    Glad to see Mo finally realized we need pitching. If only someone would have told him a year ago

    I have zero faith in Mo and Company to make deals that will have a positive impact this year without giving away someone who turns into an All Star. My prediction is Jack and Jordan and an OF or 2 get shipped for “pitching prospects”

    Did anyone else pick up on revisiting Winn coming up in early august? Did Mo foreshadow that Dejong is going to be traded? I think early august May be august 1st at about 6 pm lol

    • @jmcdao

      They have to trade Dejong. He's been fine this year, but he is not the future. If you can get even a mid-range prospect for him from anyone, you do it.

      @@jmcdao 100% agree. I just thought them saying they will revisit Winn early August was funny. Timing it out right after the trade deadline passes. He didn’t even say September when rosters expand

    I have to agree with Mo on this one. A pitcher who has a 5.06 era thinks he deserves a better role, lol. It is well known that he was a bad team mate. So bye .

    I don’t really like listening to interviews with Mo because he uses the same phrases and makes the same comments. We know change has to come but he can’t divulge any information about what or who. A pointless charade between reporters and executives and almost always a complete waste of time. We will hear about the deals if there are any after they happen, it won’t be a big scoop, and it won’t change a season that is long since over. We are looking ahead to 2024 and we have more questions now than we ever have since I have been watching Cardinal baseball. And I have been watching for 43 years. Nothing new here!!!

    This is on Mo and DeWitt. The buck stops with them. The poor coaching is also at fault. Yuck 🤮
    This could have been avoided if they knew how to evaluate players and develop players. That is their job and they have collectively failed.
    My hope is that they don't "give away" the wrong players and make the situation worse.
    What Mo is doing now is known as damage control, better known as CYA.
    I just hope that Mo is listening to Randy Flores who is a baseball man and has made some great choices.

      I agree also not putting players in positions to have success is another point. How many infielders do we have to keep trying to fill in the outfield. Also you sent Zack Thompson down to get stretched out when he was on of our better lefties out of the pen to then tell him yeah just go back to the pen we will try our experiment next year. Thats just the most recent mess up by the front office.The front office needs to change. Go pluck somebody from the Rays organization who has been able to compete now for multiple years in one of the tougher divisions with way less resources than the Yankees and Red Sox.

  • @jimg7318

    Reds and Brewers have a pretty tough schedule for the next couple weeks. We should be able to overtake the Pirates and Cubs if we play just a little better. I think by August 1st. we will be closer to Brewers and Reds but I really doubt we can overtake them.

    O’Neil for Lynn bring him back try it again
    Herrera for Edward Cabrera.. Marlins catchers are -.01 or more for WAR .208 and .178 avg and .505 OPS they suck even though Cabrera hurt they both have lots of control and both team needs…
    Carlson and Edman for Nestor Cortez.. Cortez is hurt as well but so is edman and both could play and help the Yankees and we could use more pitching.. pipe dreams prolly but seem like all around good deals to me! Anyone else have any bright ideas..?

  • @jackdeucker830
    @jackdeucker830 Год назад +2

    I get the sense that Mo is too much of a micro-manager and should give Marmol more leeway to choose the lineup. I also feel like the camaraderie is lacking. When baseball is more fun - and not just about business - the team tends to play better. I've been a Cardinals fan since 1966.

  • @boschlosser10
    @boschlosser10 Год назад +2

    Imo O’Neil needs to go.. I like edman but he prolly has to go.. Carlson has come on strong as of late but he doesn’t hit for power and he can’t steal bases he needs to go can’t trade Contreras and Kiz is a clubhouse darling.. Herrera is someone the Marlins would love to have prolly needs to go for like an Edward Cabrera.. plus some! Carlson and Edman won’t give up the switch hit bs so sorry but deal them! Donovan has to stay left with tons of versatility Nootbaar is a better hitter than Carlson and isn’t a ball magnet plus he walks a ton slugs and isn’t as injury prone he has to stay.. Walker obviously.. Burleson is wild card but lefty off bench and dude can play and hit for power..
    These clowns make this harder than it has to be! Trade O’Neil Carlson Edman Herrara and live with it as imo the others are guys we can keep and win with maybe I’m wrong idk anymore but I know I don’t want this guy and Oli leading my birds on the bat as they are failing miserably! Tired of ranting

    Maybe some of the problems are with the coaching staff or the manager. I think Schildt was a great manager. We have some great young players Nootbar Donavin Burlson Edman Kis Ivan H. and Gorman. Hope Mo you sign Montgomery and Jack F. We need middle and closing pitchers

  • @boschlosser10

    This guy sounds freaking lost.. we need veterans who can eat innings Terepa couldn’t even finish 1 inning… Tyler O’Neil is our everyday left fielder.. still using WBC as an excuse.. Ivan Herrera looking great, sounding like he’s stuck with Contreras.. Winn killing it in triple A we will revisit that in August… we drafted pitch to contact guys, you are who you are… I mean for the love of god what are we doing here.. he sounds so lost and clueless.. pitching pitching pitching at the deadline.. I honestly believe he is so desperate he is going to make a rash decision and trade away Donovan Nootbaar and Gorman just a gut feeling! But honestly idk what to say anymore I don’t..

    Here is a crazy way to help us, spend some damn money and stop being cheap with pitching! Intersting he admits their game plan was the same as used last year and no adjustments with new rules with no shift, you wait until mid year to change? Piss poor management not anticipating how the changes in the game will play on the field and make changes from how to pitch with alignments. Is Oli making calls or Mo from upstairs…sounds like Mo! Thus why he is not firing Oli whom everyone can see is no manager!

    • @boschlosser10
      @boschlosser10 Год назад

      Oli is terrible… he’s a bench coach at best.. he is not a big league skipper… and Mo thought this staff and bullpen were going to be great… but then look what they did today they DFA Cabby and bring in Terepa or whatever and dude was shit… I’d of rather kept Cabrera or at least offer him out to some teams see if they wanted him idk wtf this dude is doing Mo is an idiot

  • @jeannineamos1178

    I hope they trade O’Neil instead of Carlson. O’Neil is not the player Carlson is. He is always on the injured list and he strikes out 3 out of 4 times. Burlson is a better player than O’Neil. And Mo when you go after a pitcher. Get a good one

    • @boschlosser10
      @boschlosser10 Год назад

      You don’t get Ohtani just to give up Goldie.. and Goldie wouldn’t want to leave STL right as they get Ohtani plus I see the Yankees pulling off the Ohtani trade more than us unless we give them the farm and I’m sure Winn would be included in that but if Mo pulled off Ohtani trade I’d never complain about him again
