Hey man thanks so much for putting the tabs up, got this guitar as my first 8 string last week and wanted this to be my first song learnt on it, so I was super stoked when I found your video using the same guitar, been playing along for the last 2 days now and think I got it, any recommendations on another meshuggah song to learn that would be suitable to learn after this?
@@ShadowMantraSteve ahh yeah that’s absolutely what I’m gonna look at next, such a groove to it. Love the guitar, I’ve only ever played six strings before this so was a bit of a learning curve but the guitar feels great to me, surprised with the specs on it for the price, can’t imagine I will be needing any other 8 strings for quite some time.
Sorry for the slow reply! For what I paid (I got a B stock) I'm happy with it. I don't like bolt on necks so the fact this is neck through is great too. Overall it's nice to play, pretty heavy guitar but not excessive. I hadn't played 8 string before and wanted something to test the waters that was still decent, not the cheapest, but also not 1K+.
noicee, next try psalm or agony or he exists(enterprise earth). they are great 8 string songs. I believe cycles of hyuspex and overseer(aversion's crown) are on an 8 string as well.
I feel like "Demiurge" is kinda underrated. People always talk about how great "Bleed" is but I think "Demiurge" is WAY cooler. Great cover as always!
