It's a way to protect yourself legally, the "allegedly" thing. Otherwise big money men sue the shit out of you for saying the truth, and their friends will ensure you get fucked over by the system.
Bro if fuckin Geoge W. Bush even said himself that it was "wholly unjustified" then I don't think you can get sued for that. Also the country of free speach really unable to critique government policy lmao
System of A Down was the best Nu metal band. Deftones, Korn, Disturbed (their first album kinda mid but I really like their 3rd and 4th album), and Slipknot were great in their own way but SOAD was on another level imo.
Army veteran here, married to a disabled Army veteran: almost entirely fabricated reasons. And almost entirely poor kids with very few options and growing up in a place where the one universal constant across the entire US is that we respect military. Its beat into you as children: they are heroes, respect them, honor them, thank them. While simultaneously belittling any decent education, and in case you STILL decide you want to get educated: its been prohibitively expensive in many cases, and if not: your federal student loans ensure they own you either way. But the poor are always the ones marching off too die, so some group of rich assoles can make billions more dollars that they can never spend, on the blopd of the countrys poor. The enlisted military isnt packed with patriotism, its packed with people who had few other options, that became patriotic when serving...if even at all. This song was 2005....it still took us 15 more years of that bullshit, and we have nothing to show for it but PTSD and a buncj of dead friends. I dont know about others, but I suspect its the same: ive lost more friends to suicide than any of the battles of the last 20 years.
System of a Down inspired me to start playing guitar 15 years ago, I'm now working on releasing my own music. I love you Serj, Daron, Shavo, and yes, even you John, though I'd maybe cool it on the Instagram posts, sheeeeesh.

try a tribute to Living Sacrafice or Stryper. Ya they Christian bands but also still exist. there's also Tourniquit and Vengeance Rising. I was raised Christian and could listen to them.
Great finally system of a down!! Love those guys! That shirt made me think...what's going on here? Then I said Hey this is HawknLoad f##ker can wear whatever he wants. I'll still tune in cause these short videos are kickass!!!
Hawk. That shirt is awesome! Love you man! Don’t ever change… by the way I still love LuLu and think that album is a lot better than most say it is. ;)
It's always interesting to hear what shit goes down on SNL. While I didn't like her music, I was watching SNL when Sinied (sp?) O'Conner was guest during... think it was 80s?, so yeah I was watching when she tore a photo of the Pope on live TV then got banned from SNL Sadly, I wasn't watching in later years so missed this performance described here
I feel like System of a Down was in its own category. I can definitely see a Nu Metal influence but to me it's almost like listening to Ska and calling it Jazz.
See bands like system of a down are great an respected cuz they witnessed bad things happen...serj one of the smartest men in any business...speaks truth.....Rage against the machine.....Crybabies😢
“for what some believed to be fabricated reasons” i mean… it is now objective fact that we went into Iraq on the basis of lies. they were right. that context matters.
"Some believe" is a funny way to say has without a doubt been proven to be fabricated

@@hatred9427fuck the system!
@@boyinny1779hey. That's another SOAD song!
System will always rise above the numetal moniker.
I mean there's nothing wrong with being Nu Metal. Some great and unique bands came from that era.

NU-METAL 👏🏻🤘🏻🙋🇨🇱
Whahuh

That exact performance was the first soad thing i really watched and im so grateful I by chance listened to it

“Some believe” no it was definitely BS. Love the SOAD knowledge
Love the shirt 😂. Always listen to a pinch of System here and there

I'm glad I found. This channel keep it up man I'm enjoying the content and short from storys
Thanks bro. I love making them and I'm stoked that you dig it.
SOAD is one of the few bands that I could listen to any song of theirs and at the very least kinda like it, no song I dislike.
No way John Marston became a metalhead after Beecher's Hope shootout lol

Nice ending w the reasoning of the shirt! Love SOAD, especially the song Hypnotize!
Never got into this dudes when they were at their height but do enjoy watching some of their live work
Now I feel compelled to search for that performance. Thanks for the info.
Gotta love him for that. Reminds me of Rage Against the Machine 😂. Love the shirt ❤
Fabricated reason that's right bro.
Another great video Hawk. Keep them coming bro

Love your shirt! ❤
their penultimate album
Yeah that was cool the first time...when rage against the machine did it
The SNL show was what got me into SOAD
Fcc ? Right...censorship applies when it is convenient
It’s maddening to hear soad being called numetal. They are their own metal subset
“Some believe”
Never ever considered them nu metal . They are there own thing and all bands should be that way.
That and Rage against the machine ban
im not a metal head but i love SOAD
Soad is not numetal where did that come from
??
They aren't, but people keep saying they are so this guy is riding on that bandwagon

Whenever you said “mesmerize” You sounded like Serj Tanikan “singer”💀💀
?????
English please
SNL didn't even have to ban them it was the last album they'd ever put out lol
"some believe" are we still playing this game?
Our music scares people and yet us metal heads are the kindest people. You ever met a country singer? They can be mean drunks. 😂
Not true. I’ve seen metal heads get infuriated by someone saying they don’t like metal. They then go and bash every genre that isn’t metal. 🤷🏾♂️
I saw this live it was fuckin great
How many t-shirts do you wear accidentally?
I feel like System of a Down was in its own category. I can definitely see a Nu Metal influence but to me it's almost like listening to Ska and calling it Jazz.
What were you, like 4 when SOAD came out?
You look like Rex Brown from Pantera a little bit 😅

System of a Down for me through my deployments to Iraq.

they were singing about armenian genocide
Daron 100% did that just to get banned I reckon.. SNL just wasn’t System’s style and they trolled them hard here
daron is so funny lol
Is that British Steel around your neck?
Yes and no. It was a gift. Dime used to wear one. But he wore it in homage to British Steel so yes.

Mesmerize/Hypnotize was a double album and it was their third album.
It was their 4th album
1. Self titled - 1998
2. Toxicity - 2001
3. Steal this album - 2002
4. Mesmerize/Hypnotize - 2005
They let them perform the song with multiple F bombs but then banned them because the engineer missed one? 🥴

One term that I find highly offensive is the "f-bomb", not "fuck", the "f-bomb".

Not Nu metal. They had a sound all their own without falling into the same bracket as Korn.
but no footage
Knoxville and SOAD lol
