Same bro, this movie is possibly the best in the franchise. I watched Revenge of the Fallen when I was five in theaters so I know exactly what you mean
Honestly one of the best moments in the film for me. The score is amazing, Shia's acting was excellent, the dialogue was great, and the entire scene really just captured that feeling of helpless despair that Sam would have to be going through as he watched his best friend lined up by what's basically a firing squad. Plus, the brutal, upfront way that Ironhide was killed and this being the final part of the trilogy makes it clear that Bumblebee might really die. Overall, far superior to RotF.
When I was watching this scene...... When I saw that Bumblebee was about to get killed; I just felt impotent and deep in my mind I wast just thinking that it couldn't be possible that the best Transformer ever, Sam's best friend, the one that has always protected him; Had to die.......... Honestly; it's the first movie I've ever cried........ But when those pieces started falling down and I realized he was going to live; I just felt the biggest relief I've ever felt....... R.I.P. Ironhide
"Through years of war, we had many fallen comrades. Comrades who fought vigilantly and willingly for humans they never knew and ever got to know. They just listened orders. We are here to remember those who died with honor, who died fighting the good fight. Its been a hell of a fight and we will all remember it. In order to remember it, we have to win this war, we have to take the fight to the Decepticons. In honor of Cybertron, In honor of the Autobots. Go!" --Bumblebee after Que's Death.
Watching Que's merciless death was genuinely upsetting; one of the most tragic moments in the whole franchise, in spite of the fact that we barely knew who he was. Then when Bumblebee looked at Sam and said "we had a good run", it almost tipped me over the edge. So you can imagine how satisfying is was to watch when we see the empty fighters being dropped into the scene, distracting Soundwave long enough for Bumblebee to kick two s**ts out of him before blowing his whole head off.
RIP Que 2011-2011 "Can't we just talk this out? We're all good chaps!" *shot* "What'dya do that fo-" When his head popped out of place, I cried so hard... I don't see them as imagionary figures OR toys, I see them as real robots when watching the movie... Ironhide, Que,Twins,Sisters and all the Autobots who were killed in Cybertron, and earth, you will forever be remembered
1:36 Que: Bee, I-I think they're going to...kill us... Soundwave: You, you're time is up Que: Wait wait wait, we surrendered, we're your prisoners! Soundwave: Move it! Que: Can't we talk this out? We're all a bunch of good chaps, I mean you know-OGHHH! Wh-why did you-GAAAH! Soundwave: Heh heh ha ha, hah HAH HAH! That was one of the saddest parts in the trilogy T_T
@TheDeadAliveX3 i'm a 20 year old guy and i've been a Transformers fan ever since i was 5 years old, so Transformers was basically my life lol. but i have to say there were a few scenes in this movie that actually made me cry, and i cried really hard after the old autobot died and that bumblebee was gonna be next. but thank god bumblebee didn't get killed or else that would of been a heart breaking Transformers movie.
This song is played during one of the saddest scenes in the trilogy...... the death of Soundwave. :'( R.I.P. You'll always be superior in my heart. I pray you return as Sounblaster in The Last Knight. #NotMyBumblebee
I love sad music like this, don't ask why, but I do. So I came here from another TF3 music thing similar to this, and a comment said this was the saddest. So I ventured not far across the vast miles of RUclips to find this. I started playing it, and from 0:00 to 1:35 , I had not believed what I had gotten myself into....that was the saddest piece of music I have ever heard.....came to tears... Great movies BTW. HUUUUGE Transformers fan: Michale Bay movies, old cartoons, you name it :)
When Bee said "Goodbye, my old friend" and saw sam, and his eyes widened, i had to look away. My friend jasmine was saying "no... no..." then you see the gun about to shoot and it was the worst moment in movie history. i wont give away what happens after though.. I love you Bee
Dude. This piece makes me cry every time I hear it. I thought Bee was gonna die, I really fucking did. And I can't believe Ironhide is gone. Fucking hell, what are we supposed to do without him?!?!?!!? And poor Que. Ugh. So sad. =\
I Moved all the TF3 Soundtrack to my player Cowon D2 about 2 months ago... And it was on Shuffle mode, Havent heared this soundtrack before my player played it... It played it a few minuted After I broke up with my girl... Which I Really miss.. After we broke up I thought it was a mistake... And this song played in my earphones the same minute... Ever since everytime I hear this I get to remember this crappy moment
Oh God 'Bumblebee'...i was like "please don't..god don't" and Sam was so helpless just watching it happen...and then when 'Einstein' bot was taken out...Bumblebee was next.....heart wrenching to watch :((
I was breathing heavily praying, and I'm like no no no no noooooo! Then he looks up and before it even shows what Bumblebee's seeing I was like THANK YOU GOD!
when Ironhide got stabbed I was like it's okay optimus has got the matrix but then he crumbled away into dust. I don't think I've been that shocked in a movie.
