  • A selection of clips depicting Portuguese buses at work in the mid to late 1990s. The locations seen here are Albufeira on the Algarve and the cities of Evora and Beja further north. Principally the buses are of AEC / UTIC manufacture, but one or two Leyland and DAB products can be seen. Operators videoed here are EVA Transportes and Belos.

    This video are a relic... the transition between the nationalised company to the privatisation of transportation...
    I realy miss Beja from those days when i used to travel daily from Beja to Mértola (where i lived) as a teenager to school in the "Rodoviaria do Algarve" later renamed EVA....

    I’m from Portugal I was born in a great little place called Vieno di castelio in the north I’m now living in Sweden. Seeing this old buses brings up a lot of memories.
