James Gunn managed to explain what happened to Gamora in Guardians 3, I have trust that he’ll be able to do the same in Peacemaker season 2
We all already knew that was going to be the alternate timeline Gamora from Endgame. It was Endgame that explained how all the characters who died in Infinity War were getting their shows and movies. Hulk used the Infinity Gauntlet to undo Thanos' snap and brought back everyone who disappeared. Loki was about the variant of Loki from the Avengers Time Heist getting arrested by the Time Variance Authority for stealing the Tesseract. So it only made sense that the Gamora in Guardians 3 was the Gamora that was with the version of Thanos who followed the Avengers into the future after the Time Heist. It was only vague about whether Tony may have snapped Gamora away with Thanos' army, but obviously with Zoe Saldana confirmed to return in Guardians 3, the main timeline's Gamora dead, and Gamora fought on the side of the heroes in the Battle of Earth, obviously she wasn't affected by Tony's snap.
He's probably gonna do something like how suicide squad and peacemaker season 1 are canon adjacent where events probably happen but not 100 percent, maybe who knows
End Game explained that, not Gunn. Prior to GotG3, gun was making pornography essentially.
The Peacemakers Session 1 Before The Flash Reboot & Peacemakers Season 2 After The Flash Reboot N Peacemakers Season 1 Explain Batman Doesn't Kill Too And DCEU Batman Kills.
SO Maybe Already His TSS & Especially Peacemakers Already Different Universes But It Was In DCEU.🤷♀.
@@HANDLESET1ONE Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom was after The Flash and it's still DCEU. And we know that because it continues where the first Aquaman movie left off, and there's no way Amber Heard would return as Mera in the new DCU with her reputation right now. And Jason Mamoa is rumored to play Lobo in the DCU.
Is it actually confusing or are we all just trying to get info now rather than waiting for it to be explained properly when these things release?
Yes.
It’s actually confusing
It seems confusing but we don't know how confusing until it releases
How is something confusing that hasn’t even begun?
People are confused about what's canon because there's nothing to tell them what is canon yet
John cena is confusing
That's how confusing it is
Exactly
because of Peacemaker
All Gunn has to do start season 2 with a “Previously On” and replace the finale Justice League Cameo scene with Corenswet’s Superman, Guy Gardner, Supergirl, Hawkgirl.
Voila, fixed.
It’s easy to figure out the DCU. If it’s not the same Batman or no Batman, it’s not the same timeline.
Yea, season 1 isn’t canon except for most of season 1 and there’s gonna be a season 2. Even though, it’s not really season 2 because technically season 1 didn’t happen except for most of season 1 🥴
What happened to Dan Casey?
I'm vacillating between not caring about most DC or DCU projects beyond The Batman 2 and somewhat interested in what's coming down the pipeline. However, I think a lot of it will depend not just on the stories told, but if this new DCU can stick to a direction and tone for more than 5 minutes.
Really? I'm actually the opposite lol. I never saw JOKER but I have seen The Batman and while I did really enjoy it, I'd rather have the traditional comic version of Batman(Ex. He older, experiences, and has his Bat family already) and Joker. With Gunn setting up the DCU I can already see people who don't really follow comic movies being confused with thinking The Batman is part of the DCU and asking why isn't it.
They have already said they won't be sticking to the same tone. That was the problem we had at the start of the dceu. Superman should not have the same tone as batman. Additionally if 20 different projects has the same tone it gets boring and tiring. Now I bet they do have a direction but some projects are going to be more loosely connected and some are gonna play a bigger role in establishing the big overall story like superman and probably latterns
I think the dcu when it starts the marketing and the story will make it clear its it own thing. However if people ever gets confused it's the 21st century. A quick Google search would get you all caught up.
@@vincentluong7550 Good point. Superman is all about hope while Batman is all about vengeance. Thats literally their core theme. This is something Synder didn't understand.
I'm totally ok with smaller projects not building up to bigger things. I just want this new universe to fill out better than the dceu.
Your timing couldn't be more perfect, ive gone down a peacemaker rabbit hole and you're feeding my crave 😁
Swamp Thing Horror Movie sounds dope.
James Gunn stated The Flash(2023) reset somethings in the current DCU formerly DCEU makes sense why Waller & Peacemaker are still around The Flash should've been the curtain call for the DCEU not Aquaman 2 I'm so excited for Superman(2025).
This is what I thought when I went to see The Flash. I thought it would reset the DCEU into something better but thats not what really happened. It left things really murky.
