Its so cool that I was given the opportunity to speak to both Minji Chang and Jane Perry on my podcast. 2 wonderful women who played some incredible characters. I've known Jane's voice since the Hitman games, she has a special place in my heart. Minji's portrayal of Songbird was insane because it wasn't something I expected. So much heartbreak and I fell in love with her. Seeing them together in this space talking about what they did is amazing.
Such an amazing episode! It would be so amazing if at some point their could be cast reunion of all the characters! Would love to see them all together discussing their work!
In Japan, anime voice actors do what's called "radio-bangumi," which is taking the anime character and doing radio with them and the rest of the show's cast.
Something like theatre on the radio. With background noise, the street, interiors.
Cyberpunk's voices are so distinctive that they would have worked very well in a process like that.
That sounds really cool!
Rogue is one of my favorite characters in Cyberpunk 2077...her later scenes with V, esp. the one in the motel room after Johnny's Big Night Out, I find absolutely riveting. I've only played through Phantom Liberty once so I haven't experienced very much with Songbird, but I very much look forward to more.
A great episode! It’s so interesting to see the process from a different perspective, to see how it works, how it influence everyone differently. Minji did a phenomenal job as So Mi. I could listen to Jane’s voice for hours, it’s so soothing and just amazing. I learned a lot from all of you and I think it’s a great way to dive even deeper into the world of Cyberpunk and see how it’s made and such a tremendous work is being put there to make it what it is. And players often don’t appreciate it, they just look at it from their own perspective only when there’s so so much more behind.
I’m very much hoping to see Cherami and Gavin here one day and hear their perspective.
Again, amazing episode :)
Glad you enjoyed it!
my respect for you and your process Jane Perry, grow exponentially. thank you to all of you for having this conversation.
Yay~ I'm so happy that there's more with them and the RedStreams with them wasn't all. Would really love for more episodes with Jane, Minji, and Alix, as well as the other cast members.
Noted!
Oh damn I didn't knew Jane Perry was Bowman in Wildlands, that was great performance, really brought a lot in those cutscenes that next part in that series lacked without that and her input tbh. I know breakpoint had cameo of the character but still... *The Karen* (Bowman) in videogame you can respect.
Fascinating convo about the dynamics between animators and voice actors 👍
Really happy we went in that direction and the questions were flipped on Sebastian 😆
You can see that the individual areas and details that are necessary for the development of outstanding characters come together in the end to form a symphony. I'm simply Heart Struck by the Characters of Cyberpunk 2077 and Phantom Liberty. So, thanks to all of You who were a part of it and brought it to life.💛💙❤
Btw Sebastian talked about Evelyn and he said that those who are familiar with the genre of cyberpunk may have known where her character was going, but for me whose entry to the genre is Cyberpunk 2077, what happened to Evelyn absolutely destroyed me 😭and stays with me to this day. I think I also bonded with her a lot more than most players because the first time I played CP77, I had a weaker PC, so I just kept replaying the Watson area part of the game until I was able to upgrade to a more powerful one because I wanted to experience the rest of the game with ray tracing and all those fancy stuff, so what happened to Evelyn really felt like losing a friend to me.
Minji !!!!!!!!! 💜
Some cut scenes to give examples would have been good!
58:09 was so insightful! Im SO glad im not the only one who thinks about characters like this :D
1:04:20 minji fucking LIVES songbird. Man I fucking love her, I can tell how much her character means to her. Easily my favourite character from the whole game :(
Do one with Gavin and Cherami together!
Jane Perry; What a noble voice. She is one of the best.
Rogue!!!
Dodaj angielski do Wiedźmina 3. To bardzo ważne dla naszego przetrwania! Dzięki!
I should leave you to prepare :)
Classic quote! :D
Hello! please add the ability to control a gyroscope to the game Cyberpunk
I would really like to ask you to contact the modder and officially add "Romanced Enhanced" mods to the game, because at the moment the end of the novels looks extremely unimmersive. Especially River. He sits through the wall, and the children are like idols
Cannot wait til The Woketcher 4 is out. So it ruins you. Amazing how I managed to live in peace with my fellow countrymen until you made your crusade to 'improve' me.
CD Projekt, you can forget about me buying at least one more game of the witcher or cyberpunk series or merch based on them!!!
As you treat us, so we treat you! Everything is simple! 🖕😡🖕
