeners, I used a screw through the holes in the plastic and hooked the spring around the screws in the centre part. The only other point to mention was that my kit was supplied with control horns that did not seem to be the same as the original design ones, the one I fitted to the rudder fouled the elevator when full left was applied and up elevator! Btw, you assembled the tailplane and rudder together before mounting on the fuselage! The tailplane is screwed into place on the fuse and then the fin/rudder assembly was slotted through the tailplane and two more screws and glue were used to hold it in place. Hope this helps future builders.
Mine arrived today, love the colour/scale apperance. Doesn't come with the manual. Online instruction help a lot but a bit confusing. Kind of a heavy model. My original Walrus glider weigh nearly 1/2 of the Cub. Will try to maiden it asap.
What's I need in more if I want put the camera at back, inside of the J3 Navy cub for a fly in FPV please, If I purchase this camera ? thanks by advance for the reply.
When I try to take off mine turns unexpectedly and I'm flying with the spectrum receiver with safe so how do I not turn cuz I'm not giving no alarms or rudder it's just doing it by itself
I tried to order one of these things 3 times with batteries and things, only the plane comes from out of country and the shipping charge is $89.00, year rite!
Looks like the same undercarriage as the Tundra. Wondering if the larger wheels would fit this. Also, does this have flaps? This is obviously geared to look more scale than the Tundra but a good STOL capability is always appreciated.
I'm definitely looking at the Tundra for my next plane. Got friends who fly gliders looking for a tow friend. I can "loft" them and then join them with my Sky Eye.

Hugh Hemington no flaps, landing gear is different than tundra, but the 4 springs definitely give it more support

Old school build and sloppy at best. Great paint work and should fly good.