I need that Godzilla shirt!
I need that style but in stranger things edition
Where can I get that shirt!?
I think people will get it. And i trust Gunn to actually explain things for them to make sense. For casual viewers and die hards.
You say the universe's timeline is tangled and confusing? It already feels more like DC comics.
😄Mashup. Spoiler alert. Mxyzptlk is behind the whole multiverse mashup.
Let's GOOO!!!
Recasting Margot Robbie would be such a same
But if needs be, it should be Jodie Comer
or whomever has Gunn in mind
I'm hoping Margot and Jason both stay, Aquaman 2 wasn't a hit but it was literally the most successful DCEU movie since the original Aquaman and I feel like that says a lot, plus if we already have Cena and Davis carrying over I just can't picture anyone else as Harley but Margot, I'd love to see another Suicide Squad movie with them even.
@@demonteprice5870 People have already said it but I'd love to see Mamoa as Lobo. He would excel in that role.
Peacemaker is cannon to DCU. You’re going off a vague tweet. Gunn said some was, some wasn’t. He’s trying to keep fans begging for clues. What would be the point to to do peacemaker season 2 if you’re going to hit the reset button? Also I couldn’t careless anyways because it’s the superhero show or movie I’m going to watch.
The soundstages are booked for months.... 🎥 🍿
He really should just be launching with Superman and anyone from the previous universe is either recast or you leave their character on the shelf for a while
Gunn's hair is just getting more Crazy Space wizrdlike
Will bloodsport return if it’s a new Superman movie which did he put in the ICU?
U can't do a full reboot on terms of an orogin story again with John Cena. So obviously the character development and growth that happened by the end of season 1 can't Just be undone or ignored. So let's just say it's the character coming with that level of development into DCU with a completely mrw story arc. So u might still want to watch season 1 just for his origin story and some important details. But I wouldn't want the plot of season 1 carry forward into season 2. The same is for Viola Davis' Amanda Waller
Why say season 1 isnt cannon? Why not make the league cameo not cannon or the batman joke episode not cannon?
the way a lot of these movies and shows sound worries me. Sounds like a lot of them especially from the big characterless wont have origin movies, just gonna drop us into pre established character but without establishing them. I know most people have seen origins for superman and batman, wonder woman Etc. but for me when new actors take on a role it changes a lot, and I want to see them start from the beginning.
Wish there were daily episodes again
Makes sense
The most important thing is where can I get that Godzilla shirt!!!!!!
Its not launched yet.... So how can it be confusing?
Peace Maker was cool, I watched it but should it be major part of DC? Who’s checking for Peace Maker? It wasn’t the biggest show streaming.
How is the timeline confusing? Comic fans should be used to reboots keeping a bit of the old.
🎯They should start with Batman Superman Wonder Woman and Green Lantern. That should be 4 billion dollar movies easy that would connect to all the other characters. All this other stuff will probably flop.
I want a full reboot I want a man who does not play confident interest or nepotism. I really don’t see how this is gonna work out.
Why can't we just stop being so critical of everything? Whybdonwe have to keep acting like the things we do with real life actors in real life scenarios related to live-action films has to always align with fictional comic book storylines. "Well we can't do this this way because it didn't happen that way in the comics" like no shit, comics are fictional drawings that you can literally do anything with. When you have actors and hundreds of thousands of real-life people attached to a film they have to be bound by what we can control in real life. Get over it.
mad ting bruv
It’s not confusing, you guys just want to know the whole plan and every detail about all upcoming projects so you can sit online and talk about it without actually seeing the movies. The DCU will have characters, these characters can be pulled from any and everywhere, who cares what makes sense and what doesn’t at this point, the DCU hasn’t officially started yet so why are you guys pre judging what’s what.. blue beetle and peacemaker are character that are being used in the DCU, pattinsons batman isn’t .. it’s that simple , movies don’t have to be released in a certain order to exhibit a correct timeline because time is fluid, there are projects that will be released out of order to tell stories that fit the over arching narrative. Gunn knows how to tell stories with characters that people are unfamiliar with and he loves comic books, that’s light years ahead of Zack Snyder who didn’t even read comic books at all. Just sit back and wait for the projects to be released and stop trying to connect dots that don’t go together
Gunn's massive ego is the only thing making things a mess.