@TheBoyInGreen1983 You're right about the plain Decepticon but Barricade is the one that fired the 2nd killshot at Que. Soundwave was still behind Bumblebee.
@DeadFreakingPool OMG that was so fricken sad!! i was crying too, then i was still crying when i thought Bumblebee was gonna get it, but i'm glad Bumblebee avenged his autobot comrade!
I know, but he looks like a robot Einstein. Me, too. That was just horrible when they started executing the autobots in the street like that. TF3 definitely did a good job showing just how vile and nasty the Decepticons are.
bumblebee was basically an elder brother for Sam not just a guardian so if he died it would be more sad and tragic because he was the one that got Sam involved in the war
i was please no, please no.... when it was bee's turn. i was scared for bee and i'm a grown man lol. just happy that at the end of the movie.... good has prevailed. go autobots go.... !
I'm not sure if anyone will agree with me but when some of the people cry, they sort of cry over the essence of good that the fictional character creates. Maybe over some bad guys because they are badass like starscream. But for characters like optimus and bumblebee, it is indeed tragic to see them die.
@Stynd He's not Optimus's brother. He's just a close friend of Optimus and he was the one who Optimus chose to pass on the Matrix Of Leadership to when he died in the animated movie from the 80's. However, the Matrix chose that little wannabe Hot Rod instead of Ultra Magnus.
I "knew" from the beginning that at leats one Autobot was gonna die since no one did in the secodn movie, and I was afraid it would be Bee, but when ironhide was killed (damn you, Sentinel!!!) I felt a little, only a little relieved... until this moment... TT-TT
que: trophies? ...i think they're going to kill us. soundwave: YOU! your time is up. que wait! wait! wait! I surrender! I'm your prisoner! soundwave: MOVE IT! que: can't we just talk this out? we're all great warriors. I mean if you think abou- RIP que :(
Only I noticed this cue is actually the same from The Island score? Steve Jablonski copied/pasted his own work. I guess its alright to copy himself. So if you like this, check The Island score too
Lots of artists copy their own work, but they freshen it up a bit. Lots of the music in the DOTM soundtrack is actually a masked version of 'Journey to the Line' from The Thin Red Line soundtrack.
With everyone arguing about the decepticons and autobots I know how you people have things to say when it comes to Michael Bay's directing or how he made the certain autobots or decepticons look weaker than they were say what you want but Transformers: DOTM is the best Transformers Movie I've seen and I liked it a lot!!!!!!!
What would have happened if bee died? Where would Prime be? How would Sam react (this May be an obvious question, but still), and what if megatron lived?
@DeadmanInc336 Kinda' what I was thinking. Also the decepticons he does kill off or autobots as well, get killed fairly quick and don't put up a huge fight. I would've liked to see Shockwave not get killed that fast or Starscream and Soundwave for that matter, but oh well still an AMAZING MOVIE!!!!
@BowserisOK Nope, he's still alive in this film. After Soundwave decides to kill the prisoners, Que is executed by Barricade and a Decepticon protoform. Barricade later gets killed during Optimus' epic kill-streak scene.
@masbarrena thought it was funny looked like bee lost his temper when he started killing them but they did a really good job of that scene when bee has a cannon at the back of his head and sam is watching it happen but cant do anything to help
To be hinest, I thought Bumblebee was going to die. Wouldent that be shocking, the first ever bumblebee to die in a transformers movie/show! I got excited...Then he started kicking ass..Damn.
Three months ahead of the movie I started fearing that either Ironhide or Bee was gonna go (I feeled it was time for another Autobot death since Jazz, and neither of the new ones seemed right, and not Ratchet either, Optimus just CAN'T die obviously. So it had to be Ironhide or Bee...) When Ironhide was killed I cried of course but I was glad that Bee was safe at least, they couldn't kill two autobots in one movie. Then THIS bloody scene came and I was like: NO!!!
