Trying out FarmHUD but my version isn't displaying nodes from the minimap. I'm within 15 yards of an herb I can pick, but clicking into the HUD nothing shows up - also tried with party members without any luck. Is there another addon I'm supposed to be using with FarmHUD?
@@legatox8 If you haven't figured it out yet, the issue is because the latest version of Farmhud 8.0.6 is broken. Download 8.0.5 and it should begin working again.
Of Hells Design I managed to get it to work in newest version. Toggling the HUD scale down to 10% and back up to 100% fixed it. Thank you for responding though!
I use farm hud along with routes. You can configure it so there is a most economical route to fly when gathering. I tested it with a couple off areas and I was getting about 20 percent more ore/herbs. Once you know the route of by heart then you can disable it. Perfect for new zones/farms.
I believe when this vid came out I was testing TukUI, sister addon of Elv. But it was also when I was using Big Dumb Guild's addons. So one of those. Plater will do that though
I know this is an older video but Leatrix Plus is a really good utility addon. Lets you add a lot of features like faster loot, duel decline, auto accept and turn in quests, better dressing room frame that gives you a bigger frame and allows you to go 'nude' or just remove tabard, auto sell junk, auto repair (guild bank or personal)... Many more features. You can use any of them you want, turn off the ones you don't.
Good tip, thanks! I tried leatrix for a while and for people who don't use TSM, it's pretty amazing. Saves you from downloading addons that do all the other things. My only problem with it is that it does so much that you really have to understand each piece. Auto blocking trades or guild invites sounds nice at first, but there are lots of situations where you have to figure out what's going on, open options, uncheck the box, and reload just to accept a tome you asked for before pull. It stays up to date pretty well though, so it's good at the start of xpacs before all the smaller addons figure out their bugs.
Yes in TSM you can add in the tooltip bar extra functions Regional sale rate DB market price or even DB markets sold price if you add that on whenever you scroll over any item it will automatically show you how much a current item is selling for on your auction house I would also add on how many are being posted that way you know if there's 10 or thousand

Can't do that. Farmhud is just the minimap, so you can either track herbs or not. If you want to remove some of the clutter, you can turn off what gathermate is tracking in the main options section (so it doesn't show mining, treasures, arch, etc), or you can turn off specific items under "filters."

I use my Rogue for gathering herbs - Tends to be nice to stealth into mobs, grab my herb and move on. In BfA with currently no ability to fly, add this with movement potions, gems, etc I move faster than a Druid regardless of what form they are in - Plus unless they are stealth also, they tend to pull mobs, but they can't stealth and use speed ... So *shrugs*. I am sure once flight comes available again, a Druid will be useful, but again, I've always managed to beat a druid to a node, lol. >.

The Felsteel Annihilator doesn't work like sky golem. I thought that even though my friends had been talking about sky golem maybe they just didn't think to mention it, so I went out and tested on some Legion herbs, and it doesn't work you get dismounted. I guess I probably would have noticed if this worked at some point in all of Legion.
need to roll a druid with herb and mining. Monk is excellent for skinning (you can afk farm with your totem), some good skinnings are in dungeons so I would either suggest mining with it or engineering.
do you mean little red circles? If so, that's the whole point of gathermate. Showing you where the nodes COULD be , so you can swing by and check when you get close. If you mean that the yellow node marker is showing when there isn't a node there, then I've never heard that before. More info plz
It means a few different things, but generally just doing as little as you can. True AFK farming is against the terms of service cause you need human inputs for your abilities, but if you just want to watch netflix/youtube while making gold, you can make a tageting macro for moonfire and just spam click it while you're watching your second monitor. You can put a monk statue down, turn on the rushing jade wind talent (constant AoE around you), and just loot every two minutes. Did a fishing video recently that shows how to make the bobber fill your entire screen so you never so you always click in the same place and just press 121212.
Next time your out there on Argus doing basalisks i stand in front of the cave and leave the party right before i pull and unless its a pvp realm i never have to worry about someone else's loot. Help me test this Wreckless
Is it bad that I am considering firing up my third account just for gathering toons since my demon hunter is dual gathering and I hate the sky golem so much. If not for the fact that my druid has all of the legion LW recipes I would just make her dual gathering and my druid on my second account is a 101 twink.
i pesonally use server hop made by chronoexplosion on the curse client/twitch launcher currently on version 7.3.0.1 and i never had any problems with that, you can even bind the hopping from 1 server to the next to a macro using /run ServerHop_HopForward(), i do recomend going in to the settings and turn off non auto-accept groups, this option (on by default) sends a join request to groups that have auto-accept turned off so you are then waiting for the leader to accept you for a max of x time depending on your settings between 1 and 15 seconds (10 seconds by default), turning the option off makes it so it only joins auto accept groups making the farming and hopping way smoother with instant hops
someone can tell me what is his UI addons ? I mean it's seem like Elvui but is more "refined" the chat is not a "black box" , So someone know addons it is or it's an extension for Elvui ?
In this vid I was testing out TukUI, predecessor to elvui. I'm now using the BenikUI variant. Still prefer BigDumbGuild's UI package but it was having conflicts with other things I was using.
Thanks for the update. The addon's pretty dead, and the devoloper of it actually stopped supporting it at the end of legion, but hopping is still a useful tool. Just need to manually hop. I recommend doing groups like the world bosses or Stone Golem. The raids where if one person isn't there, no one cares.

Can't do that. Farmhud is just the minimap, so you can either track herbs or not. If you want to remove some of the clutter, you can turn off what gathermate is tracking in the main options section (so it doesn't show mining, treasures, arch, etc), or you can turn off specific items under "filters."
What was the addon that told us when we last mined the node? It was available during WOTLK.

I am monk with herb and mining and I am unsure if I should go for sky golem or reroll my proffs on a druid, any suggestions?
The Totem is super useful and sky golem can help alot vs rolling for a druid. if you have the time id reroll not to mention, Druid Tanks are goat.

I'm pretty sure server hop hasn't worked in 2 years I think they uploaded some kind of patch in BFA that stops this addon

Sorry, yah, bluzz killed that late legion. But all it did was search for pre-made groups, and you can still do that manually.

Auto-join is no longer an option in raid/dg finder, so ServerHop is essentially dead.
