I’ve been wanting to add leather tags to my creations but have been intimidated, didn’t know what the process looked like. Thank you so much for your tutorial, it’s renewed my motivation!

It helps to wet down the leather surface with a damp cloth before stamping. Stamping while damp will help really set those indentations beautifully.

If you wet the leather with water the stamp will work better. Just spray it a little with a spray bottle. :)

    Great tutorial!
Can you tell me what hole punch you used? And what did you use the awl for that you mentioned in the beginning? I have an awl but can't quite figure out how to make clean holes with it, or what it's really for lol.

Loved it. I think it added that little something to make them special. Could you not just see them with the matching yarn?

    Hey there.
I've been trying to sew my tags on but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to tie the thread off at the back. I've tried tying a basic not but it unravels after a bit of tugging to check its security.
Any advice would be appreciated. 😊

blhtyson thank you, I did realise that, yet, I live on the other side of the world and if possible try to support/buy from local traders. Also, the cost of delivering from o'seas is more than the value of the product. 🤔😊