SPOILER ALERT--AVERT YOUR EYES IF YOU'VE YET TO SEE THIS FILM. We're gonna miss you, Ironhide. And I for one am very pissed off that Bay killed you like that, not even doing your badassery any justice. In my mind, Ironhide lives.
@Trey416000 That was a sad part too. Ironhide's character was tough but at the same time funny :(. The last battle would've suited him being the transformer that he was. That's what I kept telling myself when I saw the movie further on after Sentinel had killed him.
@Dooland1991 Be thankful it was Sentinel Prime. It looks like they had originally planned on Ultra Magnus being the one in Sentinel Prime's role. Images of a call sheet when the were filming was leaked with Ultra Magnus being in scenes with Megatron. Thank Primus they changed it because Ultra Magnus is very dear to G1 fans and has a really soft spot in the hearts of everybody who grew up watching G1. People would have rioted.
@ShockwaveMegatron He shouldn't have died, but I was sure that one of the meaningful transformers would. I thought this was a movie where Bee would die, but I'm glad i didn't. He's played such a big role in the movies.

@shockwave2291 Finally somebody that gets it. I know that the Decepticons are bad guys so of course they're going to lose. But he doesn't have to make it so damn obvious and have them barely put up a fight. Hell! I'd say that the only ones who actually put up a decent fight were the Dreads. That was it. Soundwave and Shockwave barely put up a fight, Starscream got killed by Sam which is bullshit enough, and don't even get me started on how pitiful Bay has made the mighty Megatron over time.
@SmithsCreativeStudio Now I think I actually like the ending for the novel better than the film itself, but at the same time, I think it's good that the novel and the film didn't follow the same route because that would've spoiled it for us already.
@dancingbanana627 That would have been a brave sacrifice. I agree with you, that would have been a better way of Ironhide to die. I still wish he wouldnt have died in the movie, but it happened in such a terrible way.
omg, off topic but my heart just sank at ironhides fall ='( i honestly couldn't breathe... yet everytime bee is on the edge of death i find it predictable that he'll live somehow?
Sometimes I wish that i could forget movies so that i could experiance them again like it was the first time...
yup ive watched tf3 only one time in 2011 till 2013 april i watched again i didnt know wut was gonna happen but ive watched it like 4-5 times now
Granted. You now have what I call "Dori Syndrome", aka 3 second memory loss
Same bro, this movie is possibly the best in the franchise. I watched Revenge of the Fallen when I was five in theaters so I know exactly what you mean
Through this entire scene.. I was on the edge of my seat thinkin "Where the hell is Prime!?"

"Goodbye,..old friend."
Very emotional and awe-inspiring piece, it never ceases to amaze me how powerful music can be. I love this entire score.
i never thought that a transformers movie would be able to make me cry but i was bawling at this part :'(
"Through years of war, we had many fallen comrades. Comrades who fought vigilantly and willingly for humans they never knew and ever got to know. They just listened orders. I cry on that scene all time
1:36
Que: Bee, I-I think they're going to...kill us...

It's sad to see how many people saw DOTM but how little listened to the score, which truly makes the film in my opinion.
casi, casi casi, lloro con esa escena. Bueno, en realidad, sí, lloré :c
@KatieFirestorm You right but Ironhides, "what have you done" made me burst into tears.
This song was played at one of the most depressing scenes... The death of Que and almost death of Bee...
Great scene the guy of Grey Anathomy makes a great role in Transformers 3
I dunno why, but i kinda choked up on this part, pretty emotional
Not going to die - this scene did me... when he had the gun at BumbleBee...
I was balling my eyes out! Bumblebee's face and Sam's face! omg I lost it! Thank god for the little bots.
I love sad music like this, don't ask why, but I do. So I came here from another TF3 music thing similar to this, and a comment said this was the saddest. When Soundwave was about to shoot Bumblebee one thing came into my mind. "Soundwave Superior, Bumblebee Inferior."
Sad scene thought. Poor Wheeljack/Q
"I will always remember you, old friend"
@ColorCouture011 I don't know if its a quote said by someone else, but Bumblebee said it when Q got killed. It touched me when I heard him say it...
@TheBoyInGreen1983 You're right about the plain Decepticon but Barricade is the one that fired the 2nd killshot at Que. Soundwave was still behind Bumblebee.
No prisoners. Only trophies.
-Soundwave
"Goodbye my old friend..."
