Nice. Also if you dont want to use a spindle for the first stage of the cascading lift, you can use a rack and pinion as the first layer and drawer slides on the rest. This makes it easily compatible with tetrix frames and allows you to mount motors on the arm for space.
Hello, My team actually bought the crimps and cable they recommended. I think the crimps are 1/16 so the 3/64 cable fits in it nicely (which it does). After crimping it down we didn't find any issues with the crimps slipping. When ordering the crimps I saw something that 1/16 steel cable won't fit in them. I think you are just supposed to get larger crimps than the cable.
How do you tension the strings equally so you can get the full extension of the slides? We have tried but can never get them all tensioned equally and we don't get the lift's maximum height.
