This is a 👏 brilliant tour of my old stomping grounds. A trip down memory lane. Thank you. 😊

Thank you for the lovely feedback very much appreciated. Legbourne is a lovely village and the church is beautiful. I had to redo the church scene as the the days are so short here in December and the light wasn’t very good on Boxing Day when got there.
My bike tyre went flat when got into Legbourne. Ironically I had a problem with my car when went back on New Years Day to take photos so did not have much time there.
Where is Oz are you? We are back in Perth in February.

Awsome vid! Great to see Louth, I grew up on Chestnut Drive. The family moved in when it was new in the early 70s and lived there till a few years ago.

Ann Brisowe made a comment on your page, she used to live in Chestnut drive and my sister Julie was her bridesmaid when she married in Trinty church.

Thank you for the comment. It’s such a shame that the old church was destroyed in 1991.

So the Lincolnshire Poacher is now a private house. That is a loss to Louth heritage. It was visited by Winston Churchill on one of his wartime inspection tours. I've only ever been in it once many years ago.

The Lincolnshire Poacher closed a few years ago. Sadly, we’ve lost few good pubs over the years here in Louth.