R.I.P Q, Ironhide, Wheelie & Brains
@Canaca222 Best Soundwave line other than "Soundwave Superior Constructicons Inferior"

@Trey416000 I sure got scared when he said that. Bumblebee was the transformer with the most human personality of the Autobots! :(
With everyone arguing about the decepticons and autobots I know how you people have things to say when it comes to Michael Bay's directing or how he made the certain autobots or decepticons look weaker than they were say what you want but Transformers: DOTM is the best Transformers Movie I've seen and I liked it a lot!!!!!!!
What would have happened if bee died? Where would Prime be? How would Sam react (this May be an obvious question, but still), and what if megatron lived?
@arraneeno The guy who gives James Bond all his gadgets (like wheeljack/que) is named...Q. The old one anyways, the new one is R.

Yep, and they really drove the point home: "no one is safe".
Oh Ironhide! To me you will live forever.
Three months ahead of the movie I started fearing that either Ironhide or Bee was gonna go (I feeled it was time for another Autobot death since Jazz, and neither of the new ones seemed right, and not Ratchet either, Optimus just CAN'T die obviously. We had a hell of run... -Bee
R.I.P. hironhide u.u my favorite
when cue(the old robot) died....I was pretty sad.Ive heard this before too. I think its inception or avatar both epic scores.
@Dooland1991
Be thankful it was Sentinel Prime.
Bumblebee: "goodbye old friend"
It went on for ten seconds because the scene was in slow motion, not because the Decepticon was hesitating.
@fenrek but shockwave only had one hand, and the parachute caught him surprised so he was slow to get it off.
It really sounds like one of The Island theme. Michael Bay FTW
reminds me when I was sick so bad I had to not go to school for 3 days
SORRY TO HEAR THAT
NBA Live SO SAD
Nba Live this should've been played in supermans funeral in bvs
@ShockwaveMegatron He shouldn't have died, but I was sure that one of the meaningful transformers would. I thought this was a movie where Bee would die, but I'm glad i didn't. He's played such a big role in the movies.
@michiyo1986
Lol, same here! I was like "NO! NO! This is NOT how it's supposed to end!!!!"
@UltimateSauske But imagine if Bumblebee had been killed by Soundwave at that scene. It would had made the scene MUCH more sad. It was a great opportunity to make a sad scene. Much bigger impact.
I hate ppl who say thumbs up but thumbs up if you did or almost cried while watching this movie. OFF TOPIC I saw this in IMAX 3D it was EPIC!!
@dammitichangedagain -- Actually, Mirage was supposed to die instead of Wheeljack/Que, but Ferrari objcted to it at the last minute.
@EinsteinsNipple I was shocked, too. That's the only thing besides characters not getting enough screen time that I didn't like.
@Pvt360 it does! i never noticed that. he is an amazing composer though.
@MrArmenian17
Finally somebody else on here that gets what I'm saying. The only Decepticons that actually tore shit up and put up a fight were the Dreads. That was about it. Everybody else sorta just tripped over their own feet or died after one shot. We all know the Decepticons are gonna lose. We all know that they're gonna die and the Autobots will win. Just don't make it so obvious, ya know?
@TomaH4WK911 no, if you read the comics, you find out that Brains was a DECEPTICON brain unit. that gained self awareness.
@BowserisOK
Not trying to sound TOO pedantic, but Barricade is the one who executes Que. Although Soundwave is still effectively the one behind it.
@shockwave2291
Finally somebody that gets it.
@michiyo1986 I yelled wtf out loud when Ironhide DID die.
@SmithsCreativeStudio
Now I think I actually like the ending for the novel better than the film itself, but at the same time, I think it's good that the novel and the film didn't follow the same route because that would've spoiled it for us already.
@arraneeno No, I think you''ll find it was some plain looking Decepticon who does the first shot, then Soundwave finishes him off.
@Teeheehee093 yeah, I noticed that the 2nd time I saw it, but I was freaking out in the movie theater.
@dancingbanana627 That would have been a brave sacrifice. I agree with you, that would have been a better way of Ironhide to die. I still wish he wouldnt have died in the movie, but it happened in such a terrible way.
@TimeForFunGuy duude i was bout to bawl on that scene yo ='(
omg, off topic but my heart just sank at ironhides fall ='( i honestly couldn't breathe... yet everytime bee is on the edge of death i find it predictable that he'll live somehow?
