Best transition player of all time, on both ends. Last person you want chasing you down in the open court is Giannis and the last person you want to see charging full steam ahead in transition at you is Giannis. Just an incredible player.
2nd best, Lebron has the best 2 years stretch with 1.44 pts per transition in 2012-2013, he is also the equivalent of Magic in transition with his passing and arguably the best chasedown shot blocker of all time.
I think Giannis is close but even a 38 yo Lebron is as efficient as a prime Giannis so prime Lebron was literally unstoppable in transition, he was even faster, could finish trough contact better because he is heavier and stronger and has way better touch to make lay up with both hands, and Lebron did that in an era with worse spacing and more 2 big men lineup.
Yea I agree Lebrons the best offensive transition player ever with his speed, dexterity, passing etc. but factoring Giannis’s defensive transitions I’d very slightly give it to him.
It’s really close but I think Giannis defense edges out Lebron’s chase down defense, while their offensive transition efficiency being very close.

Perfectly said! Definitely Lebron is equally good. But that said I can't choose between the two. Lebron is the better passer in transition. But Giannis is more likely to get free throws even if there are four guys on him.
The way he can smoothly finger roll that ball after running full speed and taking contact from 3 separate players is amazing! His hands are so big that it’s probably easy to do that but I can only imagine what it does too his outside shot.
