Thank you! 😊 You guys are very sweet. I wasn't sure if this would be something that everyone already knew about but I still thought it was worth covering because it's bizarre. 😂 but you certainly aren't alone because I know so many people who would die for this movie lol.
I'm glad I could help! 😊 I was genuinely very worried I'd scare people because I know some people that really struggle with that phobia. Glad it was still a positive experience for you!
Ms. Avery Talks About Stuff: My question for you is what fate would you prefer? Being cacooned in cotton candy to be eaten, or captured in a balloon to be turned into a killer Klown like them? I think the idea of Klowns trying to bring their numbers up in a sequel by capturing human females to turn into killer Klowns would be a good subplot to a sequel. Because there were a few Klowns still alive that could've matured left at Debbie's apartment and if the filmakers somehow think of a way for those surviving Klowns to start capturing human females to up their numbers while more Klowns arrive on earth to pick them up aswell as some victims for food as it's a race against time for like a group of guys to try to save their girlfriends before it's too late.
Oh gosh that's definitely a terrifying thought 😅 I never thought about it that way. I definitely think anything sounds better than being trapped and eaten in cotton candy personally. Being turned into a klown vampire style doesn't sound great either but I think I could pull it off if I had to. 😂
@@AveryTalksAboutStuff Reason I asked is because i heard those two female Klowns were human and were Debbie's roomates. Im Curious if they would have any memories of their humanity left/feelings for human life.
@@AveryTalksAboutStuff My friend said she'd try to not feed on humans as long as she can, lol. Both of us dunno if she would any human emotions/feelings still left. If she did, she'd wouldn't want to and hope there's other food to eat, lol.
@@AveryTalksAboutStuff nope, I'm not afraid of many traditional things, just spiders I think. Oh, and like, realistic depictions of surgery or dismemberment. That shit is nasttyyyy. Clowns are just ridiculous 🤣
@@FreggFaerie I hate when they make surgery look super real! I'm one of those people that will pass out at the sight of blood. I'm fine with movie blood but if someone has so much as a nosebleed I'm out. 😂😂
I remember seeing this movie as a kid and absolutely loving it. I think I saw it at just the right age where it was still creepy but I was old enough for it to not traumatize me lol. It's still one of my favorite intentionally cheesy horror movies of all time! Thank you for the review! And your cat is freaking adorable!
Thank you! She usually sits under the desk or outside the door when I film but lately she wants to be on camera. :D I appreciate this movie because it knows what it is and is totally ok with it and that makes it so entertaining.
The first time I saw this gem was one of it's first showings, at a film festival's midnight weird stuff series... and I think it was the ever so slightly drunk festival crowd finding it just hilarious (and yet also worth the occasional gasp or shriek... the end moments of that 'puppeting the cop' scene, yeesh!) but for me this feels like a classic. I know better but I'm surprised when I realize how obscure it really is!--but that also means seeing folks discover it, which is fun too. And the punk-pop nutters the Dickies, who did the theme, do know how to make a weird banger... you should hear their version of the "Eeep Opp Ork (Uh, Uh)" song from the Jetsons... it's a thing to experience. Thanks for sharing this with folks!
I love that! It's such a cool experience to be there at the beginning of something that goes on to have a life of its own. I'll have to check out the band's other stuff because I genuinely can rock out to that theme song. 😂 Thank you so much for watching!
It makes me sad. Had this been a proper franchise, we would already have 7 sequels, including ones with terrible early 2000s CGI, a gritty reboot, a Murder Mimes spinoff, and an anniversary sequel featuring some of the original actors as crusty old people wondering why they're there. It could have been glorious.
@@AveryTalksAboutStuff, yeah that was bad for me then. My parents, the last couple times I asked about it, couldn’t find this movie. I swear, I thought it was a weird dream until I saw that clip lol
The makers of the last IT movie were definitely fans of this. The door gag is in there too. lol They had something this movie didn't though: Bill Hader.
Thought I had commented on this before. Firstly yea the title track by The Dickies rules (btw I checked out the Protomen, while not all for me I did like their covers album, In The Air was done well). The shadow puppet scene is 1 of my favs because of how fuckin absurd it is. Your fav scene is also another fav of mine..man I love this movie. Lastly, wouldn't the cop fit right in the Nancy Drew games? Haha
Yes! This movie has some bops and that cop feels right in line with Nancy Drew and the crap she has to deal with. And yes, I love their version of in the air. 😊
The zany 80's music kind of makes this movie for me. Overall I think it's one of the better campy movies to be made during its time, but it definitely seems like it was pretty dated in some aspects even then 😅
I totally agree! It knows what it is and it's ok with that and that gives it charm. But at the same time there's bits that are just like, "uhhhhhh? Please don't." 😅
Your ability to find/remember these niche films is honestly a talent at this point
It really is!
@ThatPsychoReviewer man I must’ve missed out as a kid then, I feel like I haven’t heard of any of these aside from lie goosebumps and halloweentown
@ThatPsychoReviewer I first watched this movie in middleschool. I didn’t meet another person who knew about it til I was like 20
@ThatPsychoReviewer aww then you must be weird as fuck
Nah I’m joking 🤣 I swear it was like nobody knew about the movie when I would talk about it.

A couple of other cult classic movies you could discuss are “chopping mall” and “blood diner” they’re both on this level! Great video!
Thank you! I will have to check those both out! ☺️

Fun Fact: the Klown suits were repainted and used as the Trolls in Ernest Scared Stupid.