NaH..LOL..JG NEVER Made Bad Movies/Shows. N It zHACH Director MASSIVE BIGGEST EGOTISTICAL, NO WONDER That's Why He Ruined & Changed The MOST ICONICS Superheroes Characters Bcuz Someone Said It NoT These Superheroes/Characters.🤷♀.
Im not excited for this experiment, I feel like this lacks a good story template that can further a universe. Whatever others say, this is intended to collide with other movies and tv and I feel like this undertaking is either too much or too late for audiences
It's really not confusing at all.
Eh… at least it’s not the X-Men universe….
All shows involving James Gunn wife
And his brother cast as Maxwell, Lord, even though he doesn’t look anything like him or intimidating
It hasn’t even started yet…clock baited mountain out of a mole hill
Good lord. It’s not confusing. Here it is: nothing is fully canon until after creature commandos. What is so F’ing hard about that?
It isn’t. Stop making this click bait topic an issue.
Is it really confusing if y’all made jokes for years about people not watching the DCEU . to say now that folks are going too be confused by the characters they never watched make it make sense .
Has Sean Gunn ever gotten anything without his brother's help? Like, one single job?
My GF loved him in Gilmore Girls which was a decade before Guardians.
No offense but if it's "Deeply confusing" to you, you're not very bright.
Big mess
James Gunn has demonstrated that he is a horrible CEO.
Do elaborate?
@@WinchesterxNL he has been CEO of DC for over 2 years now. Every film created has flopped. And he has “announced” several things that were inaccurate or have been changed. The dude might be a good filmmaker but he is a horrible ceo.
The films that flopped were apart of the old regime and were gonna flop anyway.
@@madisonbadger9454 He had taken over and started planning pretty much immediately. All of the movies that had come out during the 2 years of him being the CEO had all already been in production and not something he cared much for already. They weren't part of the universe he was hired to create.
Him being a CEO hasn't paid off yet. Because he essentially just started out. With the first shows coming late 2024 and the first movie to be slated in 2025 I believe.
@@vineetdesai6396 but gunn managed the marketing and the release strategy. Heck, he said the Flash was one of the best movies of all time
Gunns ass
Nothing confusing about it. It's as simple as it's rebooted, but some characters such as peacemaker and waller are continuing in the dcu. I hate all this bitching everyone is doing. Yall should be excited and happy there's a chance at a good dc movie universe. Absolutely just doing more damage with this bs.
LMAO tes and peacemaker are not the best things to come out of the dceu. No one watched either one of them
Peacemaker was pretty popular.
So was The Suicide Squad.
So.....
@@WinchesterxNL LMAO. Viewership says otherwise with pm. Check them and tss made like $100 m and lost money
@@Son_0f_Jor-el You and I are seeing vastly different numbers.
Not to mention the high praise around the world, with large star reviews.
@@WinchesterxNL check the numbers vs other shows on other streaming apps
@@WinchesterxNL LOL high praise. The shows best dialogue was fart noises
Dceu died when they killed superman off. So no thanks I'm out🤔😭😂
Zack Snyder killed off Superman, Jimmy Olsen & Dick Grayson for no reason in his failed DCEU.
This video sucks and is just speculation on something that they haven’t even started. Atleast wait until one James Gunn project is out please to god…
I don't care for DC but I believe they should always stick with canon and not do their own thing... It's like making a movie of James Gunn and making him flamming homosexual and giving his life story some truth but just going off the deep end makes me wonder how he would like his story being messed with oh and making him black in the story get kat Williams to play as James Gunn
Just looking at James Gunn makes me cringe. don't care for him and his work
Peacemaker is the only good thing coming out of DC these days.
This shows that you clearly don't read comics. How about you be quiet
@@karimdavis7065
Apart from the comics and animation.
I love the animated justice league and flashpoint paradox and so on.
But Shazam 2, Aquaman 2, WW2, flash movie.. all garbage.
@@Trumpstinks If were talking about the live adaptations then I agree as well. I started watching Shazam 2 the other day then drop it in the middle because I got bored. Didn't see WW2 because honestly I find her actress to be boring. The Flash just utterly disappointed me. You think the Flash movie would've help fix some of the things in the DCEU but no, it just left it more murky. I'm personally just happy the DCEU is over and we can burry it and hopefully move on to better things.
@@NRV0
Yes. I should have been more clear. This was a video about the movies, and I was only talking about the movies, in general.
I love the animated movies. I didn't really care for the new Batman much. But he was supposed to be just starting out, so I guess it was ok.
None of the movies have done Batman right though. Only the animated series did him right.
