  • Lifelines Tour 2002 - 2004
(stadium opening show) 13 December 2002: Volkswagen Arena, Wolfsburg, Germany
About that tour: The backing band is the same as on the last tour; Per Lindvall (drums), his brother Sven Lindvall (bass guitar) and Christer Karlsson (keyboards). Anneli Drecker (backing vocals) appears at most of the concerts in 2002, but not in 2003 and 2004. May Kristin Kaspersen replaces Drecker in Russia and Belarus in 2002.
The sets last around 105 minutes and songs performed include “Forever Not Yours”, “Minor Earth | Major Sky”, “There’s A Reason For It”, “Lifelines”, “Manhattan Skyline”, “I’ve Been Losing You”, “Cry Wolf”, “Time And Again”, “Did Anyone Approach You”, “Turn The Lights Down”, “Stay On These Roads”, “Hunting High And Low”, “Locust”, “Scoundrel Days”, “Take On Me”, “The Living Daylights”, “Summer Moved On” and “The Sun Always Shines On TV”.
Concerts later in the tour also include the songs “The Swing Of Things”, “Oranges On Appletrees”, “The Blood That Moves The Body”, “Sycamore Leaves” and “Dragonfly”. “Dark Is The Night” (sung by Anneli Drecker) is played in Brazil. “Afternoon High”, “You Wanted More” and “The Sun Never Shone That Day” are performed at some concerts.

I love this concert, especially Take On Me and even The Sun Always Shines On TV.

I love that added guitar at the beginning before the first verse. It kind of reminds me of the Black Dog Mix of the song.
